Both. Spend 90% of your time prospecting small and medium deals and spend 2 hours a week going after monster deals because it takes months to close those and they will want referrals
I get at least a phone call per day about "merchant services". As soon as I ask what they are calling about, either they or I hang up. I wouldn't be in business if I wanted to constantly change "merchant services". If you put me to a test, I couldn't tell you what "merchant services" actually means. This is a percentage scam that preys on small businesses. I have gone through all of the headaches with this. Gov't will eventually catch on to this.
Honesty and transparency are essential in this industry. Person to person interaction is the foundation for any GREAT merchant services provider.
