I was glad the most negative stereotype I experienced when I came out in 1984 was not on your list in 2022: Gay relationships don't last. This year my husband and I are celebrating our 30th anniversary and my older brother and his husband are celebrating their 50th.
Congratulations to both of you. I hope this stereotype is on the way out.
Congrats
That's so cool 😎
Here, married for 45 year...
Congratulations that is wonderful. ❤❤🎉
Thanks for acknowledging the role that some of us "vintage" gays played in making things easier for your generation. Some of the stereotypes around masculinity/femininity and sex were more common in our era than now
Older gays also made it easier for bisexual men, in the same generation, to come out later in life. So I thank all of you for being on the frontline of those battles. Sorry I couldn't help back then. I regret lacking the courage to do so. I know a lot of you just didn't even have a choice.
We love you vintage guys(and ladies ) too. It’s the buck angels of the older generations that piss us off. 😂 selling out the community that’s still fighting for rights is what really gets us ❤️
Gays are just as diverse as straights. We're ALL human beings, first and foremost. Everyone is different. I'm defined by my heart, inner being, morals and humanity, not my sexuality.
love this👆
You're so right.I constantly kept seeing the question why do men have nipples. They hold no function whatsoever.Rhe reason is we are all the same to the very end.The sexual/reproductive organs are the last things to form.
So if you were a guy and had a twin sister or vice versa, you would be exactly the same till almost birth.
But then:Your tonsils and appendix. What function do they seve. You can live with one lung, and your liver can regrow itself.
Straights? What's that? On what planet do they exist? On planet earth I've never met them
And now I'm thinking of a song by the German band BRINGS: Jeck jeah.
We are all just human beings,
With the heart at the right spot,
We are all just human beings,
And in everyone there's a Kölsche Jeck.
But then in Kölsch, the dialect/language spoken in Cologne, Germany.
And IF you are interested in that song (and you understand Kölsch), herewith:

Well iv never used gay apps, I'm a licensed master mechanic for Volkswagen, I'm verse, love to play lacrosse and drive a manual car. Love your personality and videos keep up the good work.
Honestly I’ve given up on Grindr a decade ago.
Trying to first a Toy 4Runner first gen (2 door removable top) w the 22re and 5-speed myself
@@benjaminlibertarianscorpio unfortunately there's pretty much no other way to meet gay guys
@@thewolfman775 Well unfortunately, I've given up because I gained a lot of weight that I'm trying to lose and I'm not going to go back on until I'm fit because I cant so much as get a response most the time....but yea, when I'm ready, its the only way I'd even know of having the possibility of meeting guys.
@@MH-bw9zt only if u don't have a personality
One stereotype I hear a lot is that we all have feminine voices. I have only ever met like one gay that actually has a high pitch voice.
And some of us have bass voices that will sound like a -cat caught in a reel lawn mower- dying parrot if we try to talk in a high pitch
I have a really deep voice and don't talk in an accent
I feel like Chris has gotten so comfortable in front of the camera compared to his older videos. Keep it up Chris. ❤️
Oh, wow! I'm a retro, vintage gay! I kind of like your choice of words. Seriously, thanks for acknowleging some of our history. 🙏
what do u mean?
@@Muhamedim he means “thanks for recognizing the rights we fought for that help the younger gen gays live a easier life” at least that’s my interpretation. A lot of times us younger folks tend to dismiss EVERY older person just bc they’re old or whatever lol
@@pansexualdickhaver6878 thanks
Stereotype- My one gay friend would be perfect for you to date. Someone if you have 2 gay guys they're instantly compatible and a couple.
I am retired, and with my partner for 30+ years. Everyone who knows me or worked with me knew I was gay. Yet, I still have people say to me you don't act gay. I have to constantly tell them there is not one way to act if you are gay.
I get that all the time.
You don’t look gay…..
You don’t act gay….
I get this from gay men too….which I’m not sure is a compliment 😀😀😀

When J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter) announced that Dumbledore was gay, I wrote a short fanfic where Draco explains to Harry that she helped out the "invisible" (older) gays. Was surprised at how many young-ung liked it.
