@@catpoke9557 I believe the only reason she did it like that was because we haven't seen 90% of these characters as kids, for the ones we did know as kids she used them as kids for reference. Like Collei being the main example. We know of a few others from manga/in game but she probably just hadn't seen the references to know about it.

I imagine at that age Jean is already learning swordsmanship so you end up biting your nails while you and Barbara watch her practice outside. She gets a few bruises from messing up her footwork and you’re worrying the parents will ask about them, but Frederica walks in, says “ah, you helped her train, very good, here’s a tip” and you are left feeling a little disquieted.
I like to imagine baby Zhongli hasn’t even learned how to take human form yet just sit him on a warm rock get the sun lamp going he’s content.

11:45 Our boy childe didn't join at that young of a age, if you are ranking from 5-10 years old then he would be an absolute sweetheart, here's a little lore fact.. At the age of 14 childe fell into the abyss where he lost himself, afterwards he was saved by someone (forgot their name). Soon after that he joined the fatui, which means he would definetly not be sent on a mission by the fatui to rob your house (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
I believe Skirk taught him to fight in the abyss.

Considering kaeya was left in a different world when he was probably around ~7 to be a spy i feel like he would behave well
Ningguang was really poor when she was a child so she might be constantly trying to find a way to make money off you, like diving into the couch for coins
As much as I love my boys, Chongyun would be an absolute angel but Xingqiu would be a menace to society and make Chongyun join in on his antics (or feed him spicy stuff while having the Anya face on as you deal with Chongyun).
And with Layla, she's really sweet but due to her possibly having a type of DID, her other side would possibly cause problems as she's very energetic yet calm when it happens. (Yes, I'm a Layla main)
You'd accidentally feed Chongyun something spicy and then he would tear your house apart, but if you just read the dietary restrictions and pay attention, he would be super quiet and a little cold
Xingqiu would sneak away while you weren't looking to go on an adventure that he kidnaps Chongyun for. You spend the entire day looking desperately for him and then once you give up, go back, and try to call someone for help, you find him sitting there on the couch with a book

Idk, I'd say she nailed him in this one. Considering how he feels about Yae Miko, it's easy to imagine him as a tiny insecure kid that's intimidated by the group of kids on the playground and is scared to join them. XD

I think Yae would be under "cries, wants their mom back" in the Teyvet Handbook, Alice (Klee's mom) visited Inuzuma when MIko was a child and that it was easy to make her cry.
For Zhongli, I pretty sure he's under the rowdy category.

In Amber’s backstory, she was a bit of a menace, but she behaved well around people she respected. She also really wanted to be a knight when she grew up.

It depends. Are taking Scaramouche or Wanderer as a child? Or soft boy with a veil child? In the latter case, he'd probably be a crier. Also, Scaramouche as a child would burn the house with your wallet in it, and Wanderer would just be a menace. A high-grade menace, though. Maybe make a mess and blame you for it.
I love the fact that Scara will be on these videos moving forward, he is my favorite character and seeing him just makes me so happy!
I feel like Layla has a secret chaotic side to her, and she would be an absolute menace if you lose track of her, but as soon as you or her parents find her, she puts up her shy, sleepy facade and tells a pretty good cover story in a shy voice that makes you feel a little guilty for being mad at her, but the chaos she got into can't go unpunished.

@@placeholder5041 Always keep your wind spirit in an open space with lots of access to both gentle breezes and raging storms. The seaside is ideal, mountaintops also work. Feed them the highest quality morning dew and softest clouds and you'll have yourself a happy wind spirit! Do not feed them sugar if you do not want to have an excited mini hurricane bouncing around your house.

Albedo would play witches and make "potions" by sticking things from outdoors into dishes to act as vials. I speak from experience.
I think Childe was a quiet and creepy kid till the age of 14. He doesn't really know how to communicate with others and there were times when he even stuttered. He is frightened that he will say something that is bad. Then the Abyss came and he was forced to harden himself, that place gave him power and confidence, and became the person he is now. And I think that was one of the reasons why he accepted the power from there, even if he caused chaos everywhere.
Faruzan (Hatsune Miku ;)) is pretty sassy based off what we've seen of her for now, I would put her under quiet or creepy kid

I would actually put Yoimiya in the second tier, mostly because she already knows what happens when you set off fireworks in a horrible way. Her dad is almost deaf and probably got like drilled in how to be proper with fireworks. It also doesn't change the fact that all she does in game is be a therapist to a degree.

