Just installed it today in 2022 Corolla SE. i got the model with front and rear cams. watching the video and reading the manual is a must. The video explains the gotchas and how to approach it. The clips , the wiring were a challenge but the video helped to prepare for the challenge. Total time for installation was 30 minutes. No issues with car sensors and safety features that I noticed. I would recommend to new installers to examine the clips on how it locks into place. Try practice removing it because the cover is concealed from view and pretty much you are using your sense of touch to release the clips. I will update my comments if anything breaks. 😜Thumbs up. 👍 Update:. After month of use no problems yet. One thing I noticed is the download from the DVR to your phone via built-in WiFi is bit slow but manageable. Also realized once you are connected to the built-in WiFi you are not connected to the internet so must disconnect from DVR after done downloading or manage the DVR.

It is completely up to you if you want to install the aftermarket dashcam. From our experience it has not caused any problems so far. It does not drain the battery.
hi morozov, i also install mine. i set my recording to 3minutes with 128gb but when i reach the 128gb full memory, it only records 15sec skip 15 sec and the record 15sec and so on and on. did that happen to you also? i set mine to erase the old vidoes for the new recording

can the camera continue to run even when the car is off? i was thinking of purchasing something like this because there's been an increase with cars being broken in to in my area :(
No, the camera can not record when the vehicle is off. I believe you can get the hardwiring cable from fitcamx. This cable needs to be connected to the fuse box and this will allow the camera to use parking mode.

Thank you! This dashcam comes with the G-sensor. It will automatically save the video in case of collision but I don't think there is an option to manually save the current video file.
By default it doesn't have the parking mode. But you can order the parking mode cable from the Fitcamx. This will allow you to hardwire the dashcam to the fuse box and use the parking mode.
