Seaside is one of our favorite places to stay when we go to the coast. I really love going in between seasons in the spring or fall. Weather isnt as good but there is a otherworldy feel to a beach tourist town during that time
Great video, very fun to watch! Looks like everyone had a great time and you got some great shots! I'm a 61 year old that received my first 35mm film camera (Canon AE1 Program) as a H.S. graduation gift. Shot tons of film until finally decided to go digital in the early 2000. Then I picked up a Sony A6000 for a trip to NZ & Australia. Shortly afterword I found out I could mount just about any classic lens on it with the right adaptor. That started me collecting classic lenses, mostly through auctions. Along the way I ended up with some old 35mm camera. During that time I also advanced to a full frame Sony A7III. Eventually I thought I should get the 35mm cameras working and try some film in them. I use to have a darkroom setup and had kept my film tanks. After shooting some film and scanning them on the A7III. Big mistake! I was hooked on film again! I decided that I would like to finally try medium format. I've been doing this now for last year or so and currently have a Mamiya C220, Ansco Viking 4.5, Ansco Speedex Special R and a pinhole camera! Lately Ive been shooting 10 rolls of color and will try to develop C-41 for the first time! Sorry for the long post, just wanted to share my experience.
That Agfa Optima made for some nice family photos! I’ll have to try to find a roll. Having your wife feature so prominently in her off-camera comments was a nice addition.
Wait the family photos with the light house kinda eats 😍 24:44 Haha I have the opposite effect, I shoot so much Fujifilm the rare moment I shoot Portra 400, I like the tonal change. Great video, maybe I'll have to take a trip to the coast this weekend 🤣
This is a great video showing a great bond both between you and your family and you and your film-shooting experience. I wish you fame and fortune (and sponsors) because you deserve them!
Thanks for this video. It was terrific! My wife and I are traveling to that area of Oregon next year. I've already started to ponder which film stocks I will take with me. Peace!
The Oregon Coast is my happy place. SOLID video.

Yes! The Oregon coast is a paradise for film users. Your mother seems very sweet. Keep up your work.
Nice relaxing video :) and photos :D those panoramic photos are great!
Glad you like them! Thank you!

Having your wife so supportive of your RUclips endeavours is really cool.

Thank you! I wish I were closer to the coast! I would be out there all the time!

Your kind words mean the world!

Maybe I'm a lunatic but I wish I had brought at least one roll of B&W! Have fun out there, cheers!
this is an amazingly put together video! and the shots are so cool.
altogether a very vibey watch. B)
Tanks em :)
I am inspired and I did subscribe.... Thank you. (but I still prefer digital though...)
No problem with digital! I just included that bit about digital being sacrilege as a hyperbole. Thanks for the subscription!
Great video, cheers!
Thank you!
Vegas checking in. Yes it's hot 😅
Y'all are built different to be living out there. 🥵
Well done.
That's a very cool camera 👀
Great video, but the intro was 10/10 😂
I need to get a sponsor so it can be 0/10 🤑🤑🤑
Looking at others photos is akin to being a mind reader. Unless they're digital. The photos, not the others.
Do you live in Oregon? If so we should do some photography trips together.
I wish I lived in Oregon! I don't get out that way very much but, I definitely need to go on more photo trips!
@@KylersFilm next time you’re in the area message me. Hopefully by then I’ll have more than 1 sub haha
Keep grinding! It takes forever especially in a niche as small as photography but very rewarding! I'm still grinding as well. I feel your struggle!
@@KylersFilm best of luck to you!
Those album cover family photos are the only way I’m taking a photo of my family from now on 🫡
