      I could also see myself living on it, however some families these days, during the middle of a rental crisis here in Australia find that a single carport shed is on offer by total scumbags for $300 per week!
      I love watching these tours but it should always be remembered that typically only multi millionaires can afford such opulence before the great equaliser, aka death, still gets them!
      These are great but not necessary!

    I believe this yacht well demonstrates how yachts will be designed in the near future. When electricity replaces diesel as the main power, yachts of all sizes don't need a huge engine room to interfere with the accomodation below deck. The designers can install electric motors which are a lot smaller and quieter than diesel engines in the back while packing all the generators in the bow area.
    VIP clients no longer need to sleep in the bow section putting up with all the slapping noise and the weight is distributed evenly across the boat.

    • @kulaak-krii
      @kulaak-krii 10 месяцев назад +3

      And there's no way to power them without diesel. You do understand they're DIESEL electric right? Meaning the generators create electricity by burning diesel.

    • @constantineding8700
      @constantineding8700 10 месяцев назад

      Of course they have to use diesel to fire up those big-ass gents. They are not like cars that can always find a charging station by the road.
      In China, where I live, BYD is the biggest car manufacturer and most of their cars are plug-in hybrid. You don't need to spend a single penny if you use it as a commuter car on daily basis. When you want to go out of the city once in a while, it burns only 4-5 liters per 100km.
      Yes. At certain times, you have to use fossil fuel, like when you want to cross ocean.And it consumes far less than an internal combustion engine.
      When you go day boating, you can totally go green.
      With the technologies of battery getting better and better, the chance you have to get yor gents start would be less and less.
      @@kulaak-krii

    • @kulaak-krii
      @kulaak-krii 10 месяцев назад

      lol electric cars are a passing fad. there's not enough rare earth minerals for them. there's not enough fossil fuel powered electric grid capacity to charge them.

    If I remember rightly, this is the yacht where the giant tender garage / beach club area can then actually be turned into an indoor swimming pool. I can't think of any other yacht of this size that offers an actual swimming pool.
    Considering it's arguably the most standout feature of this yacht, it's a shame it was totally missed!

      Yes, she has a 'float in' garage, and yes, when the tender (a 32' wider dayboat actually) isn't in there, it can be used as a swimming pool.

    Great tour for a great yacht. But... was a tour of, I suppose I could call it the propulsion room not allowed, or forgotten? I would understand if you were overwhelmed by the boat. Because, the thing that I like about your videos is that you enter every space available on the yacht that you are touring. I enjoy the detail of your commentary, and the informative narrative. Your method of presentation is a very good protocol to follow, that when you are forced to adapt, the difference is glaring. If you ever have the opportunity to tour this model of Wider yacht again, I would love to see compartment where the drives are. Thank you for doing these, and I look forward to your next one with anticipation.

    Not my taste but I love how the layout wast completely traditional even just the stairs being over to the side and dayhesds as well made it quite interesting I wish more brands were riskier with interior layout

    Not a fan of the interior layout or design on this one. I was hoping they would utilize the scale for a more open concept.

    For the amount of money these things are, the crew areas don’t need to look like that of a tug boat’s… 😢
