The names mean nothing to him, he doesn't know who they are yet.
Fun fact: the concept for this music video is the band has been blacklisted by big time execs so they broke into the studio to shoot their own music video. All the effects they drew themselves. Most of the shots are taken with Yone's camera drones but you can occasionally see shots from other characters.
Finally someone is talking about the harmonization in chorus the ooohhh part.. I’ve been loving it too… 😊

Kayn was the first character we saw, Ezreal was the one with green hair we saw second, K'Sante the burly black guy from the hook, Sett the one with the dog ear hat, Aphelios the one with blue hair that didn't sing (was underwater in that scene and rang the bell in Sett's verse), and Yone was the one with long hair you said was cool near the end!
Sett has a cat ear hat....apparently made by his mom according to the lore. Also the dog in the video is named Ernest. Kayn drops that in his voice lines in the game once his skin is released. :)

Ez actually does the chorus, K'sante does do the backing vocals on the chorus and the third verse though.
Kayn was the first person, but it was Rhaast singing (at least in my head canon, if not the actual intent)

Because half the subreddit hates Riot for making them lose their games.
The real reason is when you don't have experience in at least some type of music, you can't appreciate composition very well. Any musician, but especially those who play in ensembles, whether that be Orchestral, a Band, Acapella, as well as those who produce know how difficult it is to compose outside of the vocals, which are some of the easiest parts in terms of composition (just a single line melody). It's the underlying beats, the texture that different voices create when put together, counter melodies and harmonies, etc that make the music so good when paired with strong vocals, but so many people just don't have the ear for it.
Most people only hear the melody, and the very basics of the beat and call it generic, but when you really dig into the composition, there's a ton that's very intriguing and very interesting, and sets a lot of their songs apart. This makes sense too, given that with their experience working with Champion themes, Riot's music artists are likely the most familiar with instrumental composition.
@VegaMK2 i ain´t from reddit but!!!!!!! I can only say what i am feeling and seeing as someone that has been following Riot Games and all their releases for over 8 years. The songs and videos they bring out are always good, but if you take their previous songs and videos as a standard the newer ones indeed do fall off. And feel mid in comparison (K/DA, Pentakill and True Damage). The same goes for Worlds songs, trying to rather fit the mainstream genre instead of making their Epic Worlds Songs that make you shiver and make you understand something epic is about to happen. Newer songs don´t have that feel anymore, albeit still being good. Same goes for their Band/Group songs. They are not really comparable to the previous ones in quality and since the Riot Game community has been fed with the Diamond spoon all this time a golden or silver spoon just isn´t enough anymore.
Whenever i see someone appreciate Baekhyun's vocals in this song, i turn into an anime character screaming "You've only witnessed a fraction of his true power!"

Yone is also the brother of Yasuo (the DJ from True Damage seen in the song "Giants")
My guess would be that they're just producer and/or DJ for this group like Yasuo is for True Damage.

They underutilized Baekhyun's vocals. The guy can belt so I was expecting a high note during the bridge. Baekhyun confirmed that there will be a live performance so I guess they will be performing at the LOL World Championship on November 19.

I love how when anyone describes the characters, they invariably reveal which guy they like the most because they highlight which one is the ‘handsome’ or ‘hot’ one.
Japanese dude with long hair and large chest gap - Yone (yoney), The black man with a chest gap - K'Sante (k-santey), Big buff guy with a beanie made by his Mom - Sett, Green hair dude with round shades and a tight-fitting shirt - Ezreal, Silent boy wearing face mask - Aphelios (and he cannot speak nor sing, literally), The handsome fella with exposed abs and red left eye - Kayn.
sorry it's a small nitpick i know, but I'd say Yo-Nay and K-san-Tay are slightly clearer ways of explaining the pronunciation of their names (just because ey can read as ee like in honey or money).

I remember seeing a video a while back of the main guys from Riot all talking about how they loved music and wanted to be songwriters and producers, so they found a way to do it through their games, and they've been KILLING IT. I absolutely love this song and think they did so well composing it. The 2nd prechorus is probably my favorite because of the added snare pattern (and because of the suspense that those rising vocals creates), but a close 2nd is the bridge. I love the warbly underwater sound effect K'Sante has echoing behind his voice :)

One of the best absorbing tanks, he’s a melee character and needs to get up close and personal to do things but if you get caught you better either kill him or get the fk away before he W’s

His entire job is either kill the opponent toplaner or neutralising them, he’s a strong 1v1 toplaner and almost, almost impossible to beat with a fighter

In game: ADC, one of the 200 years of game design characters when he came out first (alongside Sett tbh) he’s a strong team fight ADC who lacks any sort of mobility except forward. Also his gun is 5 different guns and you have different combinations that I as an ADC main has given up on understanding, I just know red gun go BRRRRRR

Basically one of the most infuriating characters to play against as an ADC because he will 100 to 0 you in 0.1 second.

Kayn and Ez killed it, the only really good part is the beginning until the first chorus. Sett and Ksant are quite expendable and there wasn't much emphasis on the voice from the best kpop vocalist, besides, the clip was very confusing.
The music is good, but coming from Riot I found it weak.