Fun fact, before Xiao became an adeptus, and before he even participated in any fights he was a gentle boy. But that changed when he turned into a killing machine. He’s not gentle anymore but at the least, he’s still caring, as he takes his bond with others seriously, which is why he grieves so much when he lost his brothers and sisters
So baby Xiao would be one of the sweetest babies to babysit 👩🍼

You are babysitting Jean and Barbara, you get to the house and the parents are pretty rushed to leave, they tell you the very basics about the kids (name and age) then leave. Jean shows you around the house, gives you the wifi password because she knows that asking for it is awkward and just general things like that, tells you to call her if you need anything else and goes upstairs to do homework. Then you walk into the living room/lounge or whatever you want to call it and Barbara is sat on the sofa with a notebook writing down song lyrics, then you and Barbara start talking about music after noticing what she's doing and begin showing each other the songs you both like.
I'm imagining Jean to be like 15 ish and Barbara to be 11/12
Ningguang would be the quiet child, but mostly due to the fact that in lore she grew up in poverty for the most part, which makes that notion way more sad than it should be.

To be honest, I'd say it is more fun to speculate on their current personalities but with the maturity level of a child. Because then you'd get some pretty crazy kids, as opposed to most of them being just rather nice, vanilla kids, which would be a bit boring.
I think the scenario of this video is basically that she forcibly aged the current characters down to babysit them as is. Their personalities match with their current ones, only changing based on how being a kid would change them
I doubt that's the case, when she talked about Shenha, she was considering pre-red rope, which is truly considering her canon youth. I think she's just not too invested in some of the chars' lore, hence she bases off their current personalities

Okay hear me out, Zhongli would totally be a very VERY curious kid, the type who would always ask why are you doing this or that and even after getting an answer he would continue to ask things until your sanity is gone
I think eula should go into 'pretty good, a bit rowdy' bc of her family. since she hates her family, I think she would be glad to get away from them. she would probably vent her little child problems to you, but then threaten you so you don't say anything to her parents. she might be a little fidgety/energetic bc she doesn't get to do that stuff normally. I haven't read all of her lore so this might be a bit off, but you get the idea. happy headcannoning!!
I feel like Zhongli as a child would be one of those kids who's a bit of a "curious parrot", where he's asking questions all the time (asking "Why is that?" would be a practically constant thing from him), and he proudly spouts all the things he's learned whenever he gets the chance, though his young mind isn't yet able to determine what information is and isn't accurate yet, so he sometimes parrots inaccurate things to people.

Tartaglia didn't have any violent tendencies until he fell into the abyss at 14. Once his family found him, they decided that they couldn't deal with his new attitude and sent him off to be a soldier in the Fatui. Then, he started rising the ranks really quickly and ended up being the youngest ever Fatui Harbinger (and as they're starting to get revealed more and more, I think he's the only one from Snezhnaya besides MAYBE Knave)

IMHO Zhongli would be a perfect kid in my eye, or for any male babysitter for the matter. I feel like I can behave him, I just play my guitar, then Zhongli out of curiosity will ask when or how did I learn to play, and I explain to him in detail and he's just always nodding his head and is focused on the matter.
He loves history, he'll mature early. He'll be a keen listener. He will learn to older people how to tell stories, it's how he honed his storytelling skills.
Also Yoimiya will be on the good side of this, I feel like. There is a handicap in dealing with deaf parents, and she handled it very, very well, so she must have been taught properly as a child. She'll be a cross between Amber and Thoma as a kid imho.

