This guy was 50 here when they filmed this back in 2014! The guy aged pretty damn well I would say! If I had to guess by looking a him here I'd say he is late 30's, maybe 40 at the most! Too bad he never did nail down his acting. Yes he was bad in Samurai Cop, but it was his first real acting gig and he was like in his late 20's then. He seems like such a genuinely decent guy. Certainly can laugh at himself, and at his work here in this movie!

Your relentless curiosity about the process that goes into making movies, be it Plinkett, HITB, or BOTW, leads you to places other people wouldn't even bother to go. Plus you weren't needlessly a dick to the guy you were interviewing; I can think of a lot of critic channels on RUclips that would use the interview as an opportunity to mock him rather than get a clear and concise story. For anyone wondering, Samurai Cop 2 is terrible. It's like one of those awful Italian Nazi-dominatrix exploitation movies where half the "actors" are just porn people who can't act killing men. Even worse, it suffers from "Starring Frank Stallone" syndrome, because this guy isn't even in half of the film.
About that lion on the wall ... I think it may be that the director showed it because the old Iranian flag had a lion in it. Perhaps he was proud of his old country (he fled to the U.S. after the '79 Iranian Revolution). This is just a theory because nobody has been able to explain it thus far.
It's a pity Mike and Jay didn't have acting roles in Samurai Cop 2. It would have been the ultimate feedback loop. Plus their comedy acting is up there with Matt Hannon's. Also get Rich Evans to play the Police Chief!

About that lion on the wall ... I think it may be that the director showed it because the old Iranian flag had a lion in it. Perhaps he was proud of his old country (he fled to the U.S. after the '79 Iranian Revolution). This is just a theory because nobody has been able to explain it thus far.

It's a pity Mike and Jay didn't have acting roles in Samurai Cop 2. It would have been the ultimate feedback loop. Plus their comedy acting is up there with Matt Hannon's. Also get Rich Evans to play the Police Chief!

It's been 6 years since this came out, and I'm still waiting for these hack frauds to interview another actor/director from a schlock movie on the show.
