I LOVE the zen bathroom category the most, thanks!

These were gorgeous....and absolutely impossible for those of us with small bathrooms, bathrooms without windows, etc. You are so creative, I'd love to see your take on making the most of your 1950s pink bathroom. I'll bet you could make this fabulous.

Omg seeing this makes me want to cry
I have no clue how to put this together like you did. I have a standard 5x11 and I don’t know how to make it warm and white. I don’t want it to feel cold, picking the right tiles and wall color is a big issue for me

We renovated recently, and chose the zen style. ❤

I just finished renovating my bathroom 2 months ago and followed many of your suggestions in the first section. In fact one of those photos could have been "mine". I'm just looking for some cozy accessories. Beautiful examples.

I find it a little funny that all the classic and timeless designs are white, black and neutral. When many bathrooms throughout history have been full of colour

And when I say colour is back for bathroom trends, everyone freaks out that it's not timeless! LOL
      Consensus is hard! :)

"Throughout history" means any given time previos to now, but that does not mean it is timeless. For example, you could have a bathroom with pink tub, toilet, and tile from the 50's, burnt orange in the 70's burgundy from the 80's, etc... But must people have changed them out for a more contemporary aesthetic. I think what we're talking about here: I just payed a lot of money for my new home. I installed a white marble bathroom, a black with white powder room, and white with black second bath. The trend is more toward natural wood tone century l cabinetry, but I don't have to worry about the "trend" because my most expensive fixtures are timeless (cabinets, tub, toilet, tile, faucets.)

Agree w Debra. Colored bathrooms get dated sooo fast. There are no colors that are timeless except "non-colors" like black, white and neutral.

Great video, thank you. I like your professional, nonfussy approach to presenting information. You requested potential ideas for future videos. Here is a suggestion: We had a huge Jacuzzi bathtub in our master bathroom. As we did not use the bathtub, and it took a large amount of floor space, my husband removed it. Other issues include updating the shower space, providing adequate storage, and replacing the tiled vanity and tile floor. Long story short, removing the bathtub ended up creating an awkward space that we're struggling to redesign. Perhaps this is a design dilemma for other homeowners too.

Working on a project for a client with this exact situation! Those Jacuzzi tubs are something, aren't they!

Soaking tub? They are freestanding. Even if you don't use it, they are a beautiful aesthetic, practical when you need it, and I think timeless. And very affordable now.

Is there a difference between using mirrors to "amplify" the light and just putting a higher wattage bulb in the light fixtures?

Bla bla bla...marble, marble, marble, marble...A few years ago it was subway tile. Now subway tile is dated. Pretty soon marble, marble, marble, marble will be dated too.