I’ve heard from straight men that I don’t look like the typical gay guy because I’m not a smooth gym rat. Chubby, bearded gays exist.
@Brandon Lewis, as a guy who is also chubby and bearded, YES, we do exist.
I have also noticed that "Bears" have become much more popular and acknowledged these last few years; of course, so many of us were like, "Took you long enough," but I digress.
I'll click on any video that has a thumb of Chris shirtless. Definitely makes the day a little better.
Agreed!! xxx

Love this video! I would have added in that not all gays like to go clubbing/go to the bars. Gives me too much anxiety 🥴
But all feminine guys are bottom and all masculine men are top that's 100% true
@@levent.a.7280 I really hope you’re being sarcastic. Because that’s very much not true.
@@justinp4702 it's very much true,I've never met a feminine top or a masculine bottom
@@levent.a.7280 Well maybe you’ve never met one…but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
Can’t stand them. (Clubs - bars) It’s assumed you are there for a reason other than to kick back and relax. And if you bring someone new they become fresh meat to all the carnivores.
From the perspective of a "vintage gay", more myths. Some pretty dated.
1/ We exercise a lot and/or are ripped. Bears exist.
2/ We have sophisticated tastes.
3/ (In direct contradiction to 2). We all enjoy dance music. This personally bugged me as a Queer Punk.
4/ We're into drugs and alcohol. (Sadly for the vintage gays partially true. A lot of vintage gays/bis died young connected to drug/alcohol abuse.)
5/ We can't be religious without being closeted or child molesters.
6/ We really want to have a sophisticated female best friend we can go clothes shopping with and compliment a lot on their style. (Once I did go clothes shopping with a female friend. She asked me whether the pants made her ass look big. I commented "LOOK?!"
And this last one was wierd but I've heard a few times.
7/ We don't eat spicy food.
@David Cheater, as a Bear, yes, we do exist.
However, I must address your number 7; I happen to be Cuban, and so many non-Hispanics think that we all make our dishes super spicy. Nothing could be further from the truth. Personally, I do not eat spicy food, but my life partner (who is Gay, male and happens to be Puerto Rican) lives for spicy food. There is a RUclips Channel called "Hot Ones," and it is one of his favorite RUclips Channels.
I have seen him salivate and flare his nostrils at the mention of "ghost pepper."
@@RobertAlvarezThePsychicWitch My family is from Tunisia. We also love spicy food.
It's just a very weird thing that I've seen in a few places.
@@davidcheater4239 Tunisia fascinates me, probably because I know so little about it, but I do know that some countries are known for their spicy food; I know Ethiopia is one, and now I know Tunisia is another.
Great video, Stereotypes are just that, different for everyone I've ever met. My favorite is a guy that says "nobody thinks I'm gay" and doing so while having painted nails and wearing makeup plus speaking with a lisp. But, there you go , that's my stereotype. Then there's the cliques at the clubs, etc. The only one that you mentioned is that we walk fast, stereotype. But every single gay guy that has a rainbow sticker on their car drives like a bat out of hell and I can never catch up to say hi!
This daddy thinks you are smoking hot.
you mentioned the myth of gays aren't good in Math - Alan Turing, a famous gay British Mathematician and creator of computer science. They made a movie about him.
There would be a bill on his name in the U.K this YEAR 🇬🇧
I just found this guy. He’s good. I like his show. From a older gay guy in the wilds of Essex, England. You just heeded me up and thanks for the nod to older gays like my self that paved the way for young LGBTQ+ I’m about to subscribe because you are very interesting and I like to know what’s going on with the young gay community now that I have retired and no longer live in London. It’s good to see the visibility of gay men these days. My goodness how things have changed. When I come out to my family in the 1970’s, I was lucky to have the support of my family but it didn’t stop homophobia outside and they in the 1970’s it was horrendous . I got beat on so many time for being a open young gay man I can’t count on both hands how many black eyes I got. By the 1980’s I had moved from my small town in the north of England and setup n London. It was definitely safer to be a out and visible gay man in London back then than it is now. London is not a safe place for any one, not just the LGBTQ+ community it for everyone. Anyways I wish you all well and happy long gay lives. Take care out there, it can still be a nasty world. Stay safe, no BB or chem sex. Be good and kind to each other. Support your gay brothers and sisters. Build your community. With love and respect.
