I was in silver 2 for months, but then I just decided to think about what I was doing. I would study maps, study why I died, and just practiced aim. Fl0m is obvi right about it not being the right mindset, and I know why this guy is in it. People who care about us push us to do other things, because maybe this inst the most financially secure thing. But money is NEVER what's important, you may need it to live but at the end of the day its just a human creation, and you should always follow your passion. The money will come if the passion is there. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
I was DMG-LE in 2015-2016 quit playing the game for a few years, just a couple comps for fun here and there. Get deranked all the way down to silver 3. Started playing seriously again during quarantine with my boys. Took probably 3 weeks to get from s3 to Nova. It wasn't bad per say but often times did I get games where I felt like these guys are cheating, check the demo to see most the times they actually were. And for the most part I felt like I was playing people in the same position as us, people who used to play but haven't in a long time. This is why I feel like playing in silver in 2020 is not really playing in silver at all. Rarely did I get a game where everybody was actually "silver" level. Maybe I'm just bad and every new player is better at the game now or something.
dude how can he see the other teams rank at the end of the game, i used to be able to see it back in 2016 but after coming back to the game when i press tab after we win or lose i can only see my rank and not my teammates or the enemy team
I don't think you understand casual. there's lots of players who just wanna play the game alone and not have to worry about objectives so much. casual mode that mirrors comp minus rank would mean people getting shat on and teammates getting toxic because they expect you to play the game the same way as in comp. imho the games have to be different.
How often do you get cheaters? Seem to be more or less nonexistent on OC servers. For people wanting to rank; mvps seem to contribute the most to ranking up, so stop throwing away bomb at the start of the round as planting it is basically equivalent of a triple kill.
I struggled to rank up in low trust. My trust raised and I climbed 6 ranks in a week. It can hold you back if you arent really good at the game. I'm no where near your level and while I played well I couldn't play well enough to consistently win.
Often prefires* Non existent reaction times* Rapidly changing skill ceeling* Flick headshotting all the time* The list goes on. I have about 5 blantant cheaters reported on my personal info, really blantant ones too. Checked the demo after all of them. Sympotms include, but are not limited to, awping through smoke, tracking heads through smoke, wallbanging through multiple walls... None of them banned.
yeah it's really weird , i'm on high trust and sometimes when i q with my friends we get a cheater as a 5 th and they are pretty blatant too , like u can see them tracking people through walls and shit but they never been banned ..
Dont forget younger people also have higher energy levels. The older you get the more naps you want to take and being tired doesnt help you perform well.
for that question at the start, what you said is wrong in my opinion. Many of the pros asked themselves if it was worth it to go pro with their real jobs/careers.
Before i played faceit and esea, i played low trust MM for a good few months and when i started playing again i was about silver 2 and before my most recent break of this game i was dog shit but i got back in and ranked up from silver 2 - silver elite in a little over a week then for the next month i went to mg2 w so many cheaters and being kicked all the time so who ever says i cant rank up cause my team are dog shit
@@jynxcs838 idk it took my longer to get out of silver/gn1 than to get from gn2 to mge simply because I queued solo meaning it was always a complete gamble on who I got on my team
You can get out of silver. It took me a week to get from S2 to Silver Elite. My trust went up as i played more matches. I am positive it will take less than a month to get to GN1
im perfect trust factor supreme and usually theres dont seem to be cheaters but if you look in the demos there seems to be 1 or 2 guys with some soft cheats in like 1/4 of the games
I consider it impossible to rank up solo queue consistently because I had to win 16 games in a row before I ranked up getting 25+ kills a game and the odds getting good team mates 16 games in a row is sooo low
@Hanzen Enriquez how does that disprove what he said in any way? s3 to mg1 is not hard in any way shape or form, and your opponents aswell as you (probably) and your teammates are all bots at the game.
