Peter, you posted a video on February 9th, 2020, creating taper. That video is what inspired me to take up bonsai. Thank you.
At 28:30 in that video, you show some maples i really wish you would show again. Thanks again.

I am always delighted when I receive a new upload notification from herons bonsai and from the gentleman Mr. Peter Chan and his wonderful staff and video crew. I learned so much in a short time about the art of bonsai and it flamed me, so I decided to start an apple bonsai from seed. It already successfully germinated. Thank for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. It is truly a lovely community to spend time with. For many many years to come like a healthy bonsai tree...

Thank you Peter always good to go over the processes of pruning trees, I love to see the new leaves coming through a short time after pruning the trees, talking about using the prunings to increasing stock, a couple of months ago I bought 3 Hungarian tall plants with reasonable trunks which I reduced in size and the pieces which are quite thick I planted with some hormone rooting powder and planted them in a substrate I had used previously which I keep and reuse for the purpose after 2 weeks I now have 6 new plants which in time will be used for bonsai. The new growth on Larch I tend to pinch out the tips is that recommended ?. The cones I like to leave on most of them I may take off a few if they are spoiling the shape. All the best Peter.

    Another informative video Peter!
I have rooted deshojo cutting from spring. 1 rooted from 5.
It has nice 10 cm long shoots again put on nice growth.
Should I try prune now and try to root the cuttings?

I noticed at 11 minutes, when you pulled out that tiny maple, it came out of a water bath. I have a Barbados Cherry, so my question is should i ever be doing this to my plant. When and why?

1st how do u know u have a fungus? U can use anything like copper fungicide. Tree should be kept in the shade though and not burning in the sun all day after spraying it
