OH MY GOSH! Your daughter is absolutely adorable. "See you soon dad. I love you." If that don't melt your heart......It gets no better than that! Congrats!
Your daughter is growing up so fast -- a beautiful young lady!
OMG she is getting so big!!! Adorable!!! Sorry for the problems, It is hard to find good companies these days!!
Your daughter made the VLOG! Sorry to hear of all the problems. Been there too.
Tough luck factor - HUGE, cute factor EVEN HUGER.
Jay I had a host of eelectrical gremlins at our house when I returned from service overseas as a contractor on the U-2 program. I added an extra ground rod & tied it into the existing ground connection. This cleared up 99% of all the problems, the rest were due to the prior owner not being fully aware of electrical wiring. You might want to do the same, low cost except for the sweat equity in installing those copper ground rods. Good luck!
Wow, Jay! It can only get better from here! (I hope) Your Daughter is getting so big and even cuter! Hang in there!
Look on the bright side of all those problems - there's pretty much everything that can break has so things should (?) be better going forward.
I've cut my electric use in half compared to last year but still paying the same plus we've got an 80% rise coming on 1st Oct. Heating oil has also doubled in the last year. Currently stockpiling all the wood I can get hold of for my one open fire which will double as my cooker during the winter.
The daughter's face when she got that apron was absolutely priceless 😁
in June 2020 my Ford F150 blew a piston arm and totaled the engine. This after putting in a new time belt and new tires . Relaced it with a 2020 Ranger and have been really happy with the performance and gas mileage. On a separate note my 580 square foot shop with attic loft space is heated and cooled with a single Mitsubishi mini-split and my biggest bill was only $65 this summer.
Your family always makes me smile, thank you for sharing.
Sorry to hear about the troubles! I've got an old car that's always being worked on so I know what you're going through! You should look into solar. Seems to be very popular right now and I bet you could get some sponsors for that!
Pretty weird the issue with the computer indeed, Jay! Perhaps it's worth it putting Linux on an old notebook to use with the CNC... Who knows? (I've worked with both and had both on my PCs for a long time. Both work great.)
Your daughter's apron is really cute! But she's even cuter! 😃
About the electric bill, I'm definitely going to put solar panels here in my house. I just didn't do it yet because I'm spending too much right now on construction... 😬
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Man....... That list was extensive... Glad to see you're getting through it and seem to be handling it well. Hope it gets better soon.
And DANG - your daughter is getting BIG! She's so stinkin' adorable, too.
I feel for you. Years ago I had a Dodge Dakota that a small ship killed the engine and the dealer couldn’t repair it without replacing the engine. I was forced to replace it.
Also my wife got rear ended and was without her car for two months.
We’ll pray you get it back soon.
It's back and all is well :) I wish you the best with yours
Congrats Tommy.
Keep up the great work myguy
What if you just keep it connected? I use Dropbox to share my files between folders so all files are commonly saved and shared real-time. All my CAD/CAM is done on my Macbook Pro, I just use a fanless mini PC to run the CNC. Works great!
Skipped steps when connected.
sorry about the bad luck and especially the bad truck luck. If it makes you feel any better I had a recall for emissions cheating on my sprinter van, they had it 3-4 weeks, then 1000 miles later the high pressure fuel pump blew apart and they had it from Jan to the end of May to fix it and wouldn't you know the emissions scandal warranty extension covers everything under the hood except for the HPFP! Luckily I had bought an old 7.3 diesel F350 to have as reliable transportation! out of the Mercedes and the Tesla guess which one has been the most reliable in 2022?
I have learned so much from your vids
Good grief she's adorable❤
Your daughter is getting so big! As a old man told me this too shall pass. It might be like a kidney stone but it will pass. Sounds like you have some good friends who would help if needed with a supply run. It is hard to ask for help but we’ll worth it in the end. I hope the rest of the fall is smoother sailing.
On the electric bill side, we had all the rates go up, we went from .08 kWh to .14 kWh, crazy increase!
Very cute daughter.... take lots of pictures she will be 20 before you can blink.
Such a Sweetie!
They just posted a vid on IG a couple days ago with the epoxy pour into they engraving you did. It's going to be nice!!
I saw it finished already 😁 it's pretty sweet.
Jay, I feel for ya bud. I will give you a little advise, and this is just my suggestion. Lean on your friends when needed. Don't let pride get in the way. If you are one that usually doesn't ask for help, your friends know it by now. I guarantee good friends will jump at the chance to help without expecting anything in return. Give them a chance. BTW, I hope all gets straightened out with the truck issue. It'frustrating
Yep, I agree with Steve. Put another way, you're giving your friends a chance to help out b/c there are many like myself who get enjoyment from that - so don't deprive them of it ;)
With your latest luck, I would be reluctant to loan you my truck. Hope things start looking up for you.
264 here passing by to say hi to everyone! Congratulations to the winner and to you Jay for the giveaway
Any updates on the pro pride hitch. Interested in your experience. Considering up grading to one.
Love it. No excuse for improper weight loading. But I've used it with a f150 and f250. Driving both trucks was a non stressful pull.
Her APRON looks so cool with the frills on the bottom. Made just for the GIRL APRON. Don't you have a choice of electric providers in your area. Here in TEXAS we can pick who we have. Mine charges me 9.2 cents a kwh. I have this available for me until 2025.
No choice. Grid or no grid.
Don’t feel bad. My dishwasher broke and I washed a dishwasher full by hand.
Same. And for the next month as well. No big deal when you don't have a dishwasher. But when you're used to using a tool it sucks when it's not there.
And today the garbage disposal stopped working.
Curious as what your total KWh/month is. Those are ridiculous electrical bills.
As the number one rule of motorcycle repair goes: If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem. 😉
when do I win?
do you have the same problem when you use ethernet instead of wifi? sneakernet is kinda a low-tech solution.
Ethernet dedicated to communicate with the CNC
Jay she is beautiful
