I'm fascinated by the delineation between the classes of motor yachts you bring us. From the smallest of runabouts to spectacular ocean going resorts, each one has its place in the market, and you show us the attributes that make each one desirable. It's great fun being taken on board vessels most of us can only dream of visiting, let alone own. Thank you for the V.I.P tours. I've seen so many of your videos, that I've become quite good at explaining to family members who watch with me, what each part of the ship/boat is and why they are located in that area. Nick, I can only do that because you are very informative and open with your knowledge, so thank you.

Always tickles me to see how the "standard" cabins on these sort of superyachts are fitted out to master cabin standards on a much smaller boat, perhaps even up to as large (or small) as 70ft!
Great tour, as always, albeit a little rushed this time. But tours like this are always a real gem, especially considering how in certain parts of the world, the dealers and broker houses are always too snobbish to allow those who are not yet on their address books to book similar tours. I've really appreciated that. :D

Wow!! Just wow!! I am always surprised how a ship/yacht this big only has 2 washers and 2 dryers for all those people. I count 11 crew and 10 guests. 21 people can make a lot of laundry plus all the other stuff, e.g. napkins, linens, work towels, etc. That poor girl must never sleep!! Greetings from Texas as usual Nick...John B.

You do your tours with so much respect for the owners and the crew and for others on the yacht, you fully deserve to have the opportunity to video these types of amazing yachts. Though we may not always agree with the interior design choices (God those day head sinks), I believe most of us love the boats for what they are. I love the stern of this particular vessel. • @kokomo9764
      @kokomo9764 2 месяца назад

The hull design and basic interior bulkheads are used multiple times, but interior finishes are completely custom to the owner's taste. Steel or aluminum Yachts give the most flexibility as bulkheads can be moved, etc. Composite yachts built in a mold are less expensive but provide the least flexibility. These are called production yachts and are closer to your automobile analogy. However, the volume built is obviously much smaller. CRN will only use this hull design for 5 or 6 yachts. A production yacht may use the same hull design for 15 or 20 boats.

Well done on securing a tour on a Superyacht and hopefully more to come. I think it was okay, I like the way the crew and their operation has ease of access/hidden away almost out of the way. Second I also like the beach club area but would have taken out the steamer room. I would have changed the interiors mostly & colour schemes but overall it was a nice yacht.

The philosophy of this boat is wealthy person/persons with friends get pampered by crew. So for me that is entirely uninteresting. Even if I had $Billion I still wouldn't want this experience. For me owning a boat means piloting the boat myself, it's plotting the course and writing the ship's log, being responsible for the maintenance of all the equipment on board...that is what makes it interesting. I am captain of my vessel. Sitting in a jacuzzi being handed Martinis by deck hands would get very boring after hmm maybe 3 days. So, I found myself fast forwarding this video...the mentality of the boat doesn't do a thing for me. Just saying....as an Aquaholic regular......the smaller to medium sized owner piloted boats are far more inspiring. Love what you do Nick....

At what size of yacht design, does a yacht designer attempt to do anything to allow disabled people to use the boat?
I see lots of way-too-narrow hallways, side passage decks, stairs, and heads that could never fit a wheelchair.
C'mon yachting industry...at 175 feet length, this yacht seems VERY vanilla and uninspired.

  • @gordonsimpson3235

    Enormous Nick.
Not for me though....piloting a boat is the biggest part of ownership for me. No matter how much money I had, I would never go down the 'skippered' route, so i guess 60 foot will always be my limit!
I notice nautical terms drop in superyachts - i.e. Bedroom rather than cabin. Not surprised given the size of the stateroom....you could hardly class it as a 'cabin'!

That kinda yacht doesn't impresse me.
It's just an expensive appartement docked at a marina.
I rather prefer boats with a purpose like fishing boats / catamarans, ferry boats, search & rescue (type RNLI).

So much space on this lovely boat to establish a really good gym? Zwift cycling too and rowing machine, the sportsman’s dream, but it’s not to be. My first concern is no concern at all to another man. A gorgeous boat nonetheless. Some lucky devil can just go buy that with his/her small change, it’s not fair ha ha! They’ll get £600 from the government this year to help them with fuel costs. Laughable, but true!

Incredible review Nick. Would love to see what brand the toiletries are in the guest cabins. Loved the wardrobe doors in the guest cabins, also what’s the yearly running costs of something like this? Asking for when I get my bonus at the end of the year lol( just kidding, I’m not a banker). Seriously disappointed with the galley. Again it’s completely inadequate for 11 crew and 10 guests. It’s obnoxiously something the designers don’t care about.

You do a fabulous job showing every yacht's best; but I have to say the furnishings/decor leaves a lot to be desired for me. Seems plain/basic; for example a mediocre plant in the foyer, not artwork. This yacht seems to just be about size, and not much else.

When you get so wealthy you have absolutely no interest whatsoever in driving it….
Great video, but it is a floating hotel to be seen in. Or not to be seen in, depending on your level of discretion required….
Take me back to those damn near affordable half a million (insert currency of your choice - they’re almost all at parity now, thanks Kwasi…) family vessels…

A brilliant tour and very well thought out.
However, I found this yacht l rather bland and whilst at some level superb unmemorable from one part to another.
It is an example of contemporary design and I think will age rather rapidly.
I look forward to more tours of larger yachts - how about Eclipse if on the market. Interiors designed in my dear Richmond I believe.

I liked the exterior styling, but not the interior. In particular, the wood color did not appeal to me. Also, Italian Minimalist styling is definitely not my thing.
But, good tour Nick! Thank you!

What a yacht! you could get lost on it.
But what I always wonder with this kind of Yacht l is why? The owner is often only on board a few weeks a year. Doesn't this seem like a pretty expensive hobby to me?
But for the builders of this kind of Lyxe toys it is of course wonderful to be able to show what they are capable of. Making dreams come true is their mission. Glad we got to see that.

I really love this craft and I can see you were taken as well. Thanks for the tour mate, but go back and check that door on the hydraulics room. Lever needs to be vertical.

I could see the wife and I having to perminately wear feather duster sock's and gloves if we owned this boat. I would also be bald with the stress considering 90 litres an hour she guzzles...The boat that is, not the wife... Great tour as usual, felt a bit rushed though with being busy, but great none the less ...G...
