OMG I'm guilty of all 15+foods. I don't have diabetes but I do have high blood pressure. I'm working on changing my eating habits some things are harder than other things. Honey is the most surprising 😮 Thank you for this info

  • @vivianwada6292

All of these foods i have avoided for years.
I dont have high cholesterol, no high blood pressure, nor diabetes, because I dont eat these things. I must confess, i do treat myself to a double whopper everyday few months, a McDonald's ice cream cone every 2 weeks, in the summer on Fridays, sometimes bread pudding my neighbor makes.
It's such a challenge to eat healthy. I eat fruits all of the time and do make my own ice cream treat with fruits, banana, yogurt or soy milk. It hits the spot.
I also work out 4 tines a week. I hate it, but do it for health benefits. I am 71. The struggle is real.
It amazes me that so many people just eat what they like or want on a regular basis.
    Thank you

With all these foods to avoid I sometimes feel there's not much we can eat. Everything seems to have sugar in it. When I get fed up I know this is silly but I feel like I shouldn't be eating anything. sometimes.

Rinse rice thoroughly before cooking to remove excess starch; water should be clear not cloudy. Make rice the day before. Refrigerate it and eat it the next day. Refrigerating rice lowers the carbs and reduces the glycemic index by 30 - 40%. Rice can be refrigerated for 3-5 days. This has been a game changer for me.

Add cilantro ( if you like it) , sea salt , garlic powder & lemon. You can buy a spiralizer and turn veggies into pasta. Zucchini for example is a great alternative to pasta. Also cauliflower crust pizza is fantastic, if you luv pizza.

Of course we like stuff. We’ve been doing it all our lives. Our bodies are telling us different now. We can be stubborn about it but our bodies will win.

Nine were a surprise. I am not a violater of any of them. My go to treat is skinny pop popcorn... Small bag only. I may have a bit or two of Sorbet but there is no sugar involved. It is rather boring to have to eat so restrictively however and I don't like it. 😒 But I DID KNOW of all you spoke of... ❤
