This boat is only $7000? In what currency? I know it's not Canadian clearly like where i am..but if its US, thats still inexpensive..Looks more like a $70, 000 boat to me..!
This dive and video has got to be my favorite non-cold case video. The area is gorgeous, I hate that the fires reached there. The water is so clear! And I love that Dan got to be more hands on, good job on figuring out the location! Definitely my favorite video. Keep up the awesome work guys!
One of my big fears is big deep water. And after watching you guys and what you do I'm staying out of big deep water. Seriously, what you do helps so many people it's fantastic. Finding missing loved ones gives them peace. Thank you. God bless and stay safe.
It looks like an old Nordic picklefork, which is a splash of an Eliminator Daytona. Cool find! that jet boat can be saved and it wouldnt take much work. cool to see this on the channel!
Having recovered sunk boats here with S&R, yes you really can pull the drains and pull them on plane, they'll drain out and float just have someone put plug in when it floats. Quickly... great job guys
A good job well done recovering the $7,000 jet boat & getting it out of water & back to the owner Good on you Guys another job well done Kind Regards Peter
Jared I had to tell this has been my absolute favorite video to date. I came across some of your videos and got hooked. You, Doug and the rest of the guys are for real God Sent Angels to help all of these families answers. I grew up in a time when it was all about jet boats and fast prop boats. The Picaforks, Youngbloods, Chargers, Hydro's, I loved them ALL. I was a plus that my uncle Ray sold these types of boats and campers. We grew up at the lake and loved it. Seeing this boat brings back SO many wonderful memories and God Bless you for saving it for this man and his family. I will be sharing yours videos as well as the other guys who do this too and will definitely be checking out any merchandise you sell. God bless and keep you all safe. ❤️ Joyce Guinn

Having worked a bit in the live event industry in Los Angeles around incredible editing people, I am well aware of how much time, effort and patience it takes to produce these kind of results.....ya better keep this guy, and he's an insanely chill nice guy!

Sounds like this is a better man than me but he returned the boat to the original owners. Idk if he has to do it legally or if he did it put of the kindness in his heart, but thats what he did
Just an idea/suggestion for next time you get a picture to try and find a spot, use a second phone and open the camera and try and match the picture! Just an idea to make life a little easier! Love the videos and purpose!!
That was a fun episode! I am a fairly new viewer, so it's fun to see the older episodes and compare in terms of how much you have learned about using the sonar, how your mission has developed, etc.
So nice of you all to rescue the older man's boat. Was probably eating away at his conscious and he really felt lost and upset that the event happened to them all.. When people work a lot to be able to buy something losing that something really hurts because they know they can't work to get another..
I enjoy all of your videos and really appreciate the service you can provide families. But, it was a nice break to have a object only recovery video. No stress or drama. But, I await the next video
Sure looks to me like that boat was worth a whole lot more then 7 grand. The engine alone was probably 15 to 30 grand. Now it is worth nothing. Most likely will need a new one because rebuilding that one will probably cost more then a new one unless the boat owner can rebuild it themselves.
@@trvman1 this is not true. The whole boat is all still there. She just took an extended bath and needs very little effort to get it back up and running like new. Little fresh water won’t hurt much.
When my wife & I go diving we take a picture on an iPhone so that when we go to log the dive we have a lat/long. With most photos taken with cell phones these days including geocoding in the metadata why not download an app that shows you the lat/long and start your search at the point. At lot easier than trying to figure out where the picture was taken by guessing landmarks on a lake that drops 60 feet over time. You can find an app that will suite your needs by searching photo metadata viewer. Keep up the great content and safe diving. ~B

LOL just kidding I can't imagine finding anything beyond some broken bottles and rocks LOL but I live in Moses lake where ''lake'' really just means a large ground pit filled with algae and some sludgy water
For boat owners new or experienced remember to test your engine on ear muffs let it run till it gets up to temperature put it in gear forward, neutral, reverse. Take it out of gear run the rpms up about a thousand or so. Let idle some, rev to a thousand. Make sure your engine has been tuned up winter time is good time to change oil and lower unit lube. Give a good once over. Charge the battery. Make sure all gauges are reading correctly if not replace them. Test your bilge pump by lifting the flapper. Time to winterize your boat. Because once the block freezes your engine is cooked. On our ski boat we removed the battery for the winter opened the pet cocks on the block left them open and opened and pulled off water pipe you want as much water out as possible. No need to fog. Secondly before removing the battery trim out drive down and make sure boat plug was removed. Reattach water block hose can be a pickle to get off. Leave the drain plugs open wipe up any water residue. If on newer boats make sure everything is shut off and boat is plugged in if it has a heater put anti freeze in the generator come spring oh and add fuel stabilizer tanks filled. Periodically check in vessel in the marina put boats on a lift or put back on trailers.
