Todays explore has taken me 1 year to get in and film.. this millionaires mansion is not abandoned and through gerat peopel in the national trust allowed me to share the passion of one lady to reatore and maintin this stunning building, but sadly she couldn’t cope with the rate of problems occurring and now its been taken over to findish of what she started. I hope tou enjoy this as much as we did.

What happened to Cornelia? Theres supposed to be a team of people in the community keeping up on the house after she passed away.

Omg 😱 the moaning sounds and childish giggling & distint words- This place is incredible on so many accounts ! The work this lady has put in is a sign of total dedication. Thank god for organizations like National Trust and English heritage. And THANK YOU for trying to help get this place preserved. A true gem !

I saw this house on obsessive compulsive cleaners. I remember the lady who owned it wouldn't let them use modern cleaning products. She was great. 👍🏻

I’m in awe of this explore. This beautiful mansion is unbelievable. The history is captivating. The woman’s caring and how’s she sowed curtains and four post bed drapes is incredible. I hope it stays kept up and the ceilings refurbished. Maybe it could become an historical tourist stop to have tous to earn money for it’s upkeep. Just a suggestion. I love this.
A home this old has seen the entire human experience. It will have a life of its own, including memories. The house wants to be loved. My much younger, far less grand home came with its own memories.
I'm very mesmerized by the beauty of this mansion. I'm so glad it is now protected by the National Trust ,there is one thing however, when you asked somebody to close the children's door I can hear a child's voice saying "no" and other anomalies. Is it because I'm wearing headphones and you've recorded something you couldn't hear while you were there? Keep up the good work, and god bless the lady who restored this mansion.

I think a key part of its beauty is that it also feels welcoming. It has over 400 years worth of stories it want to tell!

Watching this again, it's such a stunning place ! It's got such style and grace in every inch of the property. It's not something you see everyday and as a time served machinist you can see the work she's done. Thanks heavens it's being saved.

Loved the video, Dave you don't need a spirit box or any machines, you seem to attract spirits, there was a ladies vioce in the twin bed room and a vioce said no when you asked it to close the door, what a lovely house and power to the owner

Wow Dave. This was probably the best explore I have ever seen. So glad you are still doing them, life just wouldn’t be the same without AWE. When you are by the side of the bed andask if there’s a Dorothy, Emily, Jack or Judge , there is definitely a little girls voice laughing. When you played it back, you said it sounded like somebody said get out. Please play back again as that little girls voice laugh was very clear xx

Please note that the house is privately owned and is a private home. There are several private signs situated at the gates and around the estate, along with CCTV.

You mentioned that you met somebody from the national trust, but it’s a private home so nobody from the national trust are at the property.
@@plasteg1230 it was a lady who cares for her I went in June 2021. We also took the Owner shopping and food. The lady turned up with mcdonads for the owner. I have more on the video such as chatting with the owner and stuff I asked to interview but I felt I went in 2010 and didn't feel was fair to show the owner.
Also meant I was told it will be going to the nation trust
@@AWE83 potentially in the distant future. However your description says national trust gave you permission to share, but they didn’t as they wouldn’t be at the property due to the property being a privately owned home and not with the national trust.
We do appreciate that, but the video being shared on such a large scale could cause major distress to the owner.
I very much appreciate your efforts made to allow people to see such amazing places and things. Id like to suggest, that you might keep in mind, while filming you tend to pan the surroundings so quickly a rate. The detail are most often a BLUR. Possibly slow your hand, not so much your feet, to keep within your planned time frame. Allowing viewers to actually see in better detail, giving a greater feeling of satisfaction overall at the conclusion. Making it time well spent from the Viewer’s perspective. Once again noble effort!

Dave, I saw this and my heart sank. I thought...how could it be? Abandoned? Did that owner die? But am glad to hear she is alive but has gotten help. I remember this being on the Show Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners a few years ago. Plas Teg is the name of this castle, it is an amazing place! Basically frozen in time. I am so glad it will continue to be restored for history sake. Cornelia who owns it seems like a nice lady with her accuracy for being historically authentic. If I make it to the UK on day I would love to visit PlasTeg. Thanks for sharing this with us. :)
The time traveler… Is this the estate that Ruth Watson was invited to by the owner to find a way to turn it into a lucrative open house scheme?…this was years ago … the estate is in Wales from memory… Ruth went to many estates to give the owners financial advice… her links may still be on the tube

I have seen the main entrance on a program about cleaning and wondered what the rest of the house looked like. I think the lady does ghost hunts if I remember rightly?!?

