gday from expat in oz,i fished that res 40 years ago in the closed sason for trout, one of the only trout fisheries where you could use bait, hellish deep but when the water was cold deeper the better, in all the times i fished it i never caught a course fish only brown trout of max weight a pound but plenty of them,i allways thought that they must be huge pike in that res.

The Free-Spirit CTX 13Ft (120gram) is a two peace one. I have no problem with the storidge of it. Better then three peaces, imo.

That's the first time I've ever seen a ticket machine at a fishery. Neat idea.
Going back to the length of rods. I bought a Vauxhall Diablo LWB... ( my god what a heap of sh*t it is Turning circle of a super tanker) just so it would comfortably house my rods as most are 12ft and over...only two I can fit in the back without having to ship everything down. Fits loads of kit though... anyway I went of road. Top bollocks video..probably the best feeder fisherman guy going...couple of others I can mention, but it's not their video and they have not paid me!

Hi, casting 50 meters with a feeder rod isn't a problem, but casting 130/150 meters or more is challenging. Jamie, as always, a great film

    Holly smokes , 50m with a 13ft rod ? 😮
The venue I go to has the opposite side at 52m , with a 30g feeder I hit the clip every time using a 10ft rod, much so , I place the feeder in a square foot. I rarely use the 12ft there, exceptions makes the days it's very windy. 😅

That stuff falling in front of the camera, between you and the lens....what is it? Don't recognise it.
Easy guide for feeder weights = 30g for 30m, 40g for 40m, 50g for 50m, etc. (weights include groundbait)