Hi Chris. Here is my two cents on those stereotypes.
1) Regretfully I've used it. Never again. It's a waste of time and a hassle that no one needs.
2) Nope. ;)
3) I may not be an expert with cars, but I can fix a computer.
4) I've never cared to find out.
5) I've done Kung Fu and Taekwondo in the past. I'm pretty sure martial arts counts as "sport".
6) I can drive, and while I'm not great at math, I'm no idiot.
7) I don't drink coffee. Tea I do drink but very rarely.
8) I'm indifferent to shopping. I don't care for fashion: as long as I feel comfortable, that's all that matters.
9) Politics are awful. They're nothing but useless crap the lot of them!!
10) Like hell we do!
11) Depends on the situation.
12) I have at least once, but that's in the past.
13) Nope.
14) I dyed my hair once and I didn't like it, so I rushed to undo the change. Never again.
15) Complete and utter lie! Don't forget that straight men and women can also be hoes too!
who else looked at their phone for the grindr notification
I turned the notifications off on my iPhone
It gets annoying
@@benjaminlibertarianscorpio but you looked 💁🏻♂️
I am a bottom and I like tea but I don't love shopping. But I did have a crush on my straight friend but he didn't care he knows.
Well Chris, crushes on "straight friends" are pretty common, and cause lots of guys super great pain. Most should really try for that to not happen! ;)
#16 Gays are all skilled at interior decorating, flower arrangements, etc. I legit did not know until recent years that not all gays can decorate. I guess bad taste does not discriminate. ;-)
Back before I became a vintage gay, I used to joke that I cant arrange flowers, I can't do hairstyling, I can't gourmet cook, and (being colorblind) can't interior decorate. I may as well turn in my gay membership card and go str8! 😮 (btw, still holds true tho I'm vintage, just don't use that joke anymore)
Stereotypes are based on averages.
Gay men are better at all those skills than straight men.
That does not mean all gay men are good at those.
My own boyfriend was surprised that I was able to replace the windshield wipers on my car without help. And yes, I find sports to be boring and he loves soccer ( he is from Brazil) but sports loving gays are not like unicorns . Love this video! Thanks!
❤️
While not a huge sports fan, my friends know better than to call me or drop by when my fave football team is playing. It could be hazardous to their hearing! 😂
I'm a 51 year old gay man and I'm a versatile guy who likes to top as much as I like to bottom I can be dominance or submissive depending on the situation and the person

You were pretty on point for most of these. In terms of the Top/Bottom/Vers discussion, maybe talking about being a "side". It's a new-"ish" term referring to guys that aren't necessarily into penetrative sex. It's still sex even if penetration isn't a factor. Just a thought... 🤷♂️
Just heard the term recently, but I’ve lived it since my first relationship in 1963 (hs boyfriend).
I thought that a side favored oral sex.
The assumption by not only straight folks, but by gay as well, is that it isn't sex if there isn't penetration. (Heteronormative) Nonsense. All of my long-term relationships in my 53 years have been 99% non penetrative. I've been a "side" my whole life but until recently that term didn't exist. If you get naked with another person and you have an orgasm, then you've had sex. Oral sex is sex. Mutual masturbation is sex.
I can gaze onto this thumbnail for daaaays...😍
He’s very good looking and I do agree he looks good without a shirt
@@benjaminlibertarianscorpio Yes, he's a cutie 4 shore! 😍
# 2) Being a Daddy (bordering on Granddaddy) Gay, I can say that top/bottom ratio has remained constant for my entire sex life; roughly 30% top/70% bottom. And as a top, that suits me fine!
Just curious, would you say that a 70% top, 30% bottom would be the perfect match for you? In my opinion, these "perfect " matches are what make finding the right chemistry so hard in gay relationships. I wish more gay guys could strive for 50/50 even if it weren't ideal.
