I want to make this ABSOLUTELY CLEAR - this is a FANTASTIC instructional video. You need to make videos like this for a living. Outstanding - clear, concise, easy to understand, no fluff and informative. Grade: A+++
Hello my friend from Florida I want to thank you for making this content and also want to thank you for all the little pro tips you give along the way I really enjoy how thorough you are and how much attention you paid a detail. Thanks again and keep making this great content.😊
This guy was absolutely excellent… Easy to follow, step-by-step instructions. Everything appeared exactly as he showed. Without the wasted time of taking it out the box and reading the instructions 👎. THANK YOU!!
Great video, but I found it a bit better to unmount it first before removing the wiring, just had to have someone else hold while taking the connections off.
Great video... except there's a million things on top, on the side and all around the alternator that are not in this video. Thanks for the video... easy to follow and understand.
I wouldn’t torque the mounting bolts to 37 foot pounds maybe just nice and hand tight with a few more turns. Broke the heads off of my bolts before reaching 37
so my s10 is stuck rn lol they towed it i just got it back its snow on the ground and freazing i have a new alternator but is it okay for me to do it in the mild cold i feel like the belt might be froze lol im guessing since it is rubber
PLEASE edit your title that this is for the V6 and not the 2.2 four cylinder, as other people have mentioned the 2.2 four cylinder needs its own video as the procedure for getting the alternator out is completely different.
Does anyone know where that single wire plug he pulled out leads to? My trucks got melted off and I want to rewrite it, but can’t find where it leads to.

I have basically rebuilt my S 10 thanks to this guy. Changed my alternator in 10 minutes as a storm was closing in
+king robby Thanks for the feedback! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
This is my favorite channel to watch for making repairs on my S10.
Me and my friend followed your video and changed an alternator in a s10 today. Very clear steps to follow. Thank you 🙏🏾
Thanks for this. My 15 year old daughter and I were able to get the alternator removed pretty easily

I gotta get this done, this video is great reference, a shop wants over $450 to do an alternator replacement so I figure it's best to do it myself.
Thank you so much for this! I just had my truck stall and die on me in traffic and the alternator seems to be destroyed. This helped so much!!!
This is exactly the type of video I look for when searching out a task. Thank you for getting directly to the point wo/the bs.👍
Great video, but I found it a bit better to unmount it first before removing the wiring, just had to have someone else hold while taking the connections off.
Short, sweet, to the point. Absolutely beautiful. 😎
Outstanding video! I'm ready to change out my alternator tomorrow 🙌 thank you!

Thank you bro a simple video straight to it
Interesting how you have much more room than I do trying to get this stuff off.
I wouldn’t torque the mounting bolts to 37 foot pounds maybe just nice and hand tight with a few more turns. Broke the heads off of my bolts before reaching 37
Just what I needed. Thanks !!!
This must be for 4.3 engine. My alternator is down low on a 2.2 engine
Thank you for of video 🙂
My 1995 chevy s10 isn't the same as this one in the video.

How about doing a video on one with a 2.2L.
you make it look so easy...

Thank you for your help. I have a Chevy blazer 98 i seen your video and I did it my self. Exelent. Explication 💪💪💪💪
Thanks for not saying it's a 4.3 L clickbait

This must be for a V-6 not a 2.2 L four-cylinder
Thanks for the video. Got a New subscriber 👍

This is nothing like my 03 s10
+Bevin Kaker Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Mine is 2002 S10 and this video wasn't for my truck
This is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL like my truck!
