John is still the best guest you've ever had on your show, Shaun.
Best wishes to John and his family.

The controllers of our internet are vested with the same ones that control our mainstream media. The ONLY way that we can accomplish this is to go door-to-door get addresses and signatures, and give them our emails in case they change addresses. In the short limited time frame that they give us 100,000 signatures in 30 days, to come up with ridiculous numbers in the amount of time before it's even VIEWABLE to others "which they control", it is the ONLY way for us,,- to go door-to-door and collect signatures so at a specific time frame we can present it to Congress & and DEMAND.

This was a great interview, really interesting.👍
Hands Down my favorite guest. Thanks for bringing Mr. Abbott back on. Way to go. Lets hope for part 3 someday.
John Abbott, tbh i wish you were a movie star because you've got a brilliant natural presence, plus composure, charisma etc etc. ...Seriously, in the right movie, you'd be top class
Reminds me of Redford
Reminds me of Fonda in easyrider

Yeah he murdered a woman and buried her along with another rapist/murderer, a great guy and is wanted in connection for it in the US
@@oranbhoy67 i never knew that. ..ok well i guess his only acting option is Hollywood because they've all got a dark past there 😉
weird compliment but had to say it......the sound quality of these interviews and videos is wonderful. Loud, clear and mixed fairly well. great work
Agreed. There's so many interview videos on RUclips where they don't do well with the sound quality. But that's such an important aspect. They even soundproof the room with that foam.
Definitely. And definitely not weird; just very observant. Not sure if you are a musician, but most musicians, like myself, would recognize it immediately. Look at the studio setup he has. The egg carton foam on the walls in different patterns to absorb sound and prevent wav reverberation, proper mic positioning; it looks like a music recording studio that has near enough perfect acoustics to get pristine sound quality. Clearly a pro setup.
The audio is so good man thanks for saying this. For me wish it was slightly louder, but I got hearing loss so who knows.
22 yr old Texan here. Just discovered Shaun and his channel the other day. Have now watched several of these interviews and Shaun's other videos of his own stories. Shaun is now my favorite youtuber! Love this channel and second the other comments that are praising the audio & quality of the video/interview. Shaun your own story is fascinating. I commend you for how you have truly changed your life and made it into a life worth living, for you. And has made for some great stories! Cheers
Welcome aboard!
You`ve got to have him on weekly, as a co-host ...or for God`s sake, at least convince this man to start his own podcast! Brilliant, best guest by a long shot! Obviously you`re badass as well Shaun!
This podcast was not long enough....please bring john back.....we need more.
Hope this isn't the last one for John Abbott, great stories and I think he definitely has more in the tank and I would like to see Shaun ask him some more questions and have more of a conversation.
@@mooncrater3362 Who is John Abbot? I mean his story,? He's pretty interesting.
@@sdoe7381 go back to the first interview..
I could listen to Johnny all day long.
He should do audio books
How about it, he's got a naturally good voice to. Who knows what he does (legally I mean) to put bread on the table these days but maybe he should think about having a podcast?
@@truthvjmcdirtywork yeah, what does he do for a living? He’s got a nice family and stuff, I just wonder what an ex con did to now have a normal life?🤔
@@evanabbott2737 - He said he bought some land 28 years ago, then planted pine trees. 28 years later, he sold them for 1.5 million dollars. I don't know if that included the land. He said something along the lines of "a true long term investment". Pretty effin' cool!!!!!! Did anyone else catch that? Help a brother out!!!
he probably hates being called Johnny 😅
If you have not seen part 1, stop what you are doing, and go ahead and start watching it. This guy is calm and collective, yet thoughtful and consistent! Wonderful watch. Thank you for these two podcast! Much love
His interview with John was great! John seems philosophical, laid back and very intelligent. His description of the fight with the large fat man and when he was in the race was so funny.
Did John write a book? If not, he should!!! That would be a definite New York Times best seller!!! Add a DVD copy of this interview, or even just a snippet of it. I would certainly, most definitely buy it!!!
Just into the first few minutes and this guy is great. The Fat guy fight was hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I am a white boy he used to live in pho Oakland and all my neighbors were black. Because my landlord (whom lived in the same house) was prospecting for a well known outlaw motorcycle organization and frequently had fully patched individuals stopping by to”visit”. Oh, the neighbors were VERY respectful!
Violence is the only thing those things understand.
Absolutely brilliant... we were glued to the podcast. Gasped and laughed throughout.
Love your stuff shawn I listen to them as I drive along doing my deliveries
Favourite podcast to date please get him on again
This guy needs to make an audiobook of his stories. Very easy to listen too and very very interesting!
This dude sounds like a wise Native American from a cowboy movie
Thats the BC accent

