I love Nice n Easy ash colours. Never use anything else. I use Light Ash Brown, which gives me gorgeous no red medium brown results. I also go a shade lighter than the finish I want.

I am exactly the same starting color as you, been using John Freida 8N after being platinum blonde and have re growth and some different shades. I'm a hairdresser, and in the beginning I really thought that it would turn out green gray isch. But I'm really suprised, also cause it lightens your roots 2 levels. Because that's not what I expected from a box.
rebecca muijskens Her roots are virgin hair, which can lighten with normal dye, without being bleached. It's only dyed darker hair that cannot be lightened with a lighter dye. I dye my hair at home all the time, and my roots are usually darker than the colour in the box. It lightens just fine because the roots are virgin hair.
This video is a fantastic cudos to nice n easy. I won't be using it because I have afro textured hair and I don't trust the moisture level. You look fabulous!
Hi, the result looked lovely. do you know how light your hair has to be to dye light ash blonde? Im just not sure how dark medium would be on me, i have dyed my hair light ash but i bleached it first so im not sure it will cover my roots without bleeching.
well my roots were quite a darker medium brown and i think it did a pretty good job blending them with the rest of my hair which was also bleached in the past. i dyed over the bleach but it was mostly faded away. i would say if you hair is a lighter or medium brown it will lighten it especially new fresh roots. no matter what it will lighten you hair if you start out darker but might not be as light as the box shows :)
i hope im not the only guy here lol, but i bought this cause i have long hair and wanted a different color needed to see a vid on this i like how it works, guess I'll try it out today
