Hello and thank you for this review, it was very helpful. As far as spray characteristics go, do you find that you've had to adjust your spraying technique by using your wrist because it's a pistol grip airbrush versus a standard airbrush?
Thank you for your kind words, actually I found it easier to control the paint with the trigger. It’s very comfortable to use, I put new links in the description below the video that offers specials and discounts.
Hay Steve. I own the Gaahleri Advanced Series airbrush GHAD-68. and I can not say enough good things of the brush. It fits my hand great and it is easy to use because of "uncle author"... It sprays great and easy to use. The box is a pain to open, even Grandpa Marks Hobbies had the issues opening the box... Lol Everything is tightly fitted in the box. I made a video on mine as well. I like the Gaahleri brushes so much I bought two more... 😁 Thanks for the video and showing off the Gaahleri Advanced Series airbrush GHAD-68... LLAP 🖖
@@ScaleModelKitReviewThe more I use mine the more I like it. These brush's are not "Top Of The Line" some say, maybe so, but I don't see how there not considered up there. For the money, I'll take these any day of the week and I'm a proud owner... Lol No I don't own the company! 🤪 LLAP 🖖
just got this. no paint comes out. put water in it first, and it just spirts out the paint well. set at 15psi. air comes out but no liquid, any suggestions
I would suggest you take the airbrush apart and check all the parts, especially the internal needle Teflon seal that I removed in the demo. Do you get bubbles in the paint cup? This would mean your nozzle is clogged, your needle might be jammed in the nozzle. Taking apart everything and reassembling it might fix your problem.
@@ScaleModelKitReview thanks. I tinkered while listening to video lol swapped needle and that worked. might be they put the wrong needle in, as it wasnt moving back with trigger pull. Super appreciate it!
Your very welcome, what can also jam the needle is the Teflon seal in the body, if that small brass needle guide (I removed with the screwdriver) is installed too tight, it will smash the seal the jam the needle. Cheers
Just bought one on Amazon for $53.99. Thank you!
You really don't need the Hallmark channel music soundtrack.
I picked up one and just got it today. I'm looking forward to giving it a go later.
Good Review Steve.
Thanks Gil
How do you get the lid of the cup off?