Yeah, my dad’s pretty cool...😁

Shaun, massive fan of you podcast listen to them all and love them. John has been the best guest in my opinion such an interesting guy. When he does show three I love to hear his insights on the big four prison gangs and run ins he's had with members of them. keep up the amazing work Shaun
Calm cool collected - Quiet and that makes him deadly! Very glad he is living without going back to prison! Honesty is refreshing! May Creator Bless this man and his family!🍃🌸🍃🙏🏽🍃🌸🍃
I could listen to John every night! Love his raw honesty! Thank you Shaun. He reminds me of Clint Eastwood.
John Abbott, You have the storytelling ability and the charm of my favorite Civil War historian, Shelby Foote. Is there any possibility that I might be able to read your stories when they are published?
As soon as he said 'and then he got an HB pencil' I knew something horrific was coming
firepanda282 horrible story - but Shaun's reaction was jokes 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭
Cops needed that practice that guy shouldn't have cost the taxpayer another Cent.
I am from Galway Ireland . I Lived in San Francisco for 17years . I got convicted of GBA assault for defending myself against a drunk in a bar because I was a kickboxer.
I worked and lived in Castro, it's definitely weird place . I was in redwood city jail Old McGuire and 850 Bryant s.f jail, and San Bruno jail.
Did you return home?
@@hanorabrennan8846 ya. I'm doing same as wildman tile and fitted kitchens in Galway Ireland. I was in Kern county jail and saw crazy nortenos and sorenos rape and beat young guys and saw I.N.S officers beat a Tunisian guys face in. I was always supers fast and doing aikido krav maga and jujitsu since I was teenager so I could handle more than 2guys at a time. The worst place was 2weeks I spent in Tina county northern California near Sierra Nevada's. My brother died in San Francisco 7weeks ago and I couldn't fly over to turn life support off. Finally my favorite person. Ever to be interviewed !!!
He could do a senior version of american psycho 😊
Guy could/should be an amazing narrator in a film. Sounds like a native Canadian. V cool and understated
This guy sounds like the crime version of Jordan Peterson. What a cerebral guy. More like this please!
Your right, he is clearly very intelligent, probably why he managed to survive.
I can listen to John all day.He is a very wise man and we'll mannerd. He is definitely the best guest you have had on here.
BAAHAHAHA!!! That fat guy fight was the best thing that happend to me too. I haven't laughed so hard in ages 😂🤣😆😂🤣😅
I would have been terrified, I have had a fat guy sit on me before and almost suffocated. Imagine going out like that..
Thanks for having John Abbott back. You can tell he is smart by how he articulates himself.
I remember American Band stand and soul train lol we used to have neighborhood dance contests every Saturday when I was younger
Shaun u have to find a way to get some American guests on the podcast. “Freeway” Rick Ross would be an incredible guest, his drug trafficking days include dealing with the Nicaraguans, CIA and the Clintons
He been so many times in different podcast so his story all over youtube. Better with unknown guest.
The podKast got real gangstas.I’m tired of AmeriKan gangstas well; gangstas in the United States . To be honest this Shaun dude really on the weaK side .
I read about Doug Orr when Sonnys book came out, and as many of the characters in his stories I haven't forgotten about him since. So cool to hear John talk about him.
Yes! Best guest you've ever had, back to the good old content!
Thanks for the stories fellas
In regards to the Dan White story, it was Diane Feinstein not Nancy Pelosi. But that’s okay. No one tells a tale better than John Abbott!
I would never thought this guy was ever an ex convict. Your podcasts are always great.

