Hey - You are divine !!!
You saved my daughter's computer , after pouring juice over it.
I disasembled all and took out the mainboadr. Fortunately, the flooding
was only on the edge. I taped the conectors with tape and cleaned well
only this place - with 98% spirit using a toothbrush ;-)
I rubbed it and cleaned it again, rubbed it again and put it aside
for a few hours to dry. I did not assemble everything until the next day
to get rid of the moisture.
Then I press the key and ... and nothing ! :-o
But it turned out that the battery was empty :-))
So after connecting the power everything is fine and flickering.
    Thanks a lot !!!

At minute 1.52 the blue wire from screen where does it go? I can't find anywhere it clips too.

At 4:46 you jump from the motherboard being still in the chassis to it being removed and you never showed how you removed it. This totally fucked me up

Yes, there is a rather large chunk regarding the removal of the bezel around the keyboard missing. As I'm replacing a motherboard, this is a rather important part.

The palmrest is sometimes hard to remove, the key is to push the edge inward, especially at the mouse button edge. If you go too brutal, it will break, you have to buy a new palmrest.
