Cheers mate got the same problem with a modus.the flip key went first ,after e bay purchase and fiddly headache didn't work out now the spare 3 button fobs rubbers split so better luck this time l hope.🤞
Yeah i had same problem bought a few renault shell's witch didnt fit took it to my local key cutting shop £15 to sort should have gone their first go sorted 👍
The blade didn't fit to the hole. I am checking China now, they offer specifications of the shell considering the blade. VA2, Vac 102, Ne 73. Did you mind that whilst ordering? I have clio 3 2007 so I think va2 is mine.
Hello, I think in cases of loss of the fob it is probably a dealer or independent specialist required. Not sure you would be able to fix that yourself. Good luck.

good luck. The modus has been pretty good little car for us all told, but fiddly headache sums up a few of the repairs have had to make!

How did you get the print on the holders in the key? i cant get it on them😅
Hi @cimbria1234. All should just clip together. There are some slightly different buttons so need to make sure get the right ones!!

Can I open my Twingo key switch and clean it and put it back? The button requires a lot of force to operate , must of the times it don't work at all.
Certainly worth taking apart and having a look. If it's the same sort of key it's pretty straightforward. And certainly cheaper than a new key.
@@bigskies2202 This is a 1995 car, there is no key replacement, I must fix it.
