Misleading headline. The Rangers didn't dominate the Panthers at all. They were outplayed and definitely outshot most of the game but they found a way to win! LGR!!!

Out shooting a team means nothing, its a rope a dope style and they wear themselves out, theres a reason rangers are better than any other team in a 1 goal lead or tie game. its not an accident and its not luck, shooting means nothing if its not in the net, and it hasnt been

Panthers owned the 3rd period but didn’t dominate the entire game. We had a 4-2 lead going into the third and shot volume doesn’t mean diddly squat!

We’ve been outshot in the Carolina series too and still won the series, so nobody should be surprised by now. We are up 2-1 and our top line doesn’t even have a point yet and we haven’t scored a power play goal either. This is crazy!!!
Boomer we were not dominated except for most of the 3rd. I understand that is why it feels that way but first 2 periods were rangers better in beginning and Florida closed out periods strong

BTW the puck didn’t just float to the point. Kakko made a great play off the faceoff go get it to the point. As much flack as he gets he should get the credit where it’s due.
They were only dominated in the 3rd period. If penalty machine Trouba would chill out, the #s wouldn’t be as one-sided. Hard to get shots off when your penalty killing for 1/4 of the game
100% another thing no one is mentioning. This team is no stranger to being stuck in their own zone the whole game. But yea that's because they had 6 PPs and couldn't get any momentum to try and tilt the ice. Need to be more disciplined.
If the defense can get a decent game under their belt, the Rangers have the elite offense to win this game tonight.

Two good penalties by Trouba: Rodrigues had a clear path to the net so he Elbowed and the other he broke his stick. He did draw a Power Play too. Plus the Elbow penalty resulted in the Shorty by Goodrow. Team responding to their Captain standing up for them. LGR

I dont think florida is dominating, 2nd period was all rangers, laf has destroyed them multiple times, the third period and early overtime in game 3 was all florida but great teams win, and they did.

Rangers won ... they did not dominate that game at all. You have to be a complete homer to think that was a dominant performance.
Panthers only dominated the third. Rangers were great in the first and second, had a 4-2 lead.
The Rangers did not dominate the Panthers. It was quite the opposite. Rangers scored in OT. Sometimes it happens and the better team loses.
Oh please stop making excuses for Mika! If there are 3 defenders on Mika then his teammates have a 4 on 2 advantage and he needs to pass the puck there and get assists. Mika needs to chill with DJ’ing and focus on hockey especially in the offseason.

Hardly dominating. Difference is in goal obviously. Game three the Panthers had over 100 shots and Rangers 44. Bobrovsky has petitioned the league to have a seeing eye dog for game 4. Only then will the Panthers have a chance because the Rangers goal tender is a brick wall.

Panthers 108 shots, Rangers 43 shots in game 3. And game 1 & 2 were also dominated by the Panthers. It's time for the Panthers to dig in and start throwing the body more. My advice to the Panthers is more quality shots than quantity shots. My advice to the Rangers is watch out in game 4, especially Jacob Trouba with that illegal elbow to the head. Let's Go Panthers!

Bro what? Lmao. The Cup is the only title you can take series because of how hard it is to win. The best team is the one who can win 16 games under the grind of the playoffs. When it comes to luck, NHL is the lowest on the list of the major 4 sports with how much luck plays in the winner.
