A player can't drop or throw a racket, on purpose (e.g., to hit a ball). A player must have control of his/her racket when he/she hits the ball. That means, a player can't drop or throw a racket to hit the ball, and the player loses the point if the ball touches a dropped or thrown racket.
So technically, that move was useless.

@@greenlest not to be nit picky but you take any one shot away they lose. So to say that's the one that won the game when it actually only forced a second overtime is wrong. It was a great shot. And it's easy to focus on that as being the game changer.

@@JSSTyger It's usually said that when something weird happens (UFOS for example) and is recorded the quality of the video is really bad. Obv it doesn't mean that something like this can't be recorded with good quality, it's just a joke (sorry for the bad english)

I don't have proof but looking back at it I seem to remember that ad (and the others like it, like Lebron repeatedly sinking full-court shots in practice or Vick or some other QB throwing a football out of the stadium). It should be noted that there's no scorebug or network logo on the screen--in Andy Roddick's time, I would think any network showing tennis would have something there for the entire broadcast.

The coin standing on edge happened to me once. My kids had three choices so I chose the one I did not want to grant for the coin to stand on edge. None of us could believe that it happened. Yes, I kept my word.

The best story I have is in Little League when the pitcher pitched and the 3rd baseman was turned around looking at the scoreboard with his hands on his hips and his glove open facing behind him. Yep, the ball was hit and went straight into his glove for an out, his back turned, unaware that he caught a line drive for an out until it was over.

Amazing story, it was a quarter final match though. So the winner would have to win some more matches before challenging the world champion.

I remember my one in a million. I was 4 or 5. There was this kid in our neighborhood who would come over to play and always break or steal our toys. One day he was biking by and he had just been over the day before and caused trouble. I had a toy pan and threw it into his bike spokes on the front wheel. It was just like in a cartoon. It wedged in the spokes and hit the fork, he flipped over the front. Went home crying. Possibly the greatest thing ever.
Mine was in school. Hit a free throw from the middle line. I'm like "Easy!". Schoolmate said "Now do it again." I said "No problem." And did it again. (I gotta add I sucked at basketball.)
Pseudo Mortality. .. Not bad. My life had a few of these moments. My favorite is.. I'm a 11 or 12 year old mischief-maker, fishing at the Family Farm Pond with the annoying neighbor boy. Effing around with a BB gun I start to shoot at his fishing rod as he's casting.. he that holds it still and challenges Meant to hit it.,YEAAH first shot from 30-40 yards, the rod droops over in slow motion like a cartoon. Shot his Pole in half! 1 bebe .primal scream then he Runs home to tell his dad on me..Side note- I threw a stick into the kids spokes on a couple of occasions too.soo funny
During a basketball game in junior high one of my teammates shot a free throw. The ball bounced back and forth between the backboard and the front of the rim a bunch of times, then bounced straight up and down on the plate between the rim and backboard until if finally came to rest on the plate. The whole time we were jumping up and down anticipating a rebound, but it just sat there. Finally, the refs had to get another ball just to knock it down.
I remember this one in a million shot I made. It wasn’t sports related but me and my friends always met up in the middle of the cafeteria. And a girl ask me to throw her gum wrapper away and I like the turd I was. I just turned and threw the gum wrapper as hard as I could at the garage can probably 30 yards away. It went right in and nobody notice except one kid. Who turned and was like are we really not going to act like he just made that in the trash can. It was just crazy it was even able to fly that far.

It was shown twice from two different angles. Listen to it right at the beginning of the clip, he says something about second overtime, only the sound is fuzzy. The second time around, from the other angle, the sound is much clearer for some reason.
I saw that Freeman catch live and couldn’t believe what my eyes saw. I thought it was incomplete in real time too.
All the crazy plays in tennis you put the only one that's not only fake, but breaks the laws of physics.
