Everyone is welcome! / Todos Bienvenidos!
Mike Patton has to be one of the top 10 vocalists of all time
Certainly
Top 5
One of the most versatile vocal ranges known in existence.
@@ilmostrocordobes Top 3
I'd also say it's in my top 5 or 3, but regarding all he can do with his voice, how he manages singing, breathing, and at the same time expressing emotions through these two things, I think he's NUMBER ONE. I think he's unique.
Who's still fucking with FNM in 2024??
Me as well brother
Me! Every day!!!
mee too. I just bought a angel dust casette for my 30years old toyota starlet :D. But do the band tour soon?
Since 1989 til the day I die..
No clue about touring but I WILL GO when it happens!
Mike Patton delivers EVERYTIME, and so do Faith No More. This IS the band to see live.
Saw them live in the late 80's in a small Boston club just before they made it to the big time. They were amazing and it was obvious they were destined to music history.
@@loumonte658 I became a fan for life after seeing them live almost by accident at a music festival many years ago. Mike Patton was in an obviously bad mood that day but still delivered an awesome set.
Every time I watch they get better.
Out of breath jacked up bullshit is what you call delivering?
Mike Bordin is such an underrated drummer. so talented, the band wouldn't be the same without him.
Well Said.
Indeed, mate
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or better yet.. No Patton no band ;-)
also you forgot Roddy, Billy, and Patton..... and maybe Jim too
Patton's satisfied giggle at 31:38 getting back to killing Midlife Crisis is priceless.
Singing Hall and Oates as well... :D
I was there and it was one of my favorite live show memories.
Totally. They version strawberry letter too and lowdown with this tune. Amazing!
We saw them do this set at Download in Donnington, and they blew the headliners, Muse, off the stage.
They get Better with age. One of my Favorite bands of All Time...
nice mine 2
@@papafauzzthat's hard to believe :-D
Came back here to see Chuck perform again. I saw him on his re-introduce yourself tour this past 2017 in Pittsburgh. It was amazing to see one of my heroes perform right in front of me. Rest easy Chuck. You'll always be my hero.
Even with subtitles, he is incoherent.
I don't mean to disrespect but he did'nt sound that well. The show overall was great tough.
RIP Chuck
@@magicmum100 did he die??
@@CrystalCat24 yes
30:23 - 31:38 is the best thing I've seen on RUclips all year!
SylentEcho what song was it?
allnightdwight Rich Girl by Hall & Oates.
the things I don't know..
allnightdwight Use accuradio. It's great to broaden your musical horizons.
thanks champ! although i already follow a load of blogs, and am always on soundcloud.. i'll give her a try but
Holy hell at 58:10. That would have been impressive from a 20 year old, let alone at his age. Dude is holding up well.
He surprises me every time I see anything to do with him, age doesn't seem to change anything for him
not only that, but at 1:12:31 which is later on near the end of the set (when most vocalists doing this type of intense stuff would be barely holding on) patton is still able to hit those upper operatic high notes. so amazing
Shepherd's Chapel Network !!!!!!! Chapter by Chapter / Verse by Verse !!!!!!! Amen
Really, really good technique. Look at his neck there’s like 0 tension. Only when he want to for certain effect.
those bitching about sound quality need better speakers. im listening thru my bose and its amazing. to those who say there is no energy, you werent there and you dont know. the vid shows the band the majority of the show and i was there. the place was erupting every song. keep in mind most of the fans are older and beyond beating the shit out of each other. we like to watch and pay attention to the skills before us. to those who complained about the set list, this set list was different from most the other shows. they prolly tried to mix it up because it was a live broadcast. notice that land of sunshine is missing. i say good on them for not being predictable.
Bitching about sound quality? I'm listening through a cheap-ass computer speaker set (LM386 amp chip) with Sony MDR-XB50 earbuds, and I never even thought about the sound quality being bad. It sounds really well balanced.
Greatest singer, one of my favorite drummers....Can't believe it's been 30+ years since I bought my first Faith No More cassette! Still listening! Can't get into today's BS.
hear hear!
You read my mind...fuck today's shit music! 🖕🖕
Mowing yards listening to epic in junior high and high school but don't like some of the later crap
1991..
Don't forget about Billy Gould, his playing is so soothing or aggressive and it can swap between that so quick
I've been to hundreds of shows and I can honestly say this is one of the top 1 or 2 live performances I've seen from any artist. A truly Magical night indeed.
Joe Marcello It didn't disappoint.
From howling, growling, punk rock metal to a classic Commodores song to chanting weird stuff----I love it,lol!
Agreed ! My brother and I made the road trip from Columbus for me, Cincinnati for him. Best concert road trip we've ever had. Definitely top three concerts ever. They were fucking amazing (except for Chuck) Anyone else enjoy those $2.50 pints of that local brew? Table was set up downs stairs by the bathroom.