@@kentmccoy592 more bottoms are better, if they are cute young guys. I do agree that older bottoms start to become a turn off at a certain point.
Glad your back to your normal Chris centered videos :)
That's what I like about your You Tube channel. By being Out and being yourself you debunk gay stereotypes all day long.
I'm definitely a fast walker and I have a gay friend that is too. I think that is because we are college grads and had to move quickly between classes and the habit stuck so I don't has anything to do with being gay.
Thanks for the shirtless segments and rocking some thirst traps… more boarding, please.
3:10 as a conservative gay, thank you for the recognition😩🤝🏻
Under very-very large statical sampling information conditions, the effects of stereotypes tend to be reduced if not entirely eliminated. It is only under small statical sampling that hasty generalization stereotypes exist.
True. And also, each country/culture have their own stereotypes about gays that differ from country to country. Like, where i live the stereotypes about gays are not all the same as in the US, for example!
Sorry, I mean statistical and NOT statical. Blame it on my spell check.

Hey Chris 😘 always love your content. I will say stereotypes of any kind are never 100%; in fact maybe far from it. I think on this topic percentages will vary a lot by region and demographic… and subculture. For example, I live in one of the largest cities on the West Coast. A high percentage of the gay community can be found on Grindr… usually looking for a top LoL. Definitely not all of us, and people like me break all those labels and stereotypes 😉😘 ✌🏼
Can’t wait.
What are your thoughts on "PreP"?
Chris, your vids are really very important. The lgbtqia community have received really bad press over the last 50 years. Your vids are helping to change peoples perception. To undo the damage that was done previously. I want all lgbtqia folks to live their best lives and not to feel less about themselves. So i really encourage you to continue, your vids are super important. Keep it up. And by the way, you have a smokin hot body.

Yeah Chris, spot on on all points! Great vlog!
Hi, from a retro and vintage gay guy.....Ur Welcome. Thanks for the shout out!!!!
Unfortunately the classic "we are more likely to get STDs". Honestly so annoying when I hear people say that. It's like there's safety practices that you should be following irrespective of your sexuality.
Maybe the ultimate stereotype is the gay / straight division. Some cultural divides here and there but no existential separation.
Gorgeous man, wise well beyond your age. Keep up the great work in your uploads, much appreciation from Canada.
I’m 52, living 21 years in the U.K. (Manchester) but came out in my teens in the 1980’s in Catholic Rural Ireland when being gay was very much taboo - I’ve always aspired to be super classy and sophisticated - and I’m a huge Kylie Minogue fan, of whom even our openly gay Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister) Leo Varadkar and his partner Matt Barrett are huge Kylie fans as well - I’m a traditional Catholic and Irish patriot but I’ve had a lot of acceptance in the Church regarding my being gay, just as much from my extended family and friends in my home village in Ireland when I come home to Ireland on visits from the U.K.
I think another stereotypes is that gays is all about sex and nothing else. I am actually a gay guy that doesn't really have a sex drive and sex does not appeal to me. I rather just have a man who I love for their personality and other attractive features. Not all gays are sex crazy robots. I do think that gets over-hyped. Being in a relationship in my opinion is not about the sex it is about the love you have for one another as individuals. There is my rant for the day. Lol.
The "gays love to party" stereotype though. Miss me with parties. I'll lay in bed alone or go to a museum or hug a tree or something
Cuz you're weird, all gays love to party including you, unless you are not gay
Owe! That's so cute tho... seriously! Me too, sometimes. Depends entirely in what mood I'm in tbh. Could be raring to go and get smashed on everything and anything (as long as the music scene is one I'm into) but could just as readily stay home with a good book or spend the evening watching Star Trek. Or go hug a tree, why not?!
@@littlestone1541liar, all Gays love to party, and all bottoms are feminine and tops are masculine, these aren't stereotypes.
@@levent.a.7280 Lets call them... "broadly accurate" stereotypes then... Truce?
