Turning It Wet And Letting It Warp - It's My Most Favorite Cut Of Walnut, Too

In this video, I turn a bowl with a flared wide rim out of a wet piece of a Black Walnut. I cut his piece out of the log to be quarter-sawn, with sap wood, heart wood to the edge of the pith. Warping has already begun and will continue for many months, if not forever. This is one of my favorite cuts of blank to turn a bowl. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it.

Finished with 3 coats of Watco Medium Walnut Danish Oil for deep penetration to bring out all of the gorgeous grain