@berlin in 2015 the same ... can't wait for see & hear them live again
Your report reminds me of an experience I had at Portland Zoo in 2004 when I week see David Byrne and I had no idea what I was about witness. The dude went off and made a statement seemingly out of nowhere and the crowd was the crowd that needed to be there. No bs just awesome vibe. My best show but I haven’t seen Mike yet or B-52’2 :)
I wish I was as cool as Mike Patton even for just one day
ruclips.net/video/woVicu39Nqs/видео.html
Mike for a day. . . Cool for a lifetime
But you are Just a man.
He just has been getting cooler as he ages, it's insanely good to witness.
@Badass Dan I pretty much do that anyway
Check out 58:10 -- 58:21
What a voice!! Now that's talent.
I've been a big fan since about '88-'89, and after all these years, what Mike Patton can do with his voice, never ceases to amaze me.
Damn.. I went to Hall n Oats instead. HnO played Midlife Crisis in the middle of Rich Girl.
Why is this comment not at 500 likes? lol
Probably the best band in the world.Mike Patton is a fucking genius and a great show man.
he sings like a god
+Björn Carp yeah Tanatus
+Andy Andreev very good voice
Björn Carp
i actually em trying them out and im really blown away how terrible the guitarist is and how bad Paton is singing in this show BUT i will listen more cause they kind of deserve it whit the studio things i heard... maybe just this shows is ass... just super disappointed
+Andy Andreev listen 2 king for a day album
I've seen over 30 bands live and FNM was by far the best!! So much energy, they just didn't stop. Thankful that I got to be here. This is a night I will never forget.
Did you ever FISHBONE? ,,,there are Amazing live
Love FNM...incredible live act and true pioneers. Talk about integrity - they got it in truck loads. People knocking Chuck should remember he was there at the start helping them break new ground and did some awesome stuff.
Introduce Yourself and the We Care Alot LP are just as important as the rest of the FNM catalog. They wouldn't be who they are without them. Much love and respect to Chuck Mosley. R.I.P. brother.
@@blackphillip8486 Amen!
Chucks contributions are vital we care a lot and introduce yourself are great records I was pleased to him when the tour happened in sf
@@anthonygm85 - R.I.P. Chuck...too young to die
Chuck's solo work was actually pretty good! Mark Bowen is my favorite FNM song regardless of singer.
I like the stage decorations, lighting and the overall visual aspect of this show.
I saw Faith No More three times. Open for GnR/Metallica and twice on their own. I lament not being able to go to this show, I wasn't quick enough to buy tickets. These guys bring it every night.
+Trews Detroit It was amazing, i got the presale tickets without issue using the code; the half time show at the dome was boobtastic as a 17 year old. :)
I couldn't agree more as a 16 year old at the Silverdome
cool
Mike is so good, mic breaks up and he's got his back up with 10 sec. This entire band is so talented. LOVE IT!
Як все було добре отрепітіровано!!!
Caffeine at 7:15 was friggin raw! One of their best performance of the songs since the Angel Dust days. Can't wait to see them Wed!
FNMCaffeine Midlife as well.
caffeine, my most played song of theirs... 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@iad77 me too!
they are one of the best bands live ever....better in my opinion than studio
@@kimmyfreak200 they never disappoint and mike's energy is awesome.
31:16 Bordin coordinating when the band will come back in from the Hall & Oates bit. "We hit two, wait, then back into the song." This was totally improved 5 minutes before the band went on stage, and they're Pro enough to pull it of flawlessly.
Really cool to see Chuck! 2 songs would have been better. With the 2nd song being "We care a lot". Thanks for coming back to give us more Faith! Way to go you guys!
And fyi. The crowd was insane. To those saying otherwise. We were not dead. I was front row and have bruises to prove it. Best concert ever.
mike has a voice that doesn't even age or change that much....this was so good
This video is in my self-care toolkit
Even tho Mikes voice has faded a little Im surprised how his tone of voice is still clean, considering how much he forced his vocal chords in the past. Ive heard countless of other singers whose voice just went down the drain. Cheers, Mike.
His screaming is still intact, :D
Like chuck
For real---he sounds really good here---glad to see they filmed a live show in my hometown, lol! It's funny---as big as these dudes were in the '90s, they rarely seem to be mentioned at all when talking about classic bands from the '90s. They don't ever seem to get credit for being one of the first real rock and rap bands, either.
He still has it, no question. There's no one like Patton.
His voice has been seeming rather rough since 2017, still think he could easily pull faith no more though
Me and my dad went to this. It really meant a lot to me. It was a great show.
just fkn great!!! gracias loko!
franko vertxe De nada!!
I almost pissed myself at 1:15:11 when Chuck almost says thanks to Jim!
