I did it.. My son is 6 years old. No words at all.. Not find good spl how has knowledge on AAC.. Now a days SPLs are quitting job frequently. Not able to stick with one teacher for my son 😞

It's true I know cus I'm facing the same issue when trying to hire SLPs. But don't give up Preeti. Continue ur search. Even if 2 , 3 SLPs don't work out u keep looking.

My my son is 4.6 years has understanding command following pointing, but he is not talking, he is at letters stage only. He says ma if we tells to say mango and says go if we tells him to say goat, he is not joining ma and go to get a meaningful word mango.

Where are we going now ? Something like tHat . And if we ask them something like where did u go what happend at school and so on . Please make a video on this topic . Because in all you tube channel I see basic speech therapy but there is no such video like this

My son is non speaking, has few words and his speech depends so much on motivation . I have seen him struggle with speech, his understanding is very good, but his speech is slurred/not clear and ckearly there are mistakes in sound production in words. I have always felt he has mild apraxia.

Echolalia is not a disease to cure. Just a side effect of not having enough language/ communication skills. To reduce echolalia, improve speech and communication ability through speech therapy.
