This is legit the first I’ve even heard of this game and I think I’m in love… the portal system seems so cool to me I think there’s going be such a huge gameplay gap between high level/competitive and just casual, kinda of like building with fortnite except it’s just full of sweats or children now nothing in between cuz it’s been what it’s been for so long

The mathcmaking system is one lf the best i have ever seen. Casual and Ranked are what they should be in games. Causal is calm and fun. Ranked is fun but challenging, more games need to focus on a very balanced matchmaking system to actually be played by people.

I got into splitgate before it released on consoles, best multiplayer shooter I've ever played, competitively it's just as amazing as rocket league, I would watch every day if jev continued making videos. amazingly well made, too, only ran into a few bugs over 8 months of playing.
Fortnite was in the same state as splitgate is now back when it was in its first season and epic put in a ton of work to get it to where it became the most popular game. If the splitgate devs continue to make updates to splitgate and advance the game in a good way then splitgate will go far for sure!
eh, its a great game imo, but i feel like its current size is due to the fact that current players are just waiting for halo or another game to update or release.

Dying instantly when portalling heroically to the enemy side at round start in Stadium is the best way to die. Go hard or go home.