PokeGrape I am new to faith no more, so why did Chuck react that way?
Geez. Just seeing this now. Jim Martin was FNM's old lead guitar player. Chuck and Jim performed together on the first two FNM albums. You might've found that out already though.
@@smithfan22 Chuck and Jim had a massive blow out and it lead to Chuck leaving...
Well, this is a far cry from when I saw them for the 1st time back in 1990 -or so. It was with Voi Vod, at the Trenton New Jersey City Gardens. Soon after that was at the Trocadero Philadelphia, Pa ... it was 96 degrees in the city that night. It was around 105 in the Troc, and they told the management IN the Troc to turn the AC OFF. A total sweatbox, and Patton comes out dressed in a FULL Fireman's outfit. They opened with Out Of Nowhere, and by the time Woodpeckers From Mars was part of the show, I was dragging my buddy OUT, as he had PASSED out. -Great Times
i was at both shows
WAS THERE TO SEE VOIVOD, faifh is an AMAZING BAND!!!
but!!!!
Angel dust came out AFTER this tour, AND EVERY LP FROM ANGEL DUST ON….. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! they didnt take off musically til angel dust on
VOIVOD WAS MY MAIN CONCERN, as im a UUUUUUUUGE!!!! VOIVOD FAN from The metal mass comp 83’🤘🏾
this FNM 2015 is A FUKIN PHENOMENAL SHOW
SONICALLY FUKIN ON POINT!!! sound A/V and all the trax superior
tht we care alot shit was CRAP compared to the very next lp ANGEL DUST i was at both CITY GARDENS AND THE TROC AN LAMOURS IN BK, saw VOIVOD so much and saw fnm many times in the Dust til mid to late 90s days
this fukin show 2015 is SO FUKIN DOPE!!!
u got it fuked up
we care alot when they played with voivod was POOP, VOIVOD KILLED THT SHIT THEM NIGHTS❤🤘🏾
LOVE hearing about it, thanks for sharing, Brother.
Faith No More - the only original rock.
Mike Patton - amazing
I think that some of today's "modern" bands should take a lesson
I agree with 100% If you want can you can you check out my friends band Planetary ruclips.net/video/D4FNtqaegqM/видео.html
I think record companies should refrain from signing wannabe rockers who don't have decent musicians and has singers that sing like a pop singer.
Surely they already have, that’s why they started.
just not fashion lessons, my god....
Amen!
For me, in the top ten of most influential bands of all time.
oh man I was there, this was fun. Caffeine into Evidence was all I could've asked for.
Its nice to see the younger generation get down with this and actually watching and listening not just slam dancing.
exactly, im 17 but 98% of my generation still doesnt know about fnm, which is kinda sad
@@DeutscheDemokratischeRepublik 17 year old black girl here, FNM is my second favorite band of rock
18 yo here! 🙌
I still wish more people of my age would care (a lot) about FNM and rock in general...
Just awesome, my dad really loved them and now I'm crazy about them too!
I just got done watching this amazing FAITH NO MORE Show @ THE FILLMORE in DETROIT, MICHIGAN . i totally enjoyed every second of it ,I was headbanging by myself , I loved the Crowd also, they were into it just like the Band deserves it ... MIKE PATTON much Respect for Him and the Band of course. i always loved their Music. So glad that I've seen them live in NEW HAVEN , CT during their EPIC Tour 1990 and then in FORT LAUDERDALE, FL during their THIEF FOR A LIFETIME Tour.
My first experience with Faith No More was in 1991 (age 13) - on VHS Live at Brixton Academy. This is my first "new" Concert that I saw of them. Would can I say? I'm getting older, they're getting older, but they are still so fucking good!!!! Thank you Guys!
Happy 43rd Birthday!! Hope you are still listening? ;)
i saw a comment on YT where they said they bought a faith no more concert on vhs at a garage sale for 2 bucks..didn't know of them till they watched the tape, became a huge fan, and had eevery thing on the tape memorized...
I'm 47 yo, so I was live it, many times, here in Brazil, better time of my life, very good see it again.
who the hell turned down the volume of that great bass player ?? !!!! FUCK !!
I think that Mike Patton sings from his soul,he is a special
I don't know how to say this without hyperbole but this is probably my favorite group.
Pattons live vocals are very strong. Excellent singer.
I love how Billy Gould gives his all on bass,
Up to this day, one of the best shows I ever saw was Faith No More at the Warfield way back in early 90s. These guys still rock pretty heavy when they want to.
One of the best live on you tube, no doubt !
Phenomenal. Faith No More has to be o ne of the most versatile rock bands ever.
I was there. It was everything you think it was. Best crowd I've ever been in; down front, and somewhere towards the middle third my sweaty blind as a bat glasses flew off. (Because yes, I was stupid and didn't think I needed a strap) Like the Red Sea, the crowd of very active fans *parted* when I yelled something dumb like: oh no, my glasses.
