    Sir Masestro... Mejo magulo talaga yan SPP natin about sa Design and build n yan pagdating na sa actual practice e. Kasi may mga clients na ayaw sa system ntin about jan s D&B practice ntin kasi mas costly nga nmn kung magbabayad sya ng Certain percentage para sa architect for Design and build by management then may certain percentage din para sa contractor's profit. Then may mga clients din talaga n mas prefer nila at mas tiwala na ung architect n din ang kumontrata ng project kasi wala n sila time for frequent disbursement ng pera para sa materials purchasing , sa payroll and so on. Kasi same din lang nmn na yung professional fee mo at ung contractor's profit, sa total construction cost din nkabase. Then ung sinasabing vested or conflict of interest.. sa tingin ko lahat nmn cguro ng architect ayaw din ng masisira sila sa client nila e...Sorry po for my tele-novela like comment..point of view ko lang po..hehe

    maestro. the concept of 50 50 saving should also be applicable to 50/50 responsibilities pag lumagpas. hati rin sila sa excess. anyway nasabi ng spp na not exceeding the fees of the architect. does it mean pag lumagpas doon sa 10% that would be compensated by the fees of the architect. at pag umexceed pa doon sa equivalent fee, ibig bang sabihin client na ang excess? walang nakadetail masyado.

      @@arbl6621 that's precisely what the spp says, but in actual practice Client will not agree on that considering that you make a guarantee to the maximum cost it may take. The SPP is for our protection, but if the contract agreed upon deviate, the contract is the law between parties that will suffice. But if the Client agree on the provision of the 2010 SPP then it's good for the Architect.

      @Ma3stro-752 at the end of the day. Yong pagkakaiba ng professional service sa contracting 60 percent up of the benifit kay client. Kay most architect naging contrqctor

      @@soliquid197 nice question. Sana masagot tong matagal ng katanungan. Kasi all we know both engineers at architects can design build but doon lang sa structure kum saan sila ang prime like architect for building and engineers for civil and other engineering or non building projects kung saan sila pinakaexpert. Kasi if allowed mag cross ng expertise eh magdesign build narin tayo ng non building projects.

    Maestro question lang, pag po ba GMC need pa din ba mag-submit ng Estimates kay Client?

      @@auroch26199 yes. Dahil ikaw pa din mag administer ng works and mag purchase ng materials and procure ng labor in behalf of the Client in a fiduciary capacity.
