That Ned scene at the beginning, with the flashbacks it's perfect. He remembered that even after all those years it looms over him, that fight with Ser Arthur Dayne. Haunts him.
Sir Arthur didn't deserve that.

This is just..... It's brilliant. What a tribute to the house that is Stark. The house it all began with and the house where we hopefully will see GoT come to an end. Can't really imagine it any other way. Game of Thrones is house Stark and house Stark is Game of Thrones. (Not necessarily a fact, just my opinion)

Jon is the King of the Free Folks. Sansa is the Queen of the North. Bran is the King of the Six Kingdoms. Arya is the Queen of Herself. I am happy to see the Starks got their happy ending.
It's a nice happy ending, but not a Game of Thrones ending, if you know what I mean.

Jon Snow may have fought the Bolton's and taken back Winterfell. But Arya is the one who truly avenged the Red Wedding
They both avenged the red wedding. Both taking down the two houses most responsible for the death of their brother. Where Sansa and Jon took revenge on the Boltons, Arya took revenge on the Freys

-Sansa Stark and Jon/Aegar Stargaryen exterminated the dishonorable and cruel Boltons.
+Secured the North after the Battle.
-Arya Stark put down the Scheming and backstabbing Freys.
+Returned North.
The North remembers it's Guardians the Direwolves of House Stark.
-Robb Stark the Young Wolf, the Wolf that never gives up and will never stop fighting.
-Jon/Aegar Stargaryen the White Wolf of Winter and the Wolf with Dragons blood, the Wolf that protects his family at all costs.
-Sansa Stark the Red Wolf, the Wolf that is Cunning like the Cold.
-Arya Stark the Night Wolf, the Wolf that will never stop Hunting her packs enemies.
-Bran Stark the Winged Wolf, that sees everything and knows everything.

When all other houses fight for power fights against themselves , betrayed & killed their own family members, House stark stood together as a family they cared each other. Credit to ned stark on how he raised his children ❤❤❤
Personally, I know no king except the King in the North, whose name is Stark.
The red kings or the Boltons also have clashed with Starks many times before for the north. The red kings wore cloaks made of stark skins and one bolton king called redhands would plunge the bellies of his Stark captives , draw out their entrails with his bare hands and offer them as tribute to the old gods of winter. Bt eventually a stark would raise a host and get back the north and put the red kings to the sword. Bt stark men were not so cruel and would let the youngest heir live so as to further the line of Bolton. The line of Boltons was ended by sansa stark and jon snow as they reclaimed the north from the clutches of ramsey Bolton thereby putting an end to the bloody legacy of house Bolton.

+Serbian Beyonder If Jon remained dead, Ramsay would still be the ruler in the North. The night's watch under Alliser Thorne would have turned Sansa, Brienne, Theon and Pod in to Ramsay, since the night's watch not supposed to take part in matters of the state. So Sansa raped and brutalized again, Theon became Reek again (for good), Brienne and Pod flayed and killed. By the time Baelish arrives, Ramsay will not go out and meet them, choosing a siege. And Baelish and the Vale army would be wasted away and slowly killed by the weather outside. With that the North is doomed with the Long Night coming, and the rest of Westeros. So thanks to Jon Snow coming back to life, Winterfell is retaken and there's a chance against the Whitewalkers.
Gwenyth181 well, if there's no jon snow, Sansa has nothing to do with the night's watch so she'll never head there. She'll look for a safe place in somewhere else, trying to be away from ramsay's hands.
Ehmm, actually she doesnt knew that Jon got killed (and no one outside of Night Watch knew that ), so probably she would end up in castle Black anyway.
