i have an Sr350. Yes, well documented it doesn't hit 350fps... jeez, get over it. If they called it any other name it wouldn't get the negativity it has. It shoots excellent and is a fantastic choice. I shoot my bow at 70 lbs, 28 DL with a 442 grain arrow= 273 fps... plenty fast. Thanks for the review!
Hope you can get your blood pressure down, Steven. Life is stressful at the best of times. Take it easy and do whatever is needed to get our health back on track. Nothing is more important.
Will be praying for you that you can get your blood pressure under control my friend. I love your reviews! You do a Great job with them. I have a SR 350 and I Absolutely love it! I wanted a Hoyt but I walked out with a Bowtech, it just fit me better. GOD Bless!!!
These SR350 bows not only don't they come close to 350fps, they require cable replacement more often because they fray the bloody things. Wanted to buy one but the Ventum 33 won out.
Codswallop ! In Performance, 30"/70#/350gr. - 348 FPS; Multiple Reviews. I've shot THOUSANDS of arrows through that Dream Boat - NOT A SINGLE FRAY on the Cables !! You never shot the SR350 son, cause if you did you most assuredly wouldn't have left with the Ventum. Done and Dusted. Hope it Helps, John
I seen multiple reviews from people that were getting terrible numbers as you stated which is a big miss for Bowtech, but I have also seen videos where it is within 2 of spec and exceeds spec at heavier arrows. My personal one exceeds spec with my setup, 505g at 28" at 280fps (spec is 273). I shot it next to an EVO XF and both shot great, but the tunability of Bowtech is hard to beat, only Elite is even comparable. As for the cables, anyone having issues definitely needs to work with their string maker because I have put mine through 1200+ shots (all on performance) and in the elements hunting and other than some color fade, they are still perfect. That performance mod on this 350 is darn near a 90 deg bend, so it's definitely harder than normal, but I would say fraying is happening because it's probably out of tune and rubbing where it shouldn't or the strings were sub-par.
@quantumeraser4833 multiple reviews making speed? I haven't seen one yet. Why don't you do a video and post up to RUclips so Bowtech can have one that makes specs. Show your arrow weight, bow weight, and chrono. That would be awesome. Because so far I haven't seen one review that wasn't 10 to 12 fps slow.
I was also a PSE full throttle owner. It wasn't an easy bow to shoot. The dealer I purchased it from said I was the only person to purchase one lol. That's how rough it was. It was replaced with a Hoyt RX-4 Turbo and now a Hoyt RX-7 but I go shoot all the new bows and the bowtechs really impress me. I'll probably purchase a bowtech next year.
If you’re having BP problem don’t waste time with a GP. Find a cardiologist ASAP. Preferably one that’s been around your area for a while. Tell him/her you want tests performed. There’s several tests they can do and very possibly find the root cause. Been there done that. DONT WAIT-
Hi Steven, I heard you say you have a PSE Full Throttle. Do you know the string and cable lengths for it? I need to make string and cables for it. Thanks and keep getting well!
Probably a reasonable bow for what it is. Witnessed some unforgettable quality reliability issues with Bowtech, so at the specs, there are other bows to consider first. If interested in the ease of tuning & adjustment technology, Elite every time.
Oh really, and what were those quality reliability issues that you "witnessed"? Every bow manufacturer has a few lemons but... since 2018 is definitely in the conversation for best reliability, performance, durability, ease of tuning, and design. I don't know if you work in the industry, maybe you do maybe you don't. Im the head bow technician at a pro shop in WA state, we sell all the major players and the only time a bowtech comes in the store is to replace worn strings. Because of my job I've been blessed to have shot a lot of bows and when a company can produce a bow that enables me to draw 70# as if it were 50. Call me a fanboy if you want, and yeah I probably am but that's just because BowTech is a cut above the rest.
Thank goodness Steven,...I thought you were going to do an review on the New Subaru Impreza "RS" in which Subaru just got rid of the "manual transmission line". 😳,....My bad I just bought an car, any idea what I got LoL 😂.......I'll be praying for your blood pressure. 🏹🤠👍
I can not believe you’ve been in this new building for months and have not set up an excellent range. With adjustable lighting etc etc. if not for these videos for your own shooting. I know you shoot so much for staying in shape but seeing the target is somewhat important lol.
You know Steven everytime I watch you do a review of a BowTech I always am crossing my fingers hoping you'll come over to the dark side 😂😂 just admit it BT at this moment has the smoothest and best shooting bows on the market and they are the easiest to tune.
My favorite reviewer, I love how in depth your reviews are and your such a likable guy, best of luck with your health my guy

Yep, only 348 FPS (Performance).

Take care of your health! Without that we have nothing. LOVE all your reviews. Good luck and keep up the great work.

ss34 review ?
My blood pressure would be high too with all the de limbed bows that roll into your shop every week.

Sounds like you did your homework first. Can only guess that you also shot both before buying. 🏹🤠👍

When are you going to review the new Gen2 Reckoning?
Can't wait for you to get some of the Gen 2 Reckoning.

What's happening with your old warehouse?
The old warehouse became a shooting range of 5 months. Then I rented the store to a Mechanic.
USA price …

You would think someone would start make bows in Australia.