Jean: rebellious according to Jean herself.
Kazuha: quiet and creepy but more in a "leave me alone" kinda way. There were 2 events where he talked about that age even.
Barbara: Jean babysitted her and apperently she was very curious and a bit rowdy and would want to be left alone.
Eula: well correct category... but she could apparently also be very obedient before the age of 7.
Amber: very silent kid. She was impressed by Eula and wanted to become like her (and then not...)
Keqing: curious and silent. Did not take active participation, but would look and observe (IIRC, might have been Ningguang)
Diluc: very helpful, but not very obedient. He would help or ignore you, depending on whether you asked for it, or not. (based on the comics) Adeline likes to portray him like he is childish :p
Itto was told to be silent and obedient at that age, see event.
Xiao: He was super into hanging out with his friends, even before he became a yaksha. Zhongli said in an event, he was childish until he learnt how to fight.
Xinyang: Was a crybaby. she found rock 'n' roll at age 13 (i think). See event. She was crying to *not* be with her parents...
Yanfei: Madame Ping said she was very obedient, but not silent.
Yae apparently was the "burn you house down, and ran with your wallet" In the earlier days she did not terrorize, but did not give a single f*** about others..
Zhongli was told to be *very* silent sometimes and other times he was told to be talkative. however, it is not clear whether he was a child in the 2 stories by the 2 people.

Albedo: would leave hand prints of paint everywhere
Klee: would accidentally stRta fire while showing you how her mom makes pigs in a blanket
Sayu: you would find her asleep in a closet
Amber: word be a very nice kid
Aether and lumine: would be caught having a nerve battle (they're also taking it very seriously like it's war or something )
Ayaka and ayato: it would be pretty normal but ayaka would be less social
Gorou: his tail got stuck.
Kazoo: would be quite if you gave him a book to read
Barbara: she would cry because she misses her parents but would open up to you sooner or later
Ganyu: bump her head into a wall trying to do who knows what and said her horns hurt
Noelle: would pretend to be a knight
Beidou: "wanna play pirates?"
Jean: Jean would be around 9 and mostly with Barbara till she stopped crying then open up to you as well
Keqing: I feel like she'd be a kinda foody kid ngl
Diona: she'd be a tattletale
Xiao: would be very introverted towards you
Hu Tao: you would think you lost her till you found her in the backyard playing with dead bugs by the pool
Lisa: she'd be into romance movies and willing to watch one with you, though she'd wouldn't be quite, she might give a lot of her opinions during bit
Collie: would sit other top of her fuzzy carpet stairs with Nutella
Yelan: she's an MSA kid
Diluc: you would I stantly loose him

Ei: would also cause a fire trying to cook

Yanfei: she'd be a very nice but talkative kid

Bennet: is constantly getting hurt
Qiqi: sayu envited her over and is also sleeping in the closet (but woke up an hour later for coconut milk)
Xingxu: I feel like he would boast abt having a 6th grade reading lvl in the 4 th grade
Layla: was also envited to qiqi and sayu's sleep over
Cyno: got dragged into catching caterpillars with tighnari
Razor: got lost outside at night
Nilou: she'd be super sweet and show her dance moves to you (you better compliment her)
Zhongli: hu Tao just envited him but he didn't do much
Xinyan: was singing to her favorite rock band with the tv on high volume
Eula: thinks she's better off without a babysitter
Xainling: you baby lit the house on fire
Kokomo is eating fish sticks (don't ask why)
Ninngaung: found a quarter in the corner of her room and is very pleased
Chongyun: is eating ice
Kuki: fell of her bunk bed
Thoma: is a very nice kid and helps you with the dishes
Miko: is making little stories and her hand writing is surprisingly good at her age
Mona: also found a quarter in her room and is happy
Nahida: is very happy with you and spends time eating ice cream with you
Candace: found someone getting bullied and got into trouble for punching the bully
Fiscal is playing with her LED lights

I used to be quiet/creepy child. Most wouldn't label me as creepy unless they went and investigated how I'd play with my stuffed animals. Like that shit was fucked up, especially for a seven year old. No horror movie I've ever watched has compared to me playing with my cute teddy bears. I was an interesting child, even though everyone labelled me as the perfect responsible child. I was just kinda traumatized lmao
I grabbed grasshoppers and played with them like dolls until their legs fell off which made them too broken for me to keep playing with so I'd discard them and find more grasshoppers. Often I'd make them fight each other like action toys. I didn't even like action figures or Barbies. Only grasshoppers were fun