Tl;dr: as they themselves said, we were a rowdy bunch.
Best fans; best band. They've got it all.
If you're watching it; you already know. If you know someone who doesn't; turn 'em on. Faith No More is a treasure.
One of the very best times of my life was being at this show. All about 15:30 i'll never listen to that song again without singing that.
i was there with my brother.....
last time i saw FNM was 1995, during King for a Day tour!!!
AWESOME!!!! EFFFN show!!!
FNM encapsulates the human experience. The anger, frustration, melancholy, love, passion, beauty and tragedy.....
The beginning was my favorite..so slow, heavy and deep....Patton just bringing the music to life with his body language
So good...but am I one of the few who really likes A Small Victory and wonder why they never seem to play it? Does the band hate it?
I LOVE that song, never heard it live
Its very rare but they do play it occasionally. I love it too
They played A Small Victory a lot when they toured after releasing Angeldust, but after king for a Day they seemed to ditch it. I know, shame, great song
i LOVE that song. one of the best!!
Awesome I feel like I'm a teenager again. I loved them back in the day and was extra shocked to see them coming back looks like they are coming back strong. Heck Ya....Thanks for posting...
Got tickets to their Manchester, UK gig next year! Can't wait!
I think I’m going to the same show? haha
@@axlsleftnut1136 I can't remember which day it has been moved to next year haha but was originally meant to be 10th of June
quel bonheur. Ce groupe m'a mis la rage ado... J'ai vieilli mais je dodeline de la tête avec plaisir. CA ce fut et c'est toujours un groupe qui a inventé une musique
great to see these guys play again. Poor old Chuck. He isn't the vocalist he used to be. Not even sure he knew the words. But still a great overall show. Mikes voice is sounding great!
Watched this live online on the Friday, then saw them the next night in person in Toronto. Awesome weekend!
Esto merece un buen vino al llegar a casa....gracias por subir esta maravilla

Dude, this is great fukn upload, thanks man, great show
And to those of you saying the crowd was dead or quiet...what people don't realize is that the audio was purposely turned down for the sound on the audience because it's you know...all about the band lol. It's called sound editing and it's a thing. I was there. There wasn't a single ass in a seat. Everyone was going nuts, singing every song.
El mejor frontman que existe ! larga vida a FNM !
Absolutely Adore this, thanks for uploading its made my night :)
FNM Forever
Thanks for sharing this!
ImThatGuy813 You're welcome! Greetings, Fnm4ever
Alguém sabe me responder o que s ignificam essas contas (colares)? Mike usa às vezes um lenço vermelho e contas com 'pedras' brancas e vermelhas também. Esses elementos são de candomblé?
fnm 4evr indeed! Thnks 4 posting!
One of the best bands in my shitty fifty years of existence.
such range and diversity...i even got into tomahawk and mr bungle... good stuff... especially the nice guy demo
Awesome performance especially on "Spirit" which is one of my favourites in Introduce Yourself album!
GRANDE HUMAN BOMB MOSLEY Y FNM!!!!
1 of my Favorite bands just refreshed my love for Mike Patton and crew!
You just made me 18 again thanks 🥰
Considering all of Patton side projects I will always love faith no more! Love that voice!
Mike is fucking crazy...and I love him!
Yes,I love Faith no More so much, this band is soo great it's almost unreal

CUÁNTA PERFECCIÓN! UNO DE LOS MEJORES RECITALES DE MI VIDA ♥
God damn, i was about to search Hall and Oates and then Everythings Ruined started.....
Great bands never age!!!
Mike Patton's voice is f-ing AMAZING! Love the energy the music and band have on stage! And love Mike's "I'm going to kill you look" at the camera! hahahaha :)
I love it when Mike, and the rest, get playful. Makes them even more cool.
omg, started when I was 15yr old, given a lifetime of relief! fkn thanks
A unique balance of power, absurdity and a hint of menace!
David:
For real---that whole show was good--I love how they went from hard-core metal rockers to slow pop songs to whatever the hell else they wanted to play, lol. And that pretty much describes Patton's stage presence in a nutshell---I would add unpredictable in terms of his performance, too.
Perhaps their best show I've seen so far
Patton is king of vocal art - Best of all time in every genre fullstop. Bordin my personal hero.
this was one of the best sounding live shows i've been to, vid doesn't do it justice at all, they sounded so good
Mike D if you listen close you can hear my mind being blown when they started into surprise your'e dead fuck yeah
thank you Chuck for showing us why you're kicked out the band.

People's voices change and get weaker as they age but mike is still holding up well even after all these years :D good on you Mike
Sometimes Mike Patton has hints of Oderus Urungus in his voice.