I made a new account to "smurf" (to play with my silver friends) but ended up getting a better rank than my *main* LUL (I got dmg and pretty much all my games had cheaters and griefers/throwers/quitters)
How come your low trust factor? ive been playing hard for about 5 months i started at silver 2 and i bounce back and fourth from silver master and silver elite. but i never been in a low trust factor game besides one time when i invited a friend and it had a message on top of the screen. So i guess my question is do you get in low trust factor games even if you arent low trust factor?
Trust factor has more to do with your general account than CSGO itself. It takes into account what games you've bought, how many hours you have in them, how old the acc is, how socially active you are, who your friends are etc. etc. this fl0m's account is probably barren so it's low TF.
i dont understand the mindset of the less skilled players in this comment section, if youre stuck in a rank it means you belong in that rank until you can get out of it. its not your teammates holding you back. it never is. the only reason you would be stuck in a rank is a bad trust factor, which would place you with and against toxic players and cheaters, but if you have a low trust factor it is most likely your own fault. ... i have a low trust factor so i would know
the entire thing about not ranking up from cheaters and smurfs or teamates is hard because if you have lets say a 60% win rate thats really good and u will be ranking up but if 1 of every 10 games you get a cheater smurf or terrible teamates is very likely to happen 1/10 times so now your win rate is no higher then 50% and u wont rank up
It's sad how many CS players that have tiny egos play this game and toggle after a couple rounds of getting dicked by someone who is just better and they can't take it.
Flom if you learn in silver your account will get broken in no time. The game will think it has your rank figured out and it will stick you there, and make it super impossible to rank up; even after sprees of wins. For some its like 25 wins + in a row to rank up once.
Yeah I deranked my acc from global to gold 1 and it took so long, well only the top ranks, global-supreme was 18 losses, supreme to lem was 25 and lem to eagle was 40. My account was locked and super hard to rank down, this game does have rank lock
Well its shit to solo q. I played alone from nova 3 to LEM and then you can't solo anymore because of people grieving/trolling/leaving or low level teammates just playing against stacked teams.
Teammates 100% dictate ability to rank up. Hit level 5 on faceit but non of my friends wanted to Q anymore so I solo Q and lost 8 games in a row, back to level 3 :(
It's not impossible, if you are an ex-pro at cs:go. If you are an ex-pro at any other game and try CS:Go, you're run off within a year. Even when you do get high rank, the amount of reports you get for your good games combined with the 0-com +9 cheater games where the only person reported is the non cheater, the game becomes unplayable. Anyone worth a damn can rank out of silver. Once you are out of silver, the cheating and gameplay gets somehow worse.
Why would you want to play video games for a living? Chemistry is a rewarding and exciting field. Your passion should really be something that you feel you can't live without. If chemistry is just a job for you and you really want to be an esport pro then you can try games like csgo and starcraft, dota, lol, and if you are an absolutely low reaction time vegetable then you can always try games like hearthstone or chess. Legitimately achieving mastery of a game is just the amount of hours that you put in. You simply cant be an esport pro and have any other profession especially not as serious as chemistry.
@@ivan_says_hi Nah I mean I kinda got that lets say "platonic dream" of becoming a pro. But honestly I wouldnt gamble on that since I actually love chemistry and really enjoy it, just saying that maybe it could be something a could pursue in another circumstances.
@@kejarebi SUUUUURE, when i was at about mge and had a smurf in silver i would literally 50 bomb almost every game, and at that point it just becomes impossible to lose.
Minus the carrying every game part. I don't do that. The cheaters and grifers thing is 100% true from my experience. Either that or team mates that are either plain stupid and probably have down syndrome or dont talk which imo is a huge issue. But it's more of a problem in MG than silver. Heck I always get grifers and I have a good trust factor. Even in fucking danger zone...
I love you dude, but you being able to soloQ and rank up doesn't mean anyone can do it, you're insane at the game and have years of experience. At best you're proving that Smurfing is fun, not solo-queuing in low ranks. I for instance wasted 2 years in silver, anytime I would go play casual or DM people would give me a much higher rank and yet I never made it higher than GN2. I met one friend and made it from silver 3 to GN4 in like 3 weeks just because she was already out of silver. The number of wins you need to actually be out of the silver pit against other silvers is quite insane and frustrating. And I didn't even mention cheaters, griefers and smurfs that literally have fun ruining games.