@@levent.a.7280 I'm guessing you're joking of course. :)
But like, still; personally I'm outwardly very masc, and some people initially seem to think I'm some kind of threat whenever i happen to meet someone that I happen to like, which can be a real bummer sometimes. But also, being from a rather homophobic region of a rather homophobic country, my outward presentation and general demeanor has often saved my more fem presenting friends and partners from actual physical aggression, on more than one occasion. Aggressive violent homophobes often physically shrink down into their trousers when the response they get when trying to start something with a fem presenting boy or a trans girl is met with the six foot six viking street pirate still in his sweaty builder's overalls or mechanics clothes puts an arm around their victim of choice and say's "over your dead body, bro." And then proceed to explain to them that once I've put them on the ground "their ass is mine!... Literally!" (Of course I'd never do that but it makes them feel the same kind of intimidation that they're reveling in pushing on my girl or my boy. So as far as I'm concerned they can just deal with it.)
But here's the kick to the nutts of the "fems can't fight" stereotype: I've also got several substance abuse issues and mental health problems and have subsequently found myself surviving on the streets for a combined total of 15 years...So due, i assume, to my unapologetic stance on my own sexuality, and my reputation as, i suppose, a 'hard working-class gay guy' that doesn't fit the homophobic stereotypes that are prevalent around where i live, I guess that the sexually repressed fragile masculinity crowd see it as an opportunity to "teach me a lesson" when I've unfortunately found myself in a drug and alcohol induced stupor fueled by depression and a self destructive escape from my own issues and life in general... Needless to say they could have beat me up severely, i probably would have ended up in hospital if it wasn't for my beautiful angel and their 5tf4 of pure knife-wielding rage and the hours of protection they afforded me while i deliriously made my drunken sorry ass way back to our van. She fought off a gang of four nazi bigots from the local rugby team who followed us, jeering and threatening us the whole time, half the way across town, protecting my safety at great risk to her own... But one thing is for sure, after several scuffles, she came out of it with a couple of scrapes and bruises and the super straight apes that attacked us eventually ran away, their d!cks between their legs, bloodied and beaten and shamed to their rotten cores. They're my savior, (they go by she/they, I kinda swap around between the two depending on the context and circumstance... cause that's how we like it.) Anyway, I suppose we're both what you'd call stereotype breakers...
Edit: Sorry. I maybe went and offered up way too much information there...
I guess that being single and stuck out here in the middle of the ass of rural nowhere has got to my lately... 😞
Sorry, got to you late. But...nicely produced, edited, etc. video - professional! Also, "stay kind" (yah!!). Is there an upcoming video with Curtis? Be well...Peace-Love... 😉

Ahh yes....the "you suck at math" jokes. What lmao?!
This video would’ve been way different if it had of been stereotypes for tops and bottoms specifically (vers guys are hard to stereotype outside of always getting mad when people call them bottoms lol) I’m bad at math but a great driver, a masculine top but very much into musicals, I am a horn dog at times but also want a long term monogamous relationship, I’m conservative but environmentally friendly, I’ve been on Grindr but haven’t been back on in years because I made friends instead of just hooking up, i have a great fashion sense but very rarely use it. People are individuals regardless of the group or groups the a lumped into and there are exceptions to almost every rule.
Except that all gays are beautiful.

As a vintage retro gay, I approve this message.
Lol Grindr is a train wreck, but can be useful to meet people. People just don’t seem to go out to bars anymore. Or if they do, they go in groups. Very little meeting new people
I’m not fully-gay, but I am pansexual and queer af, and I’ve been noticing one particular stereotype show up a lot whenever I’m in college, and also during my time in grade school. It is…
The brash gay theater kid
I’m honestly not surprised that a lot of people who are theater kids tend to be LGBTQ+ in some way, since a lot of plays and films have plenty of queer subtext or characters that represent a lot of us and our struggles, so seeing gay guys turn out to be theater kids isn’t really surprising.
There is, however, one particular thing that does surprise me, and it’s that some theater kids tend to be very brash/narcissistic, specifically the ones who believe they’re better than others, and if a gay guy is like this, it just brings a whole new feel to the stereotype.
