    Nowadays you never have fathers and sons play at the same time, much less have them hit back to back home runs. Of all of these, that may be the most unreplicable (other than the 30-3 game, but that’s different).

    • @eddyvideostar
      @eddyvideostar 5 лет назад +8

      To Perma: The 30 - 3 type of game is more common than the Griffeys. How old were they at this point in the video?

    • @orangecrust76
      @orangecrust76 5 лет назад +20

      @@eddyvideostar The only reason I mentioned the 30 run game is that it's only been done once since 1900, so technically it's as rare (both have only happened once), but you're right, the Griffeys' feat is truly remarkable. At the time, Sr. was 40 and Jr. was 20.

    • @Sandler23
      @Sandler23 5 лет назад +10

      @@Sahjhan It's called a rundown. The players can run the base runner down & tag him or they can keep throwing the ball back & forth until the player with the ball tags the runner out. What the runner can't do is run off the line by two or three feet, to get away from the player with the ball. You must have the ball to tag the runner out. Hope that explains it!
