Land cruiser is the ultimate off-roader. Lexus LX570 is the luxury option but prices are almost comparable. I wonder sometime that while introducing so many electronic features perhaps you will not get the same reliability from 80-90’s Land Cruisers. My 75th edition Jeep Wrangler is 5+ years old with 58,000 miles on it. I have only changed one part so far which was failed ABS sensor couple of weeks ago. Land Cruiser was my first choice but there was $40,000 price difference:(

i got a chance to drive one of this family from 1995, 4litre patrol with automatic and 4wd drive option as well. that had 450000+ on odometer and it drove effortlessly on good and bad roads. never seen or driven anything 25 years old with so many km on and driving still smooth and comfortly.

Black vents at the front make the grill look too heavy. Interior is spot on. The speedo shows up to 260km/h Yeah Right. Engine would need at least at 800hp to move that hulking mass that fast! Upgrades are are very impressive. We'll see how the final renders look like in steel and plastics.
The only thing Im not happy with is the disappearance of the hand break. There is no way you can stop the car when in great need such as an emergency. I wish they did not remove it. Hello Toyota, what say you?

The difference is people will pay a lot for a BMW than for a Toyota. Not saying it's justified, but that's the reality of marketing.
The BMW wouldn't last over 84,000 miles. Toyota will get you 500,000 assuming you don't run it into the ground.