That sound familiar. I myself got SEM rank in the first 10 matches and kept it for a very long time. I also had this friend who used to be silver 4 for a long time, until he made some "csgo friends" with higher ranks(like GN1 to GNM) and started to play with them more often. He then went from Silver 4 to GN3 in a couple of months and made it to MG not long ago. All this time, I was still in SEM(I stopped playing MM for a while) until he convinced me to play with him and his friends. And ranked up to GN2 after a while. To be honest, we didnt "git gud", we just improved because of the natural learning curve that exists when playing the game frequently... but other than that, we still play more or less like we used to when we were in silver ranks. Except with a lot more in-game hours(= experience = getting better eventually). If anything, what did change was the people we played with(and against). We used to queue together(solo queue when the other couldnt) and play with and again other silvers. Few times I managed to get 10 wins in a row, and still never ranked up. But when we started to play with higher ranks players(and also play against higher ranks players) it took one decent win streak and it got me to GN. Then another and GN2.
I can't get out of Silver. I only queue once or twice a month at best and never practice but it's definitely not my fault.

11:22 fl0m sitting behind a wallbangable wall discussing the blatant cheaters
3:45 this happened to us, all gn1/2 and we get matched with lem in the opposite team ofc
I want to see fl0m start on a fresh non prime account and play bad enough to get S1 and then work his way up. He would see what it is like.
3:23 obviously fl0m didn't get basic arithmetic done before trying to go pro
Huh, just got an upload notification for this today. Only 6 days late; pretty good for youtube lol
dude what is the name of this music? 25:40
check the description.
13 year old me: plays cs in the eating break in quarantine school
17 yea old person: oh shit i have to study for 7 hours now...
edit: typo
I made a new acc with now prime and just wanted to see how bad it was, i played 4 casual games and 3 outa that had ppl spin bot then i took it too MM and every game had at least a 3 to 4 man stack with someone cheating in it. stopped playing after that really quick.
Lol it's a wreck. Also made a new account, just to see how it was. It's either very new people(which I have no problems with, we all start somewhere) or a rage hacker, which always hurts new players. Best wishes to the new players that has to play through that crap.
@@dankhead88 honestly dawg if you watch some of the ppl that put cheating material on youtube they dont rage toggle, they just there doing it to do it.... it really fucking sucks, because in my 3rd game that i was in there was about 2 new ppl who got the game when it was free then just now started to play and then they were faced with a blatant problem, i wish that they would do something with this but its asking too much from a company that feeds you to sharks while asking you to buy skins.
Me sitting here being hard stuck in silver for 2 years meanwhile fl0m got out in like a day
I was in silver 2 for months, but then I just decided to think about what I was doing. I would study maps, study why I died, and just practiced aim. I think the biggest help for me was just using my mic more and communicating everything with me team. I went from silver 2 to nova 2 in less than a week of solo queueing.
Ah, the good ol' days when the Krieg was a useful weapon.
4:34 every single MM game ever played
At 22:17 did his friend say"what the fuck x1no" if so that's me XD
Maybe I'm just bad and every new player is better at the game now or something.
how to get such hud and ui with names is it default ? or custom ?
Blue in your inferno game sounded like Ahrora
dude how can he see the other teams rank at the end of the game, i used to be able to see it back in 2016 but after coming back to the game when i press tab after we win or lose i can only see my rank and not my teammates or the enemy team
If you wait like 10 or so seconds the ranks appear.
I had a feeling that the double dings is some sort of cheating! Thanks for confirming this.
they happen natrually aswell, it isnt a definitive proof that someone is cheating. i used to hit them from time to time with the m4 silenced
double dinks off a spray are sus, but two single taps is more common and not as sus in my opinion.
