    Good Morning Adrian, it's a slow Sunday morning here - drenched in a thick blanket of heavy mist - and I'm thoroughly enjoying watching you create beautiful artistic master-pieces. Thank you so much.

      Haha, it totally did. Actually, I was saying how disappointed I was! It wasn't any better than other stores, unfortunately 😁 but yeah, not sure what happened there. Thank you, Wojtek!

    Ps! If you drive E6 on your way back home, you should cross the beautiful Nessundet Bridge to Helgøya Island in Lake Mjøsa. On the southern part of Helgøya you should park by Skafferiet Cafe and walk down to Lake Mjøsa, to view the Skreiafjella Mountains. Helgøya is the northernmost part where oak trees spread naturally by acorns.
    If you decide to go to the Totenåsen Hills, you must go to Svartdalstjerna Forest Reserve, a true gem!

    The tree bending over the mountain was my favourite photo, and the drone footage of the needle shaped bridge was great too.

    Helgelandkysten translates to The Holy Land's coast.
    Helgelandsbrua translates to The Holy Land's bridge.
    When putting Norwegian names into Google Translate they often return something sensible. If they don't you may need to split the word into its components. If you know English or German it is easy to figure out where to split. Eg. Helge Land Kysten.

    • @aows
      @aows  Год назад

      Ooooh, thanks! I figured those long names were like German, compound words, just didn't know how to pronounce them at all. I'm trying to learn Norwegian using Duolingo, but it's going to take a while haha. Thanks for the help, though!

    For the stepping stones in the water, I think I actually like the one where they are just beneath the surface better. Not sure why, though of course, your selected composition is super.

    • @aows
      @aows  Год назад

      I like it too, but I don't know, I still like it more with the water a little bit lower. This is the good about photography, though, it's far from being objective, flat and boring. Everyone will see something different :)

    Oh yes, your favorite image is indeed superb. I liked a lot the lone trees though. The drone view of the lakes, waterfalls and fjord are quite something. How not to be enthralled by such a landscape, it seems that all the views are potentially beautiful compositions!

      I agree, Calie. It's so beautiful everywhere that one gets overwhelmed. A random spot in Norway could be a whole national park in many other countries.

      Hey, Christine! That does not sound boring at all. I was taking photos of some random barrels and other pieces of garbage at a marina just yesterday haha. I do think you can find something beautiful almost anywhere, so please keep shooting those containers :)

      Thanks, Joe. And you're right. It doesn't make any better, but want to make clear I only did it on small(ish) secondary roads, with no cars around, and going very slow. In any case, not right, and I found a better way now.

      Yes! I don't know why, they did have audio when I was working on the edit, something must have happened on the export. And that's why you should always play the exported version and not rely on the working project 😅
