One, it goes with the theory of Garen's ult being Kayle's sword and Sylas is taking Kayle's magic. Doesn't make much sense as Kayle abandoned Demacia and even Morgana says that she herself uses the name Veiled Lady and not the Winged Protector because she is worried that exposing herself will lead to Kayle coming back and punishing the people of Demacia for their crimes. Two, Sylas steals Garen's magic that even Garen has no clue is there. Makes more sense as his sister, Lux, is a mage that uses light magic, and Sylas conjured a light sword. It also makes sense for Sylas to know about it because when Sylas was younger, he was used by the mage hunters for his ability to find other mages.
I think people need to remember that this is a Worlds music video not a Cinematic trailer which they also do every year. The main difference is that the world’s video focuses on the tournament itself, the players and the previous champion. While the cinematic trailer focuses on league of legends lore. So of course there won’t be much lore/story telling on this video.

Most players are in and out of the game within a year or two. That dude is immortalized. He has nothing left to prove to anyone but himself at this point. That is probably the heaviest crown in all of esports, knowing that you are the greatest player of all time, but still having to fight for your life in every game against the new up and coming talent.
Faker's team, T1 won Worlds last year for the 4th time, no other team has won twice but they won 4 times, of course the team members kept changing but Faker was always there so obviously the video is about him and his team defending their title, but I can't help but think about the emotions the animators went through when T1 was one loss away from not even being in this year's Worlds, imagine animating an entire video about a team defending their title but they wouldn't even be playing.
She is one of the few women that could do heavy metal. There was a singer years ago, named Darby Mills, who was in a band called The Headpins. So so music, but her voice...Geezus! Too bad that did not pan out.

I listened to it with a wide open mouth the whole time! That being said, after the initial shock, the usual narrative heavy approach is lacking. I guess they wanted a different approach this time.
Just amazing - I think with the narrative approach it seems like its a lot more toned down that previous years but the quality of the animation, fighting and music makes up for it for me personally! But I can understand if you are a watcher of the worlds how that could be a bit disappointing for sure! Thanks for watching :)

The Worlds songs always have had a "videoclip" type approach. They aren't lacking on narrative but instead have a very simple one because it works as a background to the music

It's because the narrative is unknown yet. This MV is about Worlds 2024 and not a retelling of previous year's story.
