Brought my gts, white and loaded. The turbo is 0.5 seconds faster. Nonetheless, it's a car that dose it all. My first choice was the 911 conv. S loaded, but I wanted more room inside. The poesche salesman stated, get the gts, and they were correct, and so were the reviews I read about this car-suv-butt kicker. I've smacked 5.0s. Hondas, and subarus and the like. I'm thinking about putting the high performance package on it too. Well, to all who have not driven a real car, the Macan gts remains waiting for you at the dealer. Bring some dollars with you, and leave with a smile on your face. Great car, great review, great fun! Drive safe, wear mask and Be well!!!

@@DrKomaTrans Consumption? Well you do not purchase a porsche for how much gas you consumed, or what's the repair cost. You buy the best PORSCHE you can afford. IT'S the ride, the speed, the handling, and also the history. The conversation, most people like porsches. You also get people looking into your car, they come in all ages and races, every day your behind the wheel, people are looking. Many people like the way the exhaust sounds, sweet melody.
Porsche is a great car, puts a smile on my face every time I get in it. I might add, I'm over due for a ticket, I'm under the impression the police give a blinds eye to the porsche. I do not hear to much of drivers getting ticket in a porches.

@@allanmayo9616 Police turning a blind eye to Porsches...makes sense. 90mph in a Porsche is just as safe as 60mph in a suburban tin-bucket econo-car

I am looking into buying a macan GTS and am curious how it has held up and what maintance is required with the cost?
Has held up great, about 80k miles no with no issues! Only basic oil changes and Porsche service, which is expensive, but nothing out of the ordinary.

My macan gets quite a bit of attention. I keep it waxed, tires glossy and, windows clean. White in color, tan full leather and black dash. Loaded overall. Keep in mind, your driving a sports car-suv, people wish they could afford. The dealer salesman stated their research regarding porsche purchases are mainly millionaires, so there you have it. You will get many stairs. Let it be known, you do need $$$$, for example, to have your front brakes changed, they replace most part that's upward a of two thousand dollar job. Oil change $450.00 plus. Those are simple repairs. If you do not have $15-$20,000 laying around for your car repair
do not buy a porsche. Of course, a private mechanic can do the jobs much cheaper, but you want your car fixed right the first time around. So shop around for a good mechanic. One of the best suvs on the road. You will always have a smile on your face, if you get a macan gts. I promise !!!
I was following along till he said lots of room in the back, thats when I lost faith in this guy's credibility. First of all I have the top of the line turbo model, and I can tell you the room in the back is for kids only. Full of it.

New BMW X3M is .75 of the price of a Macanese and outperforms it with the latest inline 6 engine contained in the latest M3 with 503 HP.
The X3M BMW is ugly and handling pales compared to the Macan. The Macan quite simply is so sublime in performance and styling that you won’t care what other SUV is faster. 0-60 in 4.8 and top speed of 162 mph is pretty awesome. Exactly How fast do you need a suv to go anyway?
I’ve driven both, and the BMW is not even close to Macan when it comes to handling. Plus, the Macan looks better IMO. That being said, the M versions of the BMW SUVs are fantastic and fast. In the end, I bought the Macan GTS, and it will arrive in November.
PDK is why the Macan is the better car. Miserable BMW ownership experience is why you buy the Porsche.
as i'm looking towards buying a compact SUV my number 1 choice is the Macan GTS (2016-2018), the X3 M is my close number 2, a white one with black 21 rims looks sick, but can't get over the interior console, looks so poor and essential to me (in a bad way), also that infotainment screen looks like someone took a cheap tablet and fixed it there in place with a couple of screws, on the other side i love the interiors of the old/new Macan. If i weren't to choose the Macan i would surely get the BMW, because i hate the exterior/interior of the Mercedes GLC and AUDI Q5, also won't get the XC60 because it's the less fun to drive of them all, love the interiors of the Jaguar E-PACE but exterior is a no no.

Overall good review. I own a white 2018 Macan S with 21” classic wheels. And disagree with you that the GTS is the faster and better value. I’ve run neck and neck with a friends GTS several times. Not much separation at all in performance. I’ve since gotten a sports tune to my S that added 60hp and 95 lbs. of torque. I now blow past my friends GTS. Odd fact is if my friend sport tuned his GTS both our cars would be dead even in horsepower because the engines and turbos are the same on both.
Have you ever tried swapping cars? Because you may just be better at driving than your friend. GTS should definitely be better to drive, less body roll and sportier in general. Maybe on a straight you won't notice much of a difference but as you drive along you should feel the difference, on macanforum many S customers confirmed that after switching to GTS.
