The work seems to have really ramped up in the last few months. I guess there's quite a lot of prep work to get through, then it all suddenly becomes more visible. It's certainly an interesting scheme.
Morning Sarah…in all railway infrastructure videos…. the amount of men in Orange standing around with their hands in their pockets found nothing is amazing 😂😂 Happy New Year to all viewers…
Fantastic video, Sarah.
That poor old bridge looked very sad.
Yes, it looked a bit odd just sat there in a car park with no purpose!
And yet another informative update in the latest insight into the vital yet crucial transpennine route upgrade.
Thanks for another great video
Thank you 👍
It's good to see progress on the TRU.
Absolutely. Great to see it taking shape.
Thanks Sarah for another good video. Have a healthy, peaceful & prosperous new year. God bless you. 👍
Thanks for a great new update Sarah 😎
nice to see infrastructure being built again, thanks for sharing and Happy New Year

This work was planned well before Labour was elected!
Excellent update many thanks
Thankyou
Thanks for great updates.
Looks like you got there a few hours, after me.
The crane was fully out.
TRU Progress. Cheers, from across the Pond !
It's starting to take shape nicely. The North of England may finally get the railway that its proud towns and cities have long deserved!
I hope the TRU will now extend to Hull to complete the coast to coast route.
Unlikely. That was cut from the program very early on and has never had much of a chance of being revived.

I wondered why all the TPEs were going by Castleford today.
❤❤👍👍😊😊
How many administrators have been used to plan this work?
What bridge was that at @2:41? It looks like they have removed the whole embankment!
That's the old bridge that had been removed and put in the middle of a nearby car park. Looks weird with nothing on either side of it.
@sarahandwills makes sense, thanks!
Freightliner have plenty of spare Loco’s.
Yes, there's usually a line of locos at Midland Road that haven't seen action for some time. The 70s don't seem to be used as much as they could be
They will leave loads of rail debris and any litter will of course not be picked up!
