All bands start out like this. Most of them even continue to do promo shows like these, but it would just be lame to not perform to larger audiences. Your goal when playing a live show is to have as many people as possible show up. It's a band's main source of income and it's the best way to spread the music. Wouldn't you be dissapointed if you could never see your favorites because they only sell 50 tickets per show?
***** I remember in the 80's/90's the Rolling Stones, Crowded House and a few other bands when touring would do a little "secret" gig in a small club the night before doing the big show at the stadium. Only one I ever saw was (Aussie rocker) Jimmy Barnes do an unplugged gig at a record store. That guy has an "amazing" voice in person.
Jade Prout Pfft. I am the same age as Mike Patton, newsflash: we put on weight as we age. Now, stop being a silly girl and toddle off and do something nice and constructive.
FNM is still killing it. Patton and the guys are just as tight as they were back in the early 90s. This is one band that does not disappiont live. Long live FNM!!!
This is....actually really fucking good haha. FNM used to be my go to back in the day but really expected a comeback to be a cash grab and nothing else. THEY DELIVER
He is one of the few singers that was able to maintain his voice from that era. When you listen to soundgarden pearl jam and some other comebacks I ve recently heard they sound really really bad. He is a very good singer.
FNM is the best rock band in the world. For me. I'm from the Czech Republic and here is of the most acclaimed album King for a Day ... Fool for a Lifetime and Angel Dust. And I'm lucky to be released new album. And this song is very very good
wow how lucky were you to be so close to them, i've only ever seen them from 50 feet away... would have loved to be there and have Mike spitting all over me ... i love FNM!!
Right on! Why do people try to rewrite history and claim that Jim Martin was a HUGE part of the FNM sound? He co-wrote literally 4 songs in the entire Patton era and only a couple more on the 1st 2 albums. Is it his wacky look? Why do people give that guy so much more credit than he deserves? The sound of this band has been dictated by Patton, Bottum, and Gould since The Real Thing. Martin didn't even play on their best album (KFAD).
Monica Russell Have you heard the guitar since Angel Dust? The riffs are no where near as distinctive and powerful, even in Angel Dust where he was clearly less interested you heard bits and pieces. After that the riffs just felt so generic after that.
47 years old, still out sings/screams 20 year olds. Patton #1
This is how you're supposed to see a band, up close, personal and part of the action, not from 100 feet away down from a gigantic stage.
Bad. ASS.
True, but having that guy's smart phone in my face at some points made me want to shove it somewhere he wouldn't find so smart.

Aaron Lucas Jimmy Barnes has a good voice? You sure?
Still my favourite drummer of all time - well done Mike!!!
Ben Wherlock He bloody rocks hey! But I've gotta give Matt Cameron the number 1 spot imho :-)
I am absolutely certain the studio version of this song will absolutely floor me. I am in stitches waiting for the new album! :)
Same here! Late March can't come soon enough!
so in the end, this version has more balls than studio :D
It's like they froze Patton when they went on hiatus, hasn't aged a day
That's true! He looks just like he looked 20 years ago!
MigoRoad I miss the long hair he had 25 years ago.
Aaron Lucas Yep, really miss when he used to headbang with that long hair
he looks like he's eaten a few too many pies
Nice Mongrel I wish he'd eat my pie!
Mike Patton looks like he's found the Fountain of Youth!
Yeah, it's called putting on some weight.
Jade Prout Pfft. I am the same age as Mike Patton, newsflash: we put on weight as we age. Now, stop being a silly girl and toddle off and do something nice and constructive.
thomasinam men molt midage. no big whoop.
FNM is still killing it. Patton and the guys are just as tight as they were back in the early 90s. This is one band that does not disappiont live. Long live FNM!!!
Now this shit is more like the FNM I remember. Keep it coming.
They still have so much energy. What a killer album!
This is just amazing. And Patton doesn't get older, wtf.
haha only gods do that
My fav track in the new album. This one and Matador.
This is....actually really fucking good haha. FNM used to be my go to back in the day but really expected a comeback to be a cash grab and nothing else. THEY DELIVER
Hell Yeah!! Mike Bordin is Beyond Sick! And Mike Patton gives me goosebumps!! Love these guys since We Care A Lot
Pretty sure you are the luckiest guy on earth being this close to a legend.
This song is absolutely great to hear live.
It WILL make you bounce around.

I love it. The new album is great!
He is one of the few singers that was able to maintain his voice from that era. When you listen to soundgarden pearl jam and some other comebacks I ve recently heard they sound really really bad. He is a very good singer.
Yeah Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell are both horrible vocalists ..... riiiggghhht
Yep they both sound like shit to me.
And I only refer to live singing. I would not waste my time listening to pearl jam or Soundgarden's new record.
Arthur C dont you fuckn knock pearl or garden lest you got balls to do it in person.
Arthur C
OK thats your choice but referring to two of the greatest rock vocalists as a 'waste of time' makes me question your trollness
OMG! I was watching the video for about 3 minutes before I even realized there was a guy in a leather mask in the background! LMAO!
Still my favorite band in the world. Still my one and only hero. Glad to see he's looking more like his old self!
Rock On!
Love this song. I missed you guys. Glad your back and in fine form.

FNM is the best rock band in the world. For me. I'm from the Czech Republic and here is of the most acclaimed album King for a Day ... Fool for a Lifetime and Angel Dust. And I'm lucky to be released new album. And this song is very very good

Let's all pine for the return of ex members that have been gone from the band for decades.
You speaketh of Sir James Martin?
He was slain by a most horrid Dragon eons ago.
He now feasts in the halls of Valhalla!!
Jim Martin had a big influence. Take the plug out the ear.
Monica Russell Have you heard the guitar since Angel Dust? The riffs are no where near as distinctive and powerful, even in Angel Dust where he was clearly less interested you heard bits and pieces. After that the riffs just felt so generic after that.
poonoo87 I'm sorry but, Spruance produced some pretty unreal riffs on King for a Day. Anyway, you are one of the people we are talking about.
WELCOME TO ROCK IN RIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Завидую тебе, чувак!
