Yes. The multiple challenges of the continent have fast become the catalyst for innovation on an astounding level. AFRICA IS READY FOR LIFT-OFF So proud of you
Efosa Ojomo, now you, Nnamdi, have been my greatest, greatest discovery and inspiration this year! Bravo to you both my brothers. I hope to meet both of you some day (hopefully, to discuss my innovation that advances Africa far and beyond that you'd be proud of!). Loved this Tedx!
Stories are the way we drive culture and human behaviour and it's important that we tell our stories as Africans. The part on how the stories we listened to or watched when we were kids affects us as adults like watching star wars and then becoming innovators as adults really stood out to me.
This is very good and i want to ad that Africa must join up and speak one language of Swahili, even the deserts will be built up and be gridded together
During slavery in the US & after the abolishment of slavery and with ensuing emancipation & right through US history, until approx the 60's, thousands of African-American's had great ideas and invented many amazing things, however, bec of segregation & widespread, systemic racism @ the national level, their respective patents, never had a chance most unfort.
Excellent narrative because you’re so eloquent, what i don’t hear is how an African kid could listen and understand what you’re saying with the background that they already have, you’re probably speaking to the wrong audience
Unfortunately, huge population with poverty, corruption, huge cities with bad living standards and poor social and economic infrastructure is simply a disaster! Period! Telling you as an Indian...
in Africa we don't have 20 Million homeless people including children and women but big cities in India more than 100 millions of people are living in extreme poverty with no basic human needs, Africa is pradise for Indians,
Amit Kumar every country has poverty and corruption. What’s unfortunate is that only those parts are shown whenever something about Africa is shown. Many countries in Africa are thriving and are growing exponentially.
Africa is about to have everything da United States 🇺🇸 have China 🇨🇳 helping dem it’s about to be lit there so much wealth and job opportunities living arrangements is about to be lit living like king there
So amazing & very informative! Btw, Egypt is part of North Africa Sir. You state that African's didn't/don't talk about their history, but it's only bec their full & truthful history, managed very well, to be whitewashed and even deleted, from all history books. This is the problem. The real issue sits with Caucasian colonizers/intruders, who were happy to pillage and steal, but not to speak truth, about those with whom they took over from and even stole from. This was history. The British Museums & other European & Western Museums, are full of artefacts, that do not belong to them. All the way from Greece, to Iran and beyond. True African history was always whitewashed and hidden from the masses, throughout much of human history, most sadly & unfort. African's, throughout Caucasian/white history, were always suppressed and oppressed. Their absolute, true progress and potential, was stifled & remained in stagnant mode, bec of the countless white men in power, the early colonizers. Unfort, bec this unfair system was so powerful, African peoples didn't stand a chance to explore themselves and their countries even more, to express and to grow, to catch up & even to be @ an even & equal level with their white brothers and sisters. Also, you say that people may say, that Ancient African history's time frame is far/way back, but this matters not. The time frame matters not, bec true history is history, no matter how far back one goes. White people will always claim their ancestral roots, their history, even if it goes back 50,000 or more years! So why shouldn't African people do the exact, same thing?! Truth is, African history was watered down, white washed, diluted & was made to appear much, much "less" than what it truly was. Thank God, for men like the famous AKALA. Do check him out & he'll literally blow your mind, with his knowledge of true African history. He does bring much historical truths to real light. He also dispels all the myths, regarding African history and it's amazing peoples and empires.
