They will leave loads of rail debris and any litter will of course not be picked up!

Given the vaste length of this branch line it could be turned into a heritage railway.

It's a big project 3 years from next year to complete it's aong time, to do all that work building a viaduct new station, trains will have to be diverted via the Calder ale line,

We've come a long way since I watched the gas works train pass under the viaduct and run down the side of the Monday market with the flag bearing man leading the way. More good coverage, thank you.

Have you seen the concrete beams for the viaduct are already in Huddersfield? Take a walk to the old demolished tech site and see them there

Really nice TRU Mirfield station upgrade ! Thank you for your on the spot coverage and reportage (in the cold and wet). Amazing retrofit/expansion/upgrade to the nice bridge as well.

If Woodhead (or even Colne-Skipton for a north route ) had been retained none of this expenditure would have been necessary

WOW, an impressive video, featuring that osmondthorpe road bridge of whom now being reconstructed/replaced as part of th vital yet crucial upgrade.... A friend of mine - who's also a fellow member of specialist autism services charity like I am, lives near there - osmondthorpe road bridge of course, And great to see a stretch of the same transpennine route at cottingley, as well as across churwell viaduct in this video, as well as morley station too.... I myself (with autism) happen to live in morley, even near churwell, especially to where the railway line passes through out there.... I also have another friend who lives somewhere in churwell, Hopefully during the new year 2025, further TRU works will eventually take place.... I do believe the footbridge at cottingley station might have to be risen higher - before wires of the electrification are installed, as well as the geldard road bridge - further to the north of cottingley station, might also be reconstructed higher, so that electrification wires can pass underneath said geldard road bridge, Also, I do believe cottingley station is going to be replaced by 'white rose station' from when it's eventually built as part of the route upgrade..... even when electrification passes through morley station, I bet it'll be an extra challenging task for workers on installing wires through the incredibly long & winding morley tunnel that passes beneath the hilly old market town centre, en-route to batley and onto dewsbury too, Osmondthorpe road bridge isn't the only structure being reconstructed, so I'm positive geldard road bridge might also be undergoing the same treatment out there as we speak. It really will be a huge transformation (in the making) from when the entire transpennine route is fully electrified, as well as vitally yet crucially upgraded too.

Pylons extend to Dragon bridge, saw them from a bus the other dau. White Rose station should be re named white elephant, its too far from the few remaining shops and some indicate that it will never get finished.
