THanks Gary, had the wifes windshield replaced couple of years back, safelite had to redo 2 times because you must replace those brackets and they kept shoving that sealant instead. The black moldings kept flying off on the interstate. My wife is a rock magnet, so had it replaced about 3 times now.
@@amandaraye210 To my surprise, they are holding strong. I was worried about that, especially since I always use the drive through carwash (BlueWave). Just make sure to remove the small plastic inserts that I show in video 2 ruclips.net/user/shorts4BxSI3TbSKU prior to installing the new mouldings.

did you use an adhesive to install it? Ive seen videos with and without and wondering which I should do to hold it best
The mouldings came with some adhesive already in place. I think I just had to remove the plastic film protecting it prior to installing.
