I re-installed windows 4-5 times..driver fixed..diassmebled laptop ..and what not.......and the problem was that small switch...........you saved it...thank you so much
This little computer does everything its suppose to! Even tries its hardest to play xbox one games! Graphics are good long as you dont want too fast a frame rate! lol! Tough little thing too!😉
I usually like how Dell enterprise laptops are easy to take apart but they dropped the ball with this one.

HEY, i was wondering if someone can hell me out? Recently this exact model of my laptop, won't start, and i keep getting the battery blinking indicator constantly. Even when plugged in.
Do you know by any chance how to clear the BIOS admin password in a Latitude e5430? Or at least the IC in the board that stores the info and if by grounding it can be cleared?

For a ram upgrade, you just pull off the back cover. No need to do anything else. This video shows you how to take the whole thing apart to clean it.

@@lexbeltran1354ssd fits in the hard drive bay. I don't believe that this laptop has the ability to use the internal ssd sticks.
i got my latitude e6430 cleaned but it was still overheating and hitting 60°c even while idle, any reason why?
For the keyboard he forgot to remove 2 screws for us to see 🤦 I broke a piece because of that
Lol i did the same, i was hard af on my keyboard, did you still test it to see if it still worked?
Every video I've seen of trying to take off the keyboard and top plate show it just simply being popped off while in reality it was stuck right. Had to replace the keyboard because I broke it trying to wedge it off gently. Now I'm still struggling with 2 points holding the top plate down that I can't see. Crossing my fingers that I don't break that too.
I have two extra screws now, 😅 i guess someone at the factory dropped two extra screws and i just put them aside while disassembly.
Omfg this actually my exact laptop with a dent in that exact same spot!!
You weren't supposed to bump your laptop in order to follow this tutorial, it would have worked just fine without the dent... (JK)

Help - mine has very unreliable internal boot from W10 and Linux HD's that both boot 100%
with USB-SATA cable is there a dodgy HD connector in there somewhere?

Im going to assume since you didnt pull the cpu, that part can not be disassembled its soldered on
mine is socketed and you just turn the flathead screw hole from the locked symbol to unlock. Then it fell in my lap when I flipped it over. EZ peazey!

@@breakstone1000 l found out on e6440 , the uncoverd one is the chipset not the gpu , gpu is under cooling pipe
theres no gpu it just has a fan that is away from it and has a heat pipe that connects to the cpu

3mm x 3mm (M3x3mm) HDD screw
2.5mm x 4mm (M2.5x4mm) screw
2.5mm x 4.5mm x 1.5mm (M2.5x4.5x1.5) screw
2.5mm x 6mm (M2.5x6mm) screw
2.5mm x 12mm (M2.5x12mm) screw
2.5mm x 8mm (M2.5x8mm) screw
2mm x 3mm (M2x3mm) screw
2mm x 2mm (M2x2mm) screw
Motherboard port screw 4mm

It's just a tape to fix the heatsink ( the aluminion thing ) with the fan , it also protect it from having dust getting inside from the top of it
