    Really love this! Only i didn t understand how to do shading! Thanks for sharing all this!

    • @SoberjoeSe
      @SoberjoeSe  3 года назад

      You mean on the acetate? Paint a flash as you normally would with shading and all but don’t color it. Take it to a copy machine and print your flash onto an acetate. 👍🏻

    So excited that you released this video as I had never heard of cyanotyping before! It looks awesome! I haven't done this myself, but I heard that a hydrogen peroxide wash on the print speeds up the darkening process.

    Instead of taping your art I recommend a photo frame that holds the paper flat. Plus you know you already have a perfectly sized frame if you want to hang your art work

      that’s great man. Someone also told me to just put glass on top of the paper to hold it down. 👍🏻

      Yeah it would not be a problem. If it’s not black enough. Print another one and layer them. 👍🏻

    Great as always :) would it be possible to use vellum/tracing paper sheets instead of acetate?? Thank you!

    • @SoberjoeSe
      @SoberjoeSe  3 года назад

      You may have to expose the paper for a longer time. Tracing paper is not as transparent as acetate. Try it out and see if it works.

    • @bangon9
      @bangon9 3 года назад +1

      Tracing/vellum can be made transparent enough for this and burning screens for screenprints by adding a small amount of oil to the surface (a light coating)
