IMPORTANT NOTE: I’ve already sold all the Criterions I wished to sell.
Important to Note: I didn’t end up selling all of my collection (essentially sold 90% of it), but the ones I wished to sell have already been sold. Glad I was able to keep my ABSOLUTE favorites. This doesn’t mean the criterion vibes are gone, they’re alive and well. Just can’t go crazy like I used to with sales. Thanks for watching and reading fellow film fans.
Can you do a video on the ones that you kept?
Great video man! Criterion’s or not I’m just happy to hear your insight into film. Thank you for sharing👏
@@yeaboy707 Perhaps I’ll do one next year to see how the collection goes
@@labelfilms6838 thanks man, that means a lot.
I had to sell all of my criterion’s about 10 years ago… and I had everyone to around 400. But I’ve started re-buying them over the last couple of years and you will get there again also. They will always be there.
My Dad passed away as well, but his favorite movies were LOTR Trilogy.
Damn man, hope things start lifting up soon. 👍
Hey thank you. Things are going good since I’ve filmed this video back in September.
randomly came across this vid, but sorry for your loss - for the sudden family shit, but also just the Criterions... makes us sound like nutcases, but I have a close emotional attachment to my collection, too, so i get it
I like to come to this video every once in a while, glad you are on the up and up with your recent content. You have an enjoyable narrative voice and a admirable love of the collection and film. Thank you, Mr. Griff
I love your CHANNEL IM SO ADDICTED TO WATCHING YOU
everywhere at the end of time has to be the saddest royalty free music ive ever heard
Sorry to hear that you had to sell. But don’t fret.....they can always be picked up in the future
Some of my favourites from your list were, In the mood for love, my own private idaho la haine, thin red line, moonrise kingdom, brighter summer day, Memories of murder.
Naked Lunch is my fave Cronenberg
GOAT letterboxd user
Here for Team Boyhood! Woop woop!
Hope you are better now 🙏
I am a lot better now, thank you for the kind words :)
are you excited for the spike lee remake of high and low with denzel?
Terrible to have to sell this great collection :(
I really hope you get to make one just as nice and twice as big :)
We need a new collection tour!
Great video. I am really glad you got to keep most of your collection. I do hope you got rid of the only 💩 Salo that you own. Keep your head up. Cheers.
FV
Poopity Scoop for sure 😤
its about "chillin" he says haha
oh my god man:( that is so shitty especially since you have such a big incredible collection. You will get them all back when things start looking up
Hi bro, do you think is important to keep any of the blue stickers with the approval of the directors that come in some Criterion?
Good Man
human condition box was a thing.
for dvd haah.
I don't have 1 blue ray
boom
We need Woody Allen in the criterion collection.
I mean, how much money did you have to raise? This just feels like it makes so little sense… You should have just done a go fund me and we would have donated to help you our or something so you could keep your films dude… Srsly.
It’s in the past now, thank you for your concern though :)
Bro stop putting Everywhere At the End of Time in the videos. It makes me depressed. I guess thats a bit of the point of this video but every video has this and I can't sleep
I know but 1) it radiates The Shining vibes which I love and 2) it’s hard finding *good* free-use background music.
Seen most of these. I think Tree of Life might be the most boring film I’ve ever seen unfortunately.
Boyhood was boring AF.