The most stereotypical theater kids are notorious for being overconfident or easily on-edge whenever something doesn’t go their way, like getting a prestigious part in a play, or not being able to head to a particular show, but for some reason, whenever I see gay theater kids respond that way, it feels way worse. We’re talking Shane Dawson worse when it comes to overreacting and throwing a tantrum, that kind of tantrum that makes you not want to be involved in whatever argument they’re having.
I’ve also noticed that this particular stereotype tends to have an age demographic too, mostly Millennials born after at least 1990 who dress in turtleneck sweaters or clothing from some outdoors shop. I don’t know why it’s specifically millennials, but I see this a lot with the stereotype. I’ve personally never had a problem with someone like this, but I do remember hearing about a guy exactly like this who was in one of my friend’s classes.
There were at least two times where he had to be escorted out of the college theater because he wouldn’t stop screaming about how he wanted to play a certain role, or that the air-conditioning was too cold, even though it was 67. Basically he complained about the smallest things, was overdramatic about the parts he couldn’t get, and performed and sung in the middle of class when nobody even wanted to watch him to begin with. He has a big reputation on campus for just being an overall douche, and I know a few gay friends of mine have had pretty bad experiences with him on dates.
But yeah, that’s one stereotype I can think of. There’s plenty of others, but I think this one is the most concerning because it puts gay men at risk of not being taken seriously in the theater industry.
It cracks me up that he has to answer without a shirt
Great video , loved it...keep up the great work. Gotta say, looking great, definite definition in chest and abs.
Ok, ok. They're right about me walking fast.
1:11, side is a new type.
I have terrible fashion sense (graphic tee, jeans, and sneakers 24/7 haha), Bert good driver (despite my driving record), and have always been very good at math. Now that I think about it, my driving might not be as good as I think haha
Thanks Chris!
Me:
1.) I'm on Grindr even though I am aromantic (cannot experience romantic love) and am demisexual (I need to feel a mutually close, emotional connection with someone to experience sexual attraction to them, and even then, they usually have to be sexually into me first). I do use Grindr for looking for friends or possibly guys I can get to know so that I can eventually develop a sexual attraction for. That said, I do think most guys on Grindr are just looking to hook up. So, maybe not a stereotype for most gay guys, but for some, yes.
2.) I'm vers
3.) I can fix computers and am competent enough with cars, though I'm not a professional and prefer someone else to do it
4.) Yes I do walk (and run) super fast, despite being 5'9" and weighing over 300lbs
5.) I do like football, although having ADHD, I find it nearly impossible to sit through a whole game, I also like target shooting, hunting, and fishing (not sure if those count as sports though)
6.) I'm an excellent driver, I've been driving for 12 years and have never gotten into any accidents or received any tickets (also very good reflexes-people wonder how I'm actually much more physically fit than I appear), although I'm horrible at math.
7.) I love hot and iced coffee and tea, I also try to avoid drama, but I'm not perfect, sometimes I get sucked into that vortex
8.) I hate shopping. I need to know what i'm getting when I go into a store. And I need to go in there, buy it, and get the hell out as quickly as possible. Also, not one for fashion. I work from home so my "work uniform" is just house clothes and only have a few pairs for when I do go out.
9.) I am a Libertarian. This basically means that when it comes to social issues, I am Liberal, but for everything else, I am conservative. I am a passionate LGBT rights activist but I'm also a passionate 2nd Amendment Activist, I have a License to Carry Firearms in my state of PA and I carry a gun daily. I personally believe LGBT people and other minorities should definitely be armed, given the homophobia and transphobia in the country, but I'm usually met with hate from Democrats when I say that.
10.) I don't know every gay person. Obviously, we all should be sticking together as much as possible because there are strength in numbers, but it doesn't mean we all know each other.
11.) Like I said, I mostly try to avoid drama, but sometimes drama cannot avoid me.
11.5.) Nope, I'm like 80% masc and the rest fem, but I'm vers. I don't feel fem when I bottom.
12.) Well I'm aro and demi so I don't really develop "crushes" so this one doesn't apply to me.