I think she allows ghost hunts mainly to fund costs of the property maintenance, she’s very particular about where people are allowed in the property and very protective over it she’s such an eccentric woman but very caring, but this property definitely needs NationalTrust assistance for its future. 😊
I'm not surprised she's careful, living alone with all of those precious things she collected around her home. Its a pity the National Trust can't help out now before it's to late. Looks like there is an awful lot of maintenance needed.

Also, @Abandoned World Explorer there's quite a few evp's being said, or rather inaudible sounds, especially when you're in front of the children's beds. Also I heard a female voice say no when you asked them to close the door again. I'm sure you noticed it during editing, I just wanted to point it out. They came through so clearly.
Love love love this one! This home is gorgeous as well as the collection inside. So glad to hear that it will be saved. That being said my hubby and I were disappointed that you didn’t show close ups of the furniture in the oriental style room, the one with the unique shower and tub. Sometimes you move the camera too fast through the rooms. Maybe you could do a slow pan and zoom in on some of the pieces? You seemed drawn back to the children’s room more then any other, did you feel a connection in that room? Loved that gaming table with the hinge, what a unique piece. We love what you do and hope you get the likes you need to stay overnight there. Curious to see if there are spirits who will communicate with you. Keep exploring, it’s not worth it to stop. This is an absolute beautiful mansion🥰 I hope it gets saved I hope it turns into a bed-and-breakfast or even a museum . I would love to come visit.💗You should take pictures and sell them and the proceeds go to them.
Looking around at the amount of furniture, gallery paintings, porcelain objects etc, could some of these types of items be auctioned to help repair the estate? There seems to be an unusually large amount of them collected to fill the home but might not necessarily been that many of each. I'd love to spend an entire weekend in that home, I've loved these types of Victorian homes all my life. Would love it if your were to give a tour of the grounds and out buildings. Did you say she's still alive or has donated it to the National Trust? Mirrors are gateways for the spirits to come through into our realm. I'd willingly donate my time to restoration projects if I lived in the area. this to me feels like a Castle, sure wished the owner could have walked with us on the tour. The grounds are incredible and yes I could spend my whole life there as well my friend, it truly a stunning place.
WOW! that was a beautiful place as you were walking through the place describing everything I felt I like I could smell the odor of a old museum. I don't know if you noticed, but after you picked up the glass from the floor and went back in the same room later the glass was back on the floor. Also at 16:00 when you were using the recorder I heard a voice say something and I though I heard children talking, than at 19:31 I heard the door close and after you turned off the instrument that sound like a radio I heard a child's voice say something like "out". Thank you so much for sharing this explore and I hope we get to see Mark back on the next one.

this house is beautiful I'm so glad the lady has taken the time to look after it and try to take it back to its former glory, its amazing the national trust are going to look after it, I've been a member for years because I love the work they do for amazing old buildings, this house isn't too far from me so hopefully one day I'll be able to visit when its in their care

Dave and Mark this is an amazing place It seems in 40yrs a person can get a lot done Although i see the roof is in need of repair No matter what you do and how you do it it seems to never be enough time And Alot of things in a casel can never be done by one personJust think to cut the grass do trimming take care of plants I can only say that lady took the responsibility to dedicate her life and her life savings to keep history alive Their should be a way for her to get government grants or other ways to get free money to keep a 500 year old cassel in some kind of repair The Cassel was beautiful and you did a great job videoing it

Mr/Missus YT algorithm, I watched the whole thing from start to finish and it is an amazing place...a bit spooky maybe....but beautiful. Elizabeth Frances Trevor-Roper killed herself in 1815 by throwing herself into the well. Like Dorothy, she was only 16 years old. In Elizabeth’s case, a duel was held to determine who she was to marry. The man she loved lost the duel. Elizabeth got very upset, and she fled the house, killing herself by throwing herself in the well. Many have witnessed a ghostly man chasing after a ghostly woman through the house. She screams and cries, and he’s injured on one shoulder, bleeding from a gaping wound.
