Interesting analysis of Crouching Tiger. I remember loving it when it came out. Watched it 2 weeks ago and the flying sequences kinda got on my nerves. The fact that they are flying does not bother me, its the fact that they fly A LOT and after a while I feel like I'm watching people jumping attached to strings like I was at the circus. Still a good movie though. Very interesting list!

The Matrix is not only the best action movie of all time, but also has the best action scene of all time when Neo fights Smith in the subway. Simply perfect choreography and execution blending ground breaking visuals with practical fight stunts. No other scene in any action film is as stunning IN MY OPINION.

The types of films I was wondering about when I made up my list were films like reservoir dogs is it action. Most of the action is actually implied more than actually takes place. I went with if it has any action im counting it as action. After all the lists we make are our lists. So we should be able to make them as we see fit.
This list is missing Robocop of course...Joking but had to toss it in there. Seriously though this list is much different than I would have expected. There are a handful of movies in there I wouldn't consider action, but it's such a loose category It's whatever. My biggest surprises were probably Predator and Die Hard being so low on the list, and no John Wick movies. Another one that I was wondering if I would see or not on here was the Raid/Raid 2. I really appreciate you taking your time to make all these wonderful videos. Film is subjective people. I count aliens alien 3 and resurrection as action movies. Promethusus probably not. Speed over Die Hard and at number 25... this needs to be talked about. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Speed. It's just that Die hard usually happens to be much much higher on most people's lists. As always love your unique-ness 👍
I think Speed does a much better job with the periphery characters. I actually care about the people on that bus and I root for them to get off. They're not just canon fodder. Because of that I actually find it to be a more tense, adrenaline inducing film than Die Hard, which is still a 5-star classic in its own right.

Allow me to be incredibly salty here but the original King Kong is clearly the best film in that 'franchise'. Also just saying, you love Japanese culture yet there is no mention of any Kurosawa film here, especially Seven Samurai and Yojimbo which are two of the greatest films of all-time if you ask me. Interesting analysis of Crouching Tiger. I remember loving it when it came out. Watched it 2 weeks ago and the flying sequences kinda got on my nerves. The fact that they are flying does not bother me, its the fact that they fly A LOT and after a while I feel like I'm watching people jumping attached to strings like I was at the circus. Still a good movie though. Very interesting list!
Homefront starring Jason Statham is a very underrated action movie and it was produced by Sylvester Stallone.
I love that you had lord of the rings at number 11. My dad read me those books as a kid, and they have stuck with me, books and the movies.
The Hobbit was one of the first books I read out of choice. As was LOTR. Never been the biggest reader but those books just hooked me.

The Matrix is not only the best action movie of all time, but also has the best action scene of all time when Neo fights Smith in the subway. Simply perfect choreography and execution blending ground breaking visuals with practical fight stunts. No other scene in any action film is as stunning IN MY OPINION.
Matrix 2 had much better action, although was the lesser film overall.

The types of films I was wondering about when I made up my list were films like reservoir dogs is it action. Most of the action is actually implied more than actually takes place. I went with if it has any action im counting it as action. After all the lists we make are our lists. So we should be able to make them as we see fit.

There are a handful of movies in there I wouldn't consider action, but it's such a loose category It's whatever. My biggest surprises were probably Predator and Die Hard being so low on the list, and no John Wick movies. Another one that I was wondering if I would see or not on here was the Raid/Raid 2. On a side note I see you must really like Hero and House of Flying Daggers, what did you think of Shadow? I just picked it up in the $5 blu ray been and am looking forward to watching it.

Speed over Die Hard and at number 25... this needs to be talked about. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Speed. It's just that Die hard usually happens to be much much higher on most people's lists. As always love your unique-ness 👍
I think Speed does a much better job with the periphery characters. I actually care about the people on that bus and I root for them to get off. They're not just canon fodder. Because of that I actually find it to be a more tense, adrenaline inducing film than Die Hard, which is still a 5-star classic in its own right.

Allow me to be incredibly salty here but the original King Kong is clearly the best film in that 'franchise'. Also just saying, you love Japanese culture yet there is no mention of any Kurosawa film here, especially Seven Samurai and Yojimbo which are two of the greatest films of all-time if you ask me. Otherwise, some really nice picks!