I don't think you understand casual. there's lots of players who just wanna play the game alone and not have to worry about objectives so much. casual mode that mirrors comp minus rank would mean people getting shat on and teammates getting toxic because they expect you to play the game the same way as in comp. imho the games have to be different.
i once triple dinked with a glock. so they called hacks. guess that's understandable
I've stagnated at LEM, I think I have been close to Supreme once but then we lost.
Ohh boi love the ad there 👍👍👍😁😁😁
hurts to see literaly everyone using esp on a seperate monitor its so hard to unsee now
I mean I'm currently stuck at mg1, because of low trust factor and I am in a slope skill wise. I just dont have the time to improve
I would love to see the cheaters face for real 🤣
I feel like I get a lot of double dinks when using the silenced M4. It might be the recoil pattern I don't know.
Yeah , MJ never though about playing a different sport.
like baseball or something XD
Hi your video is awesome! Nice work!💪
Often prefires*
Non existent reaction times*
Rapidly changing skill ceeling*
Flick headshotting all the time*
The list goes on.
3:32 100-44=66 ^^ math 100%!
16:38 I actually shouted *OOH* as well that was smooth
why is flom playing on these new accounts did he get banned?
Hey @fl0m i have low trust factor because i am good and i keep getting reported and i dont know how to boost my trust factor do you know how?
lilakvert stop cheating and it’ll slowly go up
Thx but I’m not tho I have 1.5k hours in cs and master guardian 1 and if I kill one person I get reported
@Unkown Glitch thx man that’s kinda what it has come down to it when I thought about it.

Kill 40+ go overwatch ez trust factor reset buoi
to this day, we still don't know what ninja did
for that question at the start, what you said is wrong in my opinion. Many of the pros asked themselves if it was worth it to go pro with their real jobs/careers.
and to tell the kid to give up is kinda fucked imo
fl0m inspired me to push my rank
Crosshair?
Its not just the cheaters that makes it hard. Its the smurfers aswell haha.
Bro one thing about ppl are asking about going pro they have a lack of knowledge
Before i played faceit and esea, i played low trust MM for a good few months and when i started playing again i was about silver 2 and before my most recent break of this game i was dog shit but i got back in and ranked up from silver 2 - silver elite in a little over a week then for the next month i went to mg2 w so many cheaters and being kicked all the time so who ever says i cant rank up cause my team are dog shit
ruclips.net/video/OxAukjr0V80/видео.html dude made it to LEM after 1000 hours in silver. Not the same for everyone but can be a tough time
REVILO tionary dude silver is so ez to get out of even if you’re shit at the game. just play your best and you’ll get to at least nova
JynxCS like I said it depends. If you read other comments not everyone has had the same experience as u
@@jynxcs838 idk it took my longer to get out of silver/gn1 than to get from gn2 to mge simply because I queued solo meaning it was always a complete gamble on who I got on my team
It’s not the cheating or the greafing it’s the fucking baiters that think they are good. They are the worst.
His trust factor could go down playing with you
I consider it impossible to rank up solo queue consistently because I had to win 16 games in a row before I ranked up getting 25+ kills a game and the odds getting good team mates 16 games in a row is sooo low
@Hanzen Enriquez how does that disprove what he said in any way? s3 to mg1 is not hard in any way shape or form, and your opponents aswell as you (probably) and your teammates are all bots at the game.
I made a new account to "smurf" (to play with my silver friends) but ended up getting a better rank than my *main* LUL (I got dmg and pretty much all my games had cheaters and griefers/throwers/quitters)
well if you jsut made a new account its propably not prime right?
@@Apokalypse456 I bought prime
@@Apokalypse456 but still got low trust
How come your low trust factor? ive been playing hard for about 5 months i started at silver 2 and i bounce back and fourth from silver master and silver elite. but i never been in a low trust factor game besides one time when i invited a friend and it had a message on top of the screen. So i guess my question is do you get in low trust factor games even if you arent low trust factor?
