I love the Kung Fu Panda reference at 12:01. Its so true though. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, all we have is the present moment. Each time we direct our conciousness to the breath is taking us back to that place of the Now. This is where our power really comes from. All of the great masters know and knew this. I am so grateful this amazing man points it out so clearly, in today's terms and metaphors, to help others understand it as well.

Definitely one of the best and most useful TED talks I've seen to date. Between engaging the viewer immediately (in this 3 second attention span world we live in) and helping people understand that as long as we are willing to practice doing simple things, we can absolutely change the way we feel about even the most complex things.
In the wise words of Einstein (and wise men before him)... "Everything Should Be Made As Simple As Possible, But No Simpler". I think your presentation does an excellent job at modelling those words...

Great talk Dr. Richard! I enjoyed your ability to delight and humor your audience while pulling back the curtain of your own life's story and sharing a simple powerful tool that can change a life; after all, life does happen one moment at a time.
