I completely agree I really loved the color but it left my hair soooooooooooooo damaged. I repaired it after 2 months but still. Going to try something else for sure. Glad to know it wasn’t just me! Hope your hair is better now!
I bought this the other day but was a little worried to use after seeing your video. The colour looks amazing on you by the way!!!! I really wanted to do my roots, so decided to use it but instead of using the included developer, I used a professional one, level 9 and applied using a tint brush. This made it thicker and much easier to apply. The colour is fantastic. Vibrant but with a natural vibe, which i prefer to the bold colour i had before. I have washed it a couple of times and so far, so good with the colour. It is slightly dry but only where i had it previously bleached and no more so than with other brands. I applied all over and left for 25 mins. I'm expecting the lower parts to fade, which i will top up with an intensive colour conditioner. I also like to rub a little coconut oil on my hair after washing, which makes a massive difference to the condition and colour. Anyway, early days but it really is a great shade and has wonderful shine! 😁 I think so many factors come in to play with colours taking, including sun damage after Summer. If anyone is having problems with colour fading, I highly recommend Leganza colouring conditioner. I use the copper and Rubious one once a week. They are brilliant!!!! (I'm not connected with the company, just love this product!!!!). Thanks for an awesome channel!
Sitting here with this color in my hair right now, lol. I use a bond builder mask in between permanent dye, and I SWEAR by it. It’s a “copper direct dye,” and when I first went red (on top of platinum), it was super bright, but once I added a 6 neutral light brown with the copper dye it turned out perfectly. It looks super natural and the bond builder makes it feel great.
The brand is Color Lux Direct Vibes. I use the copper shade. Trust me. It feels so amazing afterward!

Oh nooo! It looked so lovely! So sad it didn't work out. 😩 I go through the same issue of them discontinuing my favourite dyes all the time. I always used semi-permanent dye. They then kept discontinuing all of those here until I had to switch to a permanent dye. Well that wrecked my hair. I only used it for about a year but I really regret it. It basically stripped all the natural pigment out of my hair. I went back to semi now that there is one on the market again I can use. I'd really recommend Clairol - Natural Instincts Semi-Permanent Hair Color if you can get it there. I find it so gentle on my hair and it doesn't fade too quickly. I don't know about a copper shade specifically because I use red/burgundy. But they do have a pretty good range here in Canada. Good luck finding something! ❤

Try Glaze concé Cherry. It's a hair tint for in between colorings and its a really pretty copper color! No ammonia. Just a hair conditioning hair tint. Also, the Good dye young semi permanent hair tint has some copper colors that are also conditioning hair pigmented creams. No harsh chemicals and vegan cruelty free. But I love this color on you. Very pretty!
i came to this video as i just went from strawberry blonde (my natural color) to this. i like it although i already miss mt natural color
@@hannahjolene3333 that's usually how it goes that's why tints and the Glaze I mentioned are probably best if you want a change for a little bit as it just washes out over time. I'm trying to get to the perfect copper color right now amd it's been difficult! Lol
@@kristenjack7384 yess i feel that! usually i’ll use a highlighter as well and that’s actually what i did this time so my hair isn’t like all the way darker. but ive been noticing a pink tint in my hair which i think is so pretty. have you tried going to hairdresser? or asking for tips,

I was going to go for it as have dirty blonde hair which is really like wet cardboard colour in winter. Bought this shade for 'new year new me' and I am not going to do it after you mentioned afterwards about the condition of your hair.

Beautiful color! Shame it didn't perform well afterwards! Have you tried semi permanent color (level 2)? Doesn't damage hair, but color choices a bit limited. Natural Instincts brand (here in the US). Fun video! 💕😊

I get the same problem with reds, violets and coppers fading quickly from the lengths and ends of my hair. Doesn't matter what brand I use.

Since red molecules are the largest they can't penetrate the cortex causing it to wash out very quickly

Oh no! It looked brilliant to start. It covered the roots really well. Have you tried function of beauty products? I’ve just ordered some. Hoping I like them as they were quite pricey. Wish I could help with a colour. There are some good copper colour depositing shampoos around. Maybe would give a boost when your colour fades?

Hi there I’d go for dyes without ammonia like Schwarzkopf Oleo Intense - I currently have 5-77 which is a darker copper (in my recent lookfantastic advent calendar unboxing) but I also use 7-77 which is brighter. I found that these auburn dyes fade very quickly like next day I don't know if it is the dye or the conditioner that is doing it have you come across this problem with nice and easy light auburn or golden auburn no mens ginger dye on the market for my hair and beard so I have to use this because very few companies now do a ginger permanent dye making things very difficult and hairdressers won't dye my beard because of health and safety reasons incase I injest any which makes them liable
All red tones fade fast in any brand. You need a color depositing mask to refresh the color . Like dphue auburn or copper it’s a conditioner no chemicals than just tints your hair
Henna is what you need. Light Mountain Naturals red or bright red, or light red if you want really natural.
I wonder if you only cooked you're roots for 5 minutes, then applied the rest all over for the 20 minutes. See if the ends keep there colour. But not good if it dries it out.

Such a shame Clare as it looked really good when you first done it. Did you mention Olia at the beginning I use to have there colours in my hair at the hairdressers not ginger but two different browns and a blonde and it always came out well and lasted a nice long time. I always used Aveda colour hair shampoo as well. I did also thinking while I am typing used Aveda colour a couple of times not sure if you can buy and do at home though which always came out well.
How will this colour come out over the top of a bleach?

Shame about the colour do you know of any one that does avon or buy it off avon website they do hair dyes now and not bad and there not too dear sometimes they have offers on them hope this helps as I have very thin hair too
erm.. it faded out everywhere exept for the roots because you only left it on for 5 minutes!
That's a real shame that colour is perfect on you . So natural looking ..but there are some real good ones out there..I don't dye me hair anymore (I'm sticking with nature's blonde)..but I used to love John frieda..x
This turned by roots orange and the ends brown. It looked horrible. Nothing like in your video.