Does anyone know why this was removed for a few days? I watched it when it was available a few days ago.
My question too. Thought i was losing it when it wasnt there.
I asked in one of his videos and no answer, maybe you can email him directly for a reason. But I doubt you get a response. It was prob just a error and it was meant to be uploaded later.
Heard He wasn't supposed to put up new material until his faux par was sorted!!!
Same
@@markkeegan7535 That's why you download Shaun's videos as soon as you see them. If it's worth it you'll know after watching and you won't have to worry about it getting removed before you watch.
I imagine most folks wouldn't have a problem with the cops trying to take out evil in the corn field.
I feel it's justice all the same.
Tax payers only pay for the bullets
I have a big problem with cops deciding who is evil
I wouldn’t if we lived in a world where logic and reason reigned supreme and cops were honest and they wouldn’t act without actual proof.
But in reality I don’t trust cops to do pull people over properly without cameras documenting every movement and word.
Justice all the same, if the guy is actually guilty and the cops are not either corrupt and lying or simply wrong about his guilt or mistaken identity.
I saw a guy get jailed and moved across the state only for the cops at his final destination to do a tiny bit of actual police work and discover maybe 20 minutes later that he was telling the truth and it was his identical brother they were after. They just gave him a court date and let him go, over 100 miles from home in a strange city with nothing but his cloths.
Cops as judge, jury and executioner in most cases would be a horrible idea and a worse reality.
This guy's demeanor is so calm, BUT you know when he wants to Flip that switch, It is FUCKIN Game On!!! Love it.
I'm completely enamored by him. That's really all I can express in words. The strength, experience, and hope from his life has really made me rethink my life entirely, and today is my birthday. Wow.

@@icechiller8073 this is rarely talked about, it's kind of a taboo, but tons of women have it. John is the best story teller. Very entertaining and informative.
Best guest on this channel, I don't doubt a word he says
David McMillan is up there too
In my line of "work" ppl lie to me on a weekly basis (usually their pay day) so I can tell this guy is as honest as they come!!! Which, sadly, is a rarity these days!
This guy's brilliant. "Robbing drug dealers warmed my heart" 😅👌🏼

John has the most interesting accent. Its part California, part Canada, and he does sound sort of British sometimes too. Also an interesting cadence, reminds me of how a lot of native Americans speak.
Can we hear about his life post Canadian prison ?
One of the best Shaun
Get this guy back on for part 3
Second go at these riveting stories. I live right next to Stony Mountain Prison near Winnipeg that John has talked about. Great fascinating interviews 🤘🏻🇨🇦🥊
I learned at age 22 in redwood city jail San Mateo California in 2001 how to navigate the race rules. An A.B friend of mine Bill Hurt Welsh guided me through the rules. I was a young Irish guy who hurt a ex marine who attacked me I got sentenced I did year in county another 14 months 8n state and then 3 months in I.N.S detention
Brilliant podcast Shaun,John is a fascinating articulate fellow
How has this not got more views ??!!
Mr Attwood love the content keep the good interviews coming . You should do one on OG black ! Straight guy
For real
i used to wrestle with this kid, i was in my 40s and he was maybe 20. he likes wrestling with me as i'm really fat and heavy and he felt the training against the weight was valuable.
one day i feel a little weird in one of our contests, like a slight confusion and a feeling of a loss of moments of time. "did you just choke me out?" "yes, sir, i did. sorry"
it was absolutely painless, just kinda instantly went to sleep. no fuss. no muss. no struggle. no nothing. just good night nurse!
It's true what he says about jogging in place. I was in solitary for 3 months during my stint and would jog in place for about 30-45 minutes. I had it timed perfectly so I'd get my "dinner" right at the end of my run. I'd wash up, eat, and sleep like a baby.
Shaun going: "uuuuuuh" "aaaaaaaaaaaah" "ooooooooooh" is the realest.
Awesome Podcast mate
Great interview awesome knowledge terrific work probably the best so far just magic 👍
You won't want to mess with him he's that guy that can see straight through you!
Great job one the video Shaun! I wonder does John know Mitch Smiley?
I’ve been in Sacramento county jail and all the drunk tank and holding cells are like one big toilet (the rooms were small as fuck, but big for a toilet) with drains on the floor and they smell like piss and they pack you in there with way too many people. Luckily they didn’t beat the living shit out of me.
"the thing is, they're not evil, they're us".
Let that truth sink in.
I have the book ‘Ordinary Men’ Frankl I think. Horrifying but fascinating.
Watched the first one. This one is great too.
Please get John back soon, fascinating video. Could you ask John what he did after his release and his further adventures in life? Thank you! 👍💗