Trust factor has more to do with your general account than CSGO itself. It takes into account what games you've bought, how many hours you have in them, how old the acc is, how socially active you are, who your friends are etc. etc. this fl0m's account is probably barren so it's low TF.
i dont understand the mindset of the less skilled players in this comment section, if youre stuck in a rank it means you belong in that rank until you can get out of it. its not your teammates holding you back. it never is. the only reason you would be stuck in a rank is a bad trust factor, which would place you with and against toxic players and cheaters, but if you have a low trust factor it is most likely your own fault.
... i have a low trust factor so i would know
What is double dinks?
When u use m4a1 and Headshot the enemy twice
@@meowtrox1234 Thanks
Can you do a cypher guide for valorant? I've watched a lot of your streams so I know some stuff but not all
the entire thing about not ranking up from cheaters and smurfs or teamates is hard because if you have lets say a 60% win rate thats really good and u will be ranking up but if 1 of every 10 games you get a cheater smurf or terrible teamates is very likely to happen 1/10 times so now your win rate is no higher then 50% and u wont rank up
It's sad how many CS players that have tiny egos play this game and toggle after a couple rounds of getting dicked by someone who is just better and they can't take it.
Hit for 44.... he has 66 HP left :D
when i was small bac then when i never took cs serious i js played for fun it used to be way better than i am now
Flom if you learn in silver your account will get broken in no time.
Getting banned in CS is just the prestige system on Twitch and CS
That's the real scenario in CSGO these days.. MM only hackers playing... A really unpleasant experience.
@Hanzen Enriquez Nah, reached level 10 FACEIT, just telling the truth
As some one who isn't on the same level as you I find it difficult to solo que because I am not the person who can carry every game
Well its shit to solo q. I played alone from nova 3 to LEM and then you can't solo anymore because of people grieving/trolling/leaving or low level teammates just playing against stacked teams.
Imagine cheating and still loosing rounds and the game, this is kinda sad. At this point I feel bad for how shit they are at the game
16:47 wrong guy man! :(
Trying to get out of MG solo queue in asian mm is a nightmare.
HK server
Teammates 100% dictate ability to rank up. Hit level 5 on faceit but non of my friends wanted to Q anymore so I solo Q and lost 8 games in a row, back to level 3 :(
boosted lmao, also its easier to play with premates since youre all in the same mindset
i make tripple or quad dinks sometimes and 2time every match m4a1s lmao
It's not impossible, if you are an ex-pro at cs:go.
If you are an ex-pro at any other game and try CS:Go, you're run off within a year. Even when you do get high rank, the amount of reports you get for your good games combined with the 0-com +9 cheater games where the only person reported is the non cheater, the game becomes unplayable.
Anyone worth a damn can rank out of silver. Once you are out of silver, the cheating and gameplay gets somehow worse.
wish i grew up without responsibilities.
THE BONG WIZARD STARTED ROLLING
I usually top frag in silver 2 but I see how I don’t rank up, I suck at the game
Playing with cheaters and still buying awps all game smh the lack of effort is stunning
Being a 16 year old (DMG). Who has no time to dedicate due to boarding school. You don't really see playing for a team as a valid option.
I wish I could go pro on any game I would like but going for a degree in chemistry doesn’t leave much time to really polish a game enough to go pro.
The fact that people still disconnect to activate cheats in 2020 lol
I genuinely think Silver is the hardest rank to get out of simply because of all the good players stuck in it.
I would beg to differ. The mg's are way harder with literally everyone smurfing there
@@freen773 I don't know man I'm able to top frag with my mge friends while stuck in sem
@@kejarebi SUUUUURE, when i was at about mge and had a smurf in silver i would literally 50 bomb almost every game, and at that point it just becomes impossible to lose.
Number one: watch fl0m
i dont understand how did he get such a high rank even after being in a low trusr factor??
Hes just good xd. And I am super low trust and got mge after 10 so ...
Just play better than your opponents that's all.
Trust factor and rank literally have nothing to do with each other
i played 2 games with my friend who's low trust factor both times cheaters one was a spinbot
No one is better than me I’m just having a off day
take a shot every time he says 'double dink' :P
Your ability to learn and pick up new things decreases dramatically from 12 till 20 though.