13.) Nope, I'm very close to my father. The notion that a problematic relationship with the father causes men to be gay was an old, almost 100+ year theory when psychology was in its infancy. Freud was the one who actually came up with the theory. Most of his theories, including this one, has been proven false over the years. But it's still perpetuated because homophobes apparently "need" a reason to figure out why gay guys exist. As for liking older men? Perfectly normal to like who you like!
14.) I bleached my hair once when I was a teen and I'm not doing it again. Didn't look right lol but it wasn't because of a mental breakdown.
15.) I'm aro and demi, see #1 for what that means, but no, I do not sleep around.
Great video, I know I'm late to the party on seeing this one, but still!

I think a good one is that all gays are fem. I know plenty of masc gay dudes. Love the new outro bud.
Broadway tunes. Playing the piano. Interior designers.
Bad drivers and bad at math? I race cars and motorcycles very effectively. Built at least two cars, have a machine shop and can figure out how to make or fix just about anything.
Thank You for this video, and the shirtless treat at the end of the video.
How about the tea bag?
“That all gays love to go out to clubs and parties” nah sis I’ll stay home and cuddle on the couch while we watch movies and eat snacks 🥰
Okay, soo question?
What is your most dangerous kink?
Just curious I been following you since tiktok, you're definitely entertaining.
nice vid dude. thanks!
In high school I was always in the locker/shower room And Director of studies said something to me
3 years at all boys schools 2 different And last was public school with Group showers😎 A girl in the office gave me a fav boys schedule so I could check him out ( I wish I could've like checking a book out of a library)
After grad we were friends he knew I was bonkers over him but I was mostly too nervous to tell him He was like 85% straight but at the town pool where I first noticed him - hanging out with an older lifeguard
Thanks. It is important to knock down stereotypes. And thanks also for the shout-out to the older generation for the work we did to get us here. I'm in my late 60s, and we did indeed suffer abuse, harassment, gay bashings, and discrimination, and we fought daily against it in order to get us to this point. It gladdens my heart to hear young people acknowledge those struggles. Thank you.
Yes, but up to a point! We also delayed the acceptance by the outrageous number of mature gays hitting on under age guys 15-18 and making life miserable for most of them. Additionally, the guys in drag, also scared many gays in the closet and their families (did Divine ever project something positive for any of us? No he didn't!) Not to mention the many fetishes that were visible that were incomprehensible to others, like my mom! I'm glad that I came out early in my teens in a town that lacked any role models for me to follow, and I'm glad that I did it, otherwise, I would have been scared, if I thought that I would have been taken in any other way than just being myself!
Hey Chris! Great content. Made me think a bit. In my case, 1 never used Grndr 2 Im verse, my fem asian husband is a top, 3 Im mechanically inclined fav is rebuilding engines, was a pit man for a race car driver Olds 442 modified street drag racing. 4 I walk like a normal person, not a racewalker. Lol. 5 I love Hockey GO CATS!!! and watersports 😘 6 was wha?? Im a great driver and math is not an issue, that was a weird one... 7 I like both coffee and tea. Im a nightshift ICU nurse, coffee is our lifeblood 8 totally hate shopping, Im a shorts and T shirt kind of guy, very basic. 9 nonpartisan grew up in a strictly conservative republican family, most of my gay friends are republicans. 10 we are not all a collective borg... 11 I live in a no drama zone 12 my philippino husband is fem and he is a top, ohhh yeahhhh. 13 I crush guys but it is much more than looks, it's the whole man I am attracted to. 14 I have family issues not exclusive to dad 15. I am not a sex pot. 16 I dont think the blonde thing holds water.
Thanks for a great post. It would be interesting to see what Calvin says about the these items. Maybe he has a different perspective. . .
Btw congrats on the outcome of the contest!! That was a lot of fun to follow. Great idea.
Love you always! ❤💜❤💜❤💜😘😘🙋♂️🍑🍌
@Kenneth Hubbard, given your "collective borg" reference, are you another "Star Trek" fan in these comments?
Another gay stereotype is that they don't reply to me on Grindr.
Great perspective.
I love “stay woke” better tho🙈🙉🙊
