Are you using the #4 brush to lay down your paint and the #6 brush for your shades? or are you laying them down with #1 and using #4/#6 to shade depending on the area.

Thank you watching my content and for asking this question as I think there are more who can benefit from it. Yes I use the #4 to lay down the paint and a #6 to fade. The sizes of each can be changed depending on the size of the painting. Hope you got the answer you were looking for.
