From what I've read online, he (along with an accomplice or two ) had gotten some really nasty shit pinned on him/them ("Murder, robbery, rape, escape... The whole damn nine, we'd rob a sucka blind..."!!! - No prizes for guessing where that came from I'm afraid!) 😊
Apparently he did some nasty stuff, except(!)... Some of it didn't stick to him, apparently. The heavier stuff was attributed to his accomplices...
Now, he either got away with it... or... He didn't do what he was accused of in the first place...
But... He DID do his time. So really, I don't know what to believe for certain. Which is, to be honest, the same feeling I get from 99% of the 'done-timers' on here, y'know?!?
I know you 'can't judge a book by it's cover' and all that, but (doing _exactly_ that!) going by looks, how he talks and acts, he doesn't come across as a hardened prison criminal. He does seem to be friendly and articulate, giving no hints as to what his life has previously been like... Definitely seems to be a little bit smarter than the average bear though! 😊
And yeah, inevitably, there will ALWAYS be people calling others out in these situations...
So unless you were there, how could you ever know the truth/trust anyone who talks about it all?!

Anyone who can do decades in calif prisons and come out normal, did his time proper... Everyone embellishes stories a bit, but he had to have treated people right and gave and got his respect....

I used to live close to this area ,it is so stinking hot during the summer. I fried an egg on aluminum foil for my younger brothers, to show them how hot the sun was. I can imagine how hot it is in prison without air conditioning.
